Paranormal State Coming To A & E

A & E is heavily promoting it’s new series about ghost investigations. The title of the series is Paranormal State.

Here in this image you will see a huge billboard which covers a six story building in New York. Who wouldn’t notice such a large billboard, especially if you could hear weird voices when you came near it.

If you notice the two black square looking things on top of the building, those are special speakers which use directional audio technology. These speakers make use of ultrasound waves to concentrate and direct sound in much the same way that lasers do with light.

The sound waves from these speakers can be controlled in such a way that only people within a certain area can hear the sounds. This has been described as making people feel like they were actually listening to the sounds through headphones! Very amazing stuff.

Mysterious Civil War Ghosts

I swear that this story is true. Me and my four year old daughter Kacey had just moved to a new house. It was very near an old civil war battleground.

A week after we moved, strange things started happening. My daughter would wake up in the middle of the night screaming. I would ask her what was wrong, and she would say that she awoke to a figure of a man leaning over her, breathing on her, and staring at her.

At first, I thought it was just her imagination. Then strange things started happening to me. One night, I was sitting in the kitchen making dinner. The knife that I used to chop the vegetables suddenly thrust up and almost hit me in the throat. I was so scared I fainted.

An Imaginary Friend Can Be A Real Ghost

Recently we received another story that explores the subject of imaginary friends. Experts tell us that there is no reason to be concerned when our child “encounters” an imaginary friend. They say that it is harmless and can actually benefit the child by helping them to develop their imagination.

But what if your child’s relationship with an imaginary friend goes much further than simple imagination? Many different cases have been reported which indicate that there can often be a more macabre explanation of the child’s imaginary friend than just simply imagination.

What do you do if the imaginary friend disturbs or even harms your child? Is that even possible? Can an imaginary friend actually torment or frighten a child?

My Terrifying Ghost Experience

I swear this is true.

One night when I was 12 I was staying up late doing my homework, at about 3am. All of a sudden I hear voices from upstairs, where everyone was sleeping. I thought I was going mad and that my brother and sister were talking (they share a room) so I got back to my homework.

I heard the voices again about 5 minutes later. Then I yelled “Will you two just shut up, I’m trying to do my homework!” and the voices stopped.

About 15 minutes later I decided to get a drink in the kitchen. Haunted House In Kentucky

When I was a little girl I used to live in Anaheim, California. Unfortunately, my father lost his job as a producer for movies. It was about a few months later that my grandmother died and had left him her house. Our whole family moved in straight away because we had no attachments in California anymore.

When we moved in it was quite a big house for Kentucky so of course me and my sister were excited to be moving in. We chose our rooms and we ended up choosing two rooms next to each other. There was a dumbwaiter from the kitchen to our hall.

Haunted Hospitals

Have you ever heard of a hospital that was supposed to be haunted? When you think about it there have been quite a lot of deaths that have occured in hospitals. This is especially true for the really old ones. Not too many years ago the condition of health care was no where near what it is today.

One very famous haunted hospital is located in Kentucky. It is the Waverly Hills Sanitarium which was used for tuberculosis patients. There were more than 6,000 deaths here, no wonder there are ghosts!

Readers of one of Britain’s largest newspapers have been calling in to report UFO sightings. Witnesses are saying they saw a triangular shaped craft with three lights, one at each corner. The UFO was described as being silent and very large.

Sleep Paralysis Scientific Explanation Or The Old Hag

Have you ever woke up to find yourself completely paralyzed, unable even to scream? This strange phenomenon does happen to a lot of people.

Since history began there have been reports of people who had awakened from a nightmarish sleep only to find themselves unable to move or even make a sound. Typically the person will feel like they had just had a very bad nightmare, but they will not be able to remember what it was about. You just have this feeling of terror and helplessness. Sleep paralysis generally lasts only a few seconds. though it may seem like much longer to the person experiencing it.

I have personally experienced sleep paralysis and I am sure that many of you have either had this happen to you or you know of someone else who went through it.

My Grandma Cookie’s Ghost Talks With My Dad

This is something that happened to me just last night.

I was really cold and my dad asked me if I wanted to sleep with him. So I did. It was three thirty in the morning when I noticed that my dad was not in bed. So I started calling him.

That’s when I noticed he was at the coffee table talking to someone, but no one was there. I started calling his name, but he didn’t answer, and he wasn’t on the phone. He was looking straight in front of him, and when he said “Grandma Cookie” I got really scared.

“Grandma Cookie”, was our great grandma, and our dad’s grandma. She had died eleven months ago. Then he started saying stuff like, “Yes,the girlies are growing up fine” and “Say hi to grandpa for me”, who had also died, but he had died five years ago. Then he said ,”I love you,good-bye.”

Little Girl Ghost In The Navy Blue Dress

I have had a lot of bad experiences with spirits, but this just tripped me out.

I am only 15 years old and I have had so many experiences with paranormal stuff it would seem I was like 85 if you never met me (but I am 15!).

I went to Mexico for a vacation. My aunt lives on a farm. She’s lived there all her life. I went alone this time. Normally, I go with my family, But this time I wanted some time alone. When I got there the farm needed some serious fixing.

The Ghost at Beachwood Road

I am now a local college student but when I was five years old I used to live at 14 Beachwood Road. Life Growing up was normal. I moved in as far back as I can remember on my 5th Birthday.

The first strange thing happened when I was lying in bed at 9:00 playing with my Play Station 1 I got for my birthday and I could smell food in the hall thinking there would be something outside, a surprise.
