Haunted Hotel in Toronto

This was one year ago.

When I was in grade seven, my class went to Toronto for a week. We stayed in a hotel (sorry but the names foggy).

On the first night I was in a light sleep when I heard a screech as loud as a plane right in my ear but when I woke up nothing was there except my three sleeping roommates. I tried to go back to sleep but I heard heavy breathing coming from the bathroom. I finally got so tired that I fell asleep.

This happened to be at 3:00 am which no joke is known as the “devils hour” where I live.

The next day I told my friends, which of course didn’t believe me. When we were going to the mall I fell asleep on the bus and had the most frightening dream of my life. I was at the door of the bathroom in my room. In the bathroom there …

Haunted Hampton Inn Chicago Crestwood

During mid January 2011 I traveled from Detroit to Chicago to work on some machinery at a local plant. On the second day of my trip I wrapped up at the plant and couldn’t wait to get back to my hotel: the Hampton inn Crestwood on Cicero Ave.

Upon arrival and watching television I turned off the lights and laid on my side waiting to drift off to sleep. Immediately after closing my eyes, I felt as though I was not alone or someone was watching me. I rotated my head to the left and saw something extremely dark waving in front of my eyes. After lifting my head up a little to get a better look I realized that it was not the blankets waving or anything.

I quickly rolled completely over to the left and I saw a dark mass quickly back away but remain beside the bed.

The mass was only about three or for feet higher …

Hauntings in Boringdon Hall Near Plymouth

My daughter was married at Boringdon Hall near Plymouth a few days before Christmas just gone.

I myself stayed in room 17 with another family member. I have stayed in many haunted places within Devon and Cornwall… in fact I have lost count of the number of times we have stayed in room 5 at Jamaica Inn in Cornwall.

However, the night of December 21st 2010 at Boringdon was unreal… we had lights flying around the room, ice cold areas, shadows, and the final thing to send us running were grunting sounds from “within” the room. You would have to see the room to understand that the sounds came only from that room.

We ran down to reception at 1:40 am saying there was no way we could stay a moment longer in the room, we left everything even the lights on and the door open… the man at reception gave us the keys to a room in the newer …

Our Strange Occurrences at the Crescent Hotel

My friend and I stayed this past weekend in room 213. We had several things happen while we were there. Odd things that occurred and left us believing for sure that there is some type of paranormal activity that resides at the Crescent.

The first thing we had happen – We were ready to leave for town, or a little shopping – this was on October 1st. I had laid my camera beside my purse on the bed. I had go to the rest room, my friend was in the other bathroom area putting on her makeup. After I came out I asked her where my camera was. We both were looking for it only to find it was laying on top of my suitcase rocking back and forth about to fall off, it was barely even on the suit case. It shocked us both and made chill bumps go on our arms, we took numerous pictures of it.

Then …

The Stanley Colorado Trip

So my birthday was coming up and it was spring break for me. My mom wanted to go to somewhere warm and beachy, but I disagreed and we ended up going to Estes Park, Colorado, in the heart of the rocky mountains. I have wanted to be a ghost hunter for a while, and I watch all of the paranormal shows, and I heard of The Stanley Hotel, and I pleaded to go there, future career right?

So there are so many stories and tales at the Stanley, and it was amazing. When we got there I gasped in pure awe, it was the most beautiful place I have ever been! It looked kind of run-down outside, but inside was fully furnished and everything was working as if it were a new and improved hotel of 2010. We took the ghost tour, and I learned a ton, and I’m truly thankful for that. Guess what! If you have ever visited …

Falstaff Hotel in Canterbury

My family have experienced all sorts of things when they were younger, and I seemed to have inherited a sort of “sensitive” gene. For example my dad saw his mum after she died, and his dad saw his grandmother after she died, and Mum and I have experienced feelings of being followed or watched etc.

But this is my story. I was born in England and then moved to Australia. My grandparents and uncles, aunts and cousins live in England still so we traveled back to visit them. We decided to stay in the Falstaff hotel in Canterbury which seemed really nice at the time.

My mum and I were really tired so we decided to watch TV in our room. Mum had dropped off to sleep and I was still watching TV. I suddenly got really tired and turned off the TV and got ready for bed. As soon as I laid my head on the pillow, something said …

Ghost at Macomber Hotel Cape May

It all started with a tour of the Macomber Hotel in Cape May. The tour guide had said that room 10 was haunted, and that many odd sightings occurred. My Aunt Teresa and Aunt Ruthie were in that room! We were a few doors down! Since I was really little, I can’t remember how I felt. Did I even know what a ghost was? I probably didn’t care.

Anyway, nighttime soon came. An old lady died in the hotel, so… I climbed in bed with my mom, being about two years old. I woke up in the middle of the night feeling a strange presence. I sat up in bed, and saw it – a white ghost, with honestly no shape at all, white yet transparent, black, deep eye sockets, and its mouth open in an oval shape. It was just sitting at the end of my bed, looking sad and very depressed – the old lady! Since I was …

Shields Tavern Ghost Walk in Colonial Williamsburg

This happened in September of 2009, in Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia. I was there on vacation with my sister, my Nana, and my papaw.

We were buying our tickets for the day when I noticed a flier for the Tavern Ghost walk. My Nana asked if I wanted to go to it and I said yes. My sister didn’t want to go so my papaw and my sister went back to a hotel. My Nana and I stayed. We walked to the meeting place, in front of Shields Tavern. Our tour guide led us to different places along the street. There was this story of a girl who got run over by a carriage and died on that street we were walking on. The tour guide was carrying a little lantern with a candle inside it, and she asked me to carry it. I said yes, and walked beside her. My Nana was about nine feet behind us and decided that …

A Visit to Charleston’s Theatre

I was about ten at the time, and my family had went down to Charleston, South Carolina. It was about midnight on Halloween, and our Aunt had been studying the hauntings of Charleston. So she took us by a nearby theatre that was under renovations. It used to be an old hotel.(I cannot remember the name at this point) Our Aunt said, before we even came to the street it was on, that when you passed by the ‘hotel’, you could smell cheap lilac perfume or burning tobacco. The hotel was right in front of a small graveyard, and residents say that when you passed by the building at night, you can see the figure of a lady looking out one of the windows. I still get the chills from this experience.

As we passed by the hotel, I swore, and so did my father, mother,Aunt, and brother, that I smelled perfume. We smelled no tobacco. I looked in all …

The Baker Hotel Mineral Wells Texas

In 2005 my 16 year old sister introduced me to the Baker Hotel.  I am a practicing Wiccan and have been for several years.  I am sensitive to other on the other side. The Baker is on private property, at the time it was wide open and my sister, my husband and I decided to explore this supposed to be haunted hotel.  The Baker was vacant since 1972.  It was built in the 1920′s.  It was a very popular spa & resort for many many years.

On our adventure we collected three candles, three flashlights and three bottles of water. Once we entered the hotel we found ourselves in this massive ball room.  There was a small stage in the corner.  I set my plastic bag with our items on the stage.  I removed three white candles and placed them inside a circle that the three of us had made sitting on the floor. Ironically enough none of us had …

I Think I Saw a Ghost That Night

Four years ago I was spending a large part of the summer traveling through Europe. I spent two days in Verdun, France, touring the World War I battle sites. I was staying in a hotel that occupied a very old building, one that was certainly there before the 1914 -18 war. I was in a room on the top floor of a three story building with a window face eastwards, toward the battlefield.

The bed was situated by the entrance to the room, with the foot of the bed in the direction of the window. When lying on my back, with my head on the pillow, I was actually facing the window.

The second night in that room, I went to bed around 10:30 and fell asleep quickly, but something woke me up a couple of hours later. I had a few seconds of that state in which you are awake, but are not fully aware of the fact that …

Mokelumne Hill in Northern California

Quaint, Quiet, Questioning ~ and Full of Disgruntled and Party Ghosts

Gold Rush Ghosts International Paranormal Investigations was invited to have another exciting adventure in Mokelumne Hill recently, and it, as always, proved fruitful.   As the Celebrities Psychic I was delighted to be invited back again to be on hand to lead the way, and I wanted to share it with you, take you back in time, and bring you up to the present.   We have been exploring this haunted town for over twenty years.  Ghosts that have been seen in town for years continue to remain, other rack up as time passes, and everything in this town clearly gears you toward spooky moments and goose-bumps.  Even for us that have done this for many years.

If you are interested in visiting a small, unassuming, off the beaten path community of maybe 2,000 people pretty much untouched by time with ghosts a‘plenty, Mokelumne Hill is just what you are looking …
