Well I guess there’s no easy way of saying this, my house is haunted. No one else will believe me so I hope you will.
It all started when I was left home alone, on one cold November night. I was washing up some dishes before my parents got home when all of a sudden the dish that I was holding flew half way across the room into a wall. How could that happen? I began picking it up when a cold shiver shot down my back. I thought nothing of it, so I went back to work, on picking up the broken dish. I had gotten all picked up, and had finished the dishes, I shut off the light, and that’s when I heard it. “Katie”, that’s my name, but yet I was the only one in the house how could that possibly be?
Was I going insane? No that was for real. By now I was getting pretty freaked out, I began shouting leave me alone, when all of a sudden I heard “SHHHHHHHHHHHH” From across the room, I stopped dead in my tracks, not wanting to know who, or what just shhed me. I nearly jumped two feet in the air when there was a knock at the door. I slowly, but quietly, walked up to my door, I looked through the curtains, but no one was there.
I was slowly turning around when I heard the strange eerie knock once again, I looked through the curtains, and surely enough there was a tall man standing outside. I opened the door to find a tall man with a black trench coat, a black hat, and black work boots. I thought that maybe he wanted to talk to my dad, or he was looking for him. So I asked the man. He slowly turned his head towards me. He lifted his hat so I could see his eyes, that’s when I started to panic. His eyes were burning in my soul, they were big black orbs of death. Then the man started to laugh, and laugh hysterically, what was his problem? Then he turned to me once again, and smiled then disappeared into thin air.
Ever since that night, I’ve had terrible, unmentionable, dreams. Who was that guy? And why was he laughing as hard as he could towards me? Please if you’ve read this try and help me, I’m seriously freaked out. I don’t know if he’ll return. Will I be left alone again, or…. who knows, but please I need your help.

I have read somewhere, and I can’t remember where, that when there is no one there to knock and you open the door, you’re inviting the ghost in. I don’t know if that is true or not, but you never know. I do know that evil spirits/demons or whatever you want to call them do feed of fear. The more you fear it the stronger it will get.
Maybe try contacting a local paranormal investigator to see if they can find out what is going on in your home.

I did the same thing as you. several times I have heard knocks at my door, and no one is there. I heard a evil sinister voice and laughing also. I told it I rebut you evil spirit in the name of Jesus Christ.
What do you mean by black orbs of death. where the eyes with out eyeballs?
there was nothing in his eye sockets no eyeballs at all.
1st of all, I have to say your house is haunted. I am not sure if the man you saw is an evil spirit or a demon, but I have the feeling is nothing good. Yes, try not to be scared, tell it to go away in the name of Jesus. If things getting worse, the house needs to be blessed and you need to contact someone to help you out. Did you tell your parents about it? If I were you, I would and see what they would say. Do you still hear voices in the house?
I didn’t get the message the evil man tried to give you. I just know it is something bad. Still have faith in God and don’t be scared.
the voices are getting stronger, and meaner, if i tell my parents they’ll put me in a mental hospital. i truely am alone on this on.
Burn lavender. It’ll keep away evil spirits…no seriously. it will. it can buy time for a cleansing ritual. It can only work so long as it involves and you believe in higher loving power. It doesnt have to be jesus, just something you believe in, truly believe in. If you don’t know what, just remeber that out of the dark vastness of space you’re given life on some blue pebble every single minute, and who knows what’ll happen after you die, but something will happen, as I’m sure the black eyed man can tell you, you will have a consciousness.Yes you are loved enough to be given conciousness. Hi Katie,
When did this happen, and do you have very bad dreams every night? And what are they about? The entity at the door could just have been a very old, irritating, ghost. They like to frighten people because they feed off the energy. It seems strange to me that he stood outside the door when its seems he had already been inside the house chucking a plate around and giving you chills. That’s a very ghostly thing to do.
If you will answer my questions we’ll see what we can do about fixing the problem.

To start with .. you are not alone in this. It’s happening to other people too. Your parents really should be told. They might not believe it, but they can see how you are feeling and how much you must have changed since this haunting happened, and they will be wondering how they can help you, if they are good parents. They might be trying to ask you, and you might be pushing them away because you are frightened to share .. but being frightened is what the entity wants .. and I am sure your parents love you very much.
In the meantime, fear or not, here’s something that will help. You’ll find The Michael Invocation here //www.trueghosttales.com/questionsandanswers/the-michael-invocation/ read it through a few times and then say it out loud. You don’t have to shout, a normal voice will do. Say it three times clearly. Each time you’ll feel stronger as you do it. You can ask your parents to do it with you, or for you, too. You can ask them then to use it to clear your home. The information is on the site. It will change your energy and send that entity away. Then tell me how you are feeling, because I will be watching out for your message.

Very dramatic way of writing things .. makes me think you are laughing. If you were joking then I am sadly disappointed, because I take cases like yours very seriously .. because people do get haunted by idiotic ghosts – but no ghost can take you anywhere.

I keep asking her to post her comments here where people can see them (She is emailing me with 2 or 3 word messages repeatedly). And yes, a lot do post stories here with some questions. That was the reason I finally decided to add a new section specifically for questions. Its OK with me for stories to include questions.
The stories are good because then we at least get to see ‘some’ of what is happening for the people – otherwise I ask them to explain more and we end up with stories anyway.

you should talk to someone about this.have yoou talked to your parents?they might not believe you but you could always take pictures when you feel something around you.put a camera by the door and check it out every now and then.so some checking on the house.i dont know what to say,thats never happened to me i have heard stuff but not that.let us know what happens or what you do.thanks for the story.

I am VERY surprised no one on this forum has mentioned this/knows about this. This is EXTREMELY common. Katie-what you saw was the black eyed people. They are very common all over the world. What they do is come to a place of ownership or dwelling such as a house, apartment, or car, and asked to be let in. Apparently, they cannot come in unless you explicitly state that they may do so, so don’t worry. Many people feel an immense and immediate sense of dread and fear for their life when they meet these black eyed beings. Many report that the black eyed people will first ask to be let inside, quietly and monotone, but when you don’t let them in they start to get very angry and frustrated and demanding. Many say that they felt the need to look away from their eyes, almost like if you kept looking that they would hypnotize you or “take your soul”. The eyes have no white, no pupil, and are completely black from corner to corner. They are almost always dressed like you stated, but usually they pose as children, mostly young boys aged 12-17 in need of help (As people are more likely to let in a complete stranger if it’s a child, instead of a full grown weird man) They are also able to visit you in dreams, which alludes to the fact that they are some kind of interdimensional creature or being. Some say they’re demons, others think they’re vampires because they can’t come in without an invitation. I will post some links to stories of the Black Eyed people below. This is very common, you are NOT alone, don’t worry. As long as you don’t let them inside, you will be fine.

I was quite impressed that you would even answer the door. I’m such a baby that I won’t answer the door AT ALL when I’m by myself – even if it’s in the middle of the day! I run into a side room and check through the window to see if it’s someone I know before opening the door. If it’s not, that door stays locked and closed.
