I wish I knew how to start this. It began in November/December 4 years ago. I was a freshman in high school then, and now I’m a senior. My friend at the time and I were messing around with an Ouija board and learned I had a spirit in my room that stuck around at all hours. He was a rather mean spirit. One night I had gone out and an empty glass on my mom’s desk fell off and moved across the room. Face in the Rain

A few years ago me, my mum and her partner went on holiday to Cornwall, we stayed at a quaint little cottage nestled in the woods not too far from the sea. The weather had been beautiful all through out our stay until our last day. It was raining quite hard as we began to pack up, we would be leaving the following morning. I was 16 at the time and quite reclusive and stubborn. Not wanting to waste the last day I went out on my own for a walk.

I had gotten to know the surrounding area quite well in the past two weeks so I headed out confidently in the direction leading towards an old fashioned wood shed.

Witnessed an Orb?

My husband and I believe in the paranormal always have. In the 20 years we have been together we’ve experienced a few unexplained things such as: loud sounds, lamps clicking on as soon as we got home ( a welcome sign I suppose), my hubby and I being awakened in the middle of our sleep by a whispering voice in between us and other experiences. To this date the worst one we (myself and my 2 children) have thus far witnessed is what I believe was an orb. I did a lot of research and spoke to experts about this experience in the past.

Its Been Following for Years and Trying to Kill Me

Hi. I don’t remember exactly how this started, but I’ve had a ghost-thing (I believe it’s a girl named Mary) haunting me on and off for years- even with me moving homes. It takes while.. but she always finds me.

The first time, I think she appeared as a cat- and a girl at the door of my bedroom.

The second, I was having a really nice dream while sleeping on my futon in couch position (when I had a minds eye view of the corner of my futon inching down towards my face to suffocate me). I woke up before it got to me, but I was pretty scared. I think she tried something else too in one of my dreams.

I started spritzing orange oil near my door, and I had a dream where she was shouting at me angrily from the door of my room- and she didn’t bother me for a while.

Catskills Inn Nightmare

Around 1976 or so,when I was a kid my Father my stepmom and me went on a car trip out to upstate New york to visit an old Friend and family. The house was big and old. It had those long windows and high ceilings with big staircase and large entrance with an ornate overhang on the front. The color was a dark red stain with peeling white trim.

We stayed a couple of quiet days with them except for the last night I had a strange nightmare. I awoke with this heavy weight on my chest. It was stopping me from breathing. Haunted Darwin 8

Further to my previous submissions that are my own on this site ( see previous stories here ) I am also privy to the ghost stories of others ; this was told to me by a customer last week.

My middle aged friend and her 2 daughters in their early 20′s live in a house I guess you could describe as on stilts, in an outer rural area of Darwin called Humpty Doo.

These open air planned homes are best suited for the tropics, high off the ground to catch the cooler air and large verandahs all the way around.

They moved there about 5 years ago and the girls always felt creepy, particularly on the side of the house where the elder girl has her bedroom.

The mother initially dismissed the girl’s complaints as being upset after a new move.

A Haunting in California

When I got out of the Army in 1979 I went back to California and temporarily moved in with my Mother in a Condo in the City of Stanton in Orange County.

From the very first day I knew there was something strange about the condo. First of all it just felt wrong. Secondly, the next morning, all the electricity was off in the house. When we went to the circuit breakers, they were all in the off position. My mother told me that this was happening to her on a regular basis.

A few days later when I was home alone, my Mother being at work and my younger brother in school I begin to hear voices in the Condo, as well as the sounds of someone moving things around in my Mothers room. Of course when I went upstairs to investigate there was no one there nor any signs of anything being moved around.

A Night Full of Demons

This happened a few months ago, but it stands out a lot, because it is only one of two nights of my life that I remember my dreams being haunted by demons. To be clear I do believe in demons as real, even if they are popping up in dreams. People often take dreams as nothing but nonsense, and sometimes they are nonsense, but other times it seems clear that dreams feature real spirits. Only twice have I had nights full of demons, though – I have had many more experiences with positive entities.

So I was having a rough time and I was pretty shaken that a couple of days previously, two cop cars had pulled me over for a rolling stop at a stop sign, at the corner of the street I live on! Haunted Low Country Restaurant

I used to work for a restaurant in Georgetown, South Carolina that was extremely haunted. Growing up in the low country of SC, ghost stories are not something new by any means. The entire area of Pawley’s Island, Conway and Georgetown are riddled with hauntings and ghost stories. I have never experienced such a large concentration of paranormal activity as Georgetown. Georgetown has swampy wetlands scattered all over and I believe this helps concentrate all of the paranormal energy in its confines.

At the Italian restaurant I worked at, The Humble Crumb, I experienced hearing voices and sounds, things moving and being thrown and lights turning on and off. The restaurant was an old house that was lived in by a large family, it think it was a family of 12 and I believe its heyday was in the 20′s. Grandmother in Blue Dress

Years ago, my uncle told me a story of something that happened to him in our old house. I had had several strange experiences in this house which was locate just beyond the Pocomoke Forest. If you Google Pocomoke Forest in Maryland, you will come up with a lot of ghostly tales of it.

Anyway, my uncle was sleeping on the sofa one night. He had been drinking. He saw a woman in blue floating toward him. She was wearing a pretty blue dress, she was elderly and and had long gray hair. She was floating above him when he got up and she began floating toward the kitchen. Once in the kitchen, the back door swung open and he saw a little boy run across him and run behind the washer and dryer. Thinking that it was his younger brother, he yelled his name, but when he went to look, there was no one there.

I came online hoping to figure out what’s going on with our child. We left our other place after losing our son prematurely. The toys would go off, and our daughter who was only two at the time kept asking me to make him stop playing with her toys. She knew his name, even though we never told her I was pregnant or his name,

Be Careful What You Wish For

Ever since I was a little kid I’ve been obsessed (to a degree) with the paranormal. When I was younger it’d be my automatic reasoning that anything odd was the doing of ghosts. For example, three years ago my phone disappeared. I searched my whole room, taking everything off my bed, desk, etc.. In desperation I said to myself,”Please give me my phone back, I need it!” Then left the room to check our living room. Coming back, I went to fix my bed. Upon removing the blanket I’d tossed back on the bed, my phone was sitting right there. A chill crept up my spine and I just shook it off.
