My Sweet Aunt Never Left Me

I just want to say that I have always believed in ghosts. I have had many experiences in my life, but this one experience shows that family continues to watch over you even after they have gone.

My Aunt Mary died June 26 of last year. She was a sweet lady with beautiful light skin and soft mix gray hair. She was mixed with Irish. Emphysema took her at the age of 80. A couple of weeks after her death I had often wondered if she would appear to me. To my surprise she did. It was during one night on a weekend. Haunted House In Dublin

Years ago, in 1996, when I just had my second baby we moved to a house beside his mother in Dublin. The minute I walked in the house I knew there was something there.

My elder son who was one started staying awake at night and as he was only starting to talk all he could say was man. He wasn’t looking at me, but behind me.

We used to hear noises coming from downstairs but the one thing that freaked me out – I was asleep one night and the hall door downstairs opened and I heard bags being carried. At first I thought it was my boyfriend home and I fell back asleep but woke up later and thought he fell asleep.

This was about 3 in the morning when I heard the door and he swears he didn’t come home until I saw him walking in the door.

Ghostly Foot Steps

Hi. My name is Nicole. I want to tell a ghost story.

I don’t know how to start off with it, but here it goes. This happened on September 17, 2007 between 2 am and 5 am in the morning.

My computer sits right next to the TV in the living room. I was on the computer searching and playing an online game. My husband was in the bedroom sleeping in the bed. I kept hearing kind heavy foot steps just walking around in the living room. I know it wasn’t my husband up and walking around because I got up, went to the bedroom and checked on him to see if he was up by any chance. He was still in the bedroom sleeping in the bed.

Am I Being Watched By A Ghost?

Ever since I moved to this new trailer I have been experiencing many ghost encounters. When we barely bought the house, there were two holes by my room. One on the wall and the other on my door. We don’t know what happened. My dad fixed the hole on the wall but not the one on my door.

My first night there was weird. I had been hearing voices in my sleep. At first I heard a really loud sigh in my sleep that woke me up. A week later I heard a little girl talk and say, “Hey, Ale.”

I heard her again a week later and said, “Come over here!”

After a month it was hard for me to sleep so my mom bought me some tea for sleep and natural sleeping pills (not wit drugs!). Since then I have been unable to sleep with the light off or the TV off.

I Think Our Apartment Complex Is Haunted

This past weekend my seven year old grandson spent a few days with us. Sunday night my wife and I were in the bedroom while my grandson was playing in the living room. He came running into the bedroom and told us that he was scared because he kept hearing a scratching noise and couldn’t figure out what it was.

My wife and I quickly looked at each other, only a little surprised. We were quite familiar with that sound as we had heard it ourselves quite a few times. To us it sounded like something was in a box or behind a wall trying to scratch or dig it’s way out. There are no mice or rats here and there is nothing that could explain away the sounds.

My Haunted Workplace

Hello! I’m going to tell you about the place I have worked for the last Ten Years! Its A Veggie Cannery in Oregon. We process beans, corn, and squash. It’s very haunted!

I work the Sanitation Crew, cleaning equipment, and throughout the plant in the summer we pack our fresh veggies, and in the winter I work in the packaging room, where it all gets shipped out all over the world.

Our plant is creepy at night, as I work the graveyard shift. In the summer, it’s booming, but the winter in the packaging room is another story!

I’ve heard machines come on by themselves, people call me by name, only to find no one there, My crew hears and sees things, and tells me, as I am their Supervisor. They want answers that I cant give them!

A Brother’s Ghost Who Couldn’t Move On

Well, this is a story of my little brother who passed away when I was a year old. You see, my brother had heart problems as a baby and he only lived to be three months old.

I was born July 17 1994 and he was born July 19 1995 so we weren’t very far apart. Of course I was a year old when he passed away but my parents said that we were very close before he died.

Pawnee County Farm is Haunted

I had just graduated from high school and decided to ditch the town I grew up in. I moved to Pawnee, Oklahoma to live with my dad till I got a job and my own place.

My sister-in-law had been telling me that the house that I was living in was haunted. The house used to be the old County Farm for Pawnee and it used to be an old folks home. Well, I didn’t believe her at first. I had never really believed in ghost or spirits.

The Haunted Apartment

When I was in college I rented an apartment with a roommate. His room was across from mine.

Sometimes I would just lay in bed with the door open, he was always hanging out. A few times I saw a shadow walking in his room, but I didn’t think anything.

We hired an old lady to cook for us and maintain the apartment. We used to shop for groceries in bulk to save. One of the items we bought is a 20 lb bag of rice. One day the lady was telling us if we want to save money we have to stop giving our food away. We didn’t understand what she was talking about. She explained that the rice seems to be less every day. We told her that we don’t even get in the kitchen since she is cooking.

Young Girl Murdered By Man She Met Online

This post is a not related to ghost stories, but I feel like it is very important.

A young Minnesota girl was killed after she met with a man in person whom she had come into contact with on a website called Craigslist. (*1) Katherine Ann Olson, age 24, replied to a help wanted ad for a job and was later found murdered. Police do have the suspect in custody, but that is little consolation for the girl and her family.

There have also been at least 30 people who have been murdered by someone who they met through MySpace. Most of these have been young girls.

It breaks my heart to hear news like this. I want to strongly advise anyone who reads this to be extremely careful with people you meet online. It is very difficult to know who they really are or what their true intentions might be.

My Great Grandfather’s Ghost

Ok. I’m 13 and my Great grandfather had just died on the last Sunday in August of 2007, and I was and still am Terrible sad. I hadn’t seen him in about a month, and then he just died, that’s why I felt guilty and horrible.

Anyway, I cried almost every night trying not to think about it and I cried when I saw things he gave me when he was in the hospital. Anyway, my great grandfather knew how I hated my TV being off, anyway when I wasn’t home over the weekend, my TV turned on by itself and I have been hearing heavy foot steps, and I think I may have disturbed him and I feel really bad that I cried because it’s all my fault he’s back on earth again.

My mom has been hearing the footsteps too and I thought I was just hearing things.
