I have believed in ghosts and paranormal beings for a long time, so it was only natural to go see the supernatural on the port Arthur ghost tour in Tasmania.

The fist encounter was when we headed to the church. My dad said he saw a face in the bell tower, my friend’s sister has also seen a face in the tower.

Crying Girl Ghost

Two years ago while visiting a friend in Maine, I rented an old guest house near his property. Unable to stay in his home at the time because of heating issues that were in a state of being repaired, I decided to rent this guest house so I would not be in the way.

The first night of my visit was wonderful. We had a marvelous dinner, sat together and reminisced, looking at old family photos, and drinking wine in front of a blazing fireplace. I had not been so relaxed in years.

The Hooded Ghost In My Bedroom

I had a few experiences in the house I grew up in, most of them were related to my father who had passed away when I was seven.  But this story does not concern them, for they were something my family and I dealt with in an open and loving atmosphere.

My story happened one night in the middle of July 1983 when I was fourteen. That summer had been hot, and we did not run the a/c in the house, we just used ceiling and floor fans to cool the house.

Father-in-laws Ghost Says His Last Goodbye

I have always had an ability to see and hear things that most people won’t normally hear or see. The story that I’m about to tell you is real and means a lot to me.

About four years ago I was living in an apartment with my husband and two daughters. We had a long hallway and first came my daughters bedroom and then ours. My husband’s father was ill and in the hospital.

At about 3:00 AM I saw the shadow of a man in my hallway. All of a sudden I heard my eldest daughter talking, at that point I knew that my daughter was speaking with the man. She sounded very comfortable as if she knew who she was talking to.

This took place when I was 11. I am now 24, so about 13 years ago.

My mom and I had just moved in a new house. We finally got unpacked and I was in my room playing and all of a sudden I hear someone whisper my name in my ear and a cold wind after. I jumped up and started screaming and ran out of my room and told my mom. Of course mom didn’t believe me (what mom does at first) and told me it was my imagination. When I was six I got dropped off at my grandma’s house after school. My grandma lived on a really high hill with a long driveway and trees on both sides. So I was walking up her driveway when I heard whimpering. I looked around for the cause of the noise but I didn’t see anything.

As I continued up my driveway I heard barking and a huge dog jumped out in front of me. The dog had streaks of dirt and blood but I could tell it was white to begin with. Hello everyone!

I often search for interesting paranormal related websites. I have been fascinated by the paranormal world ever since I was a child. I enjoy reading the ghost stories and looking at possible ghost pictures.

True Ghost Tales is based in Kentucky, so when I found the Kentucky Area Paranormal Society I wanted to tell you about it.

I contacted the webmaster to say hello and to discuss our paranormal websites. Dave and Tom are great people who seem very enthusiastic about what they are doing.

Ghost Soldier In Hotel

Before this experience I myself was a skeptic – not believing in any ghost story – however this has changed my opinion completely.

Me and my friend Becky work at a hotel which was built on top of an old hospital, used during the war to treat injured soldiers.

When we were working late one night, we heard squeaking coming from the corridor.  However, when I checked to see if anyone was there, the hall was empty.  The noise sounded as if it passed right by me but there was nothing to be seen. We found that past employees had heard the same noises.

A month later an advertiser was in taking pictures of the hotel. When the pictures were developed we were horrified to see a man with an army uniform in a wheelchair looking round the door to the lounge into the very same corridor.

One Of My Scariest 3rd Eye Experiences

I am Alix, and I have had the ‘GIFT’ since I was 7 years old. I have been seeing ghosts every day of my life and somehow managed to survive. Every one who has this gift has their own scariest experience.

I was in high school when it happened. I was in the room of my great grandmother (passed away) it was the time when I was still so scared of what I see everyday, ghosts.

The earliest known records of mankind’s belief in Satan and demons appear in the Jewish writings from about 300 BC (Around 2,300 years ago). Within 200 years the beliefs and concepts concerning Satan and demons became very well developed in the Palestine region. Within another 200 years this concept spread out as far away as Ireland and Europe.

Probably, the most widespread, generalized belief is that Satan and demons are fallen angels with Satan being the ‘leader’. Satan is viewed as the enemy of God and the embodiment of evil.

There can be a lot of confusion in the paranormal world as to just what is responsible for certain events, but most paranormal experts agree that a demon and a ghost are not the same thing.

Ghost Picture From The Haunted Georgetown Hotel

It isn’t often that we find a good ghost picture to add to the site, but we just received a really amazing looking picture from the HPI paranormal investigation team of California.

The team was investigating the haunted Georgetown Hotel and one of the staff captured this photo of a ghostly figure which seems to be looking out a window.

The picture was shot by Holly DeLaughter on Dec. 8, 2007, so it is barely a few days old as we publish it here on True Ghost Tales.

The True Story Behind The Raynham Ghost Picture

Have you ever seen this famous ghost picture? This is known as the Raynham, Massachusetts Ghost and was taken in Massachusetts. The person in the picture is William Eburn, the photo was shot by his brother-in-law. Naturally, they did not notice anything strange until after they saw the picture.

Recently William contacted me and offered to provide us with a story about the picture. I was very glad to get his message and could hardly wait to read the story behind this ghost picture from the actual person involved.
