Ghostly Confederate Riders in West Virginia

I was about 10 years old when this happened im 14 years old now. I was at my aunt’s ranch in Huntington, West Virginia. Me, my brother and our cousins decided to go horseback riding. We went on a trail that was supposedly haunted. As we got to the beginning of the trail fog started appearing and it was a perfectly clear day. My brother and cousins got scared and didn’t want to ride on the trail.

I took the horse onto the trail which was surrounded by woods and tombstones. i kept hearing hoof beats behind me that were not my horses. I turned around and saw four what appeared to be confederate soldiers. One of them called my name then i started freaking out. I rode the horse at an increasingly fast gallop they were keeping up with me so i veered the horse off the trail to try to ditch them.

Another one caught me by my …

John Tucker the Demon and other Ouija Board Summons

This is my two stories, but it doesn’t matter if you believe in it or not, it won’t effect my memory. I know what I saw, and my opinion won’t change at all.

Here is my first story, I had to include it to tell the second.

My relatives fought in the Revolutionary War, against Britain. My great great great great uncle’s name was John Tucker. He was… a little bit crazy from the war. He survived the war, and soon came home. His mental status was noticed instantly. He would talk to random people (Ghosts maybe?). According to family stories, one of his nephews took him out back with him. He grabbed out of his jacket a pistol his parents never knew about.  He shot John Tucker in the forehead and he collapsed to the ground. His nephew had this all planned out, and reached in John’s head and got some blood on his hand. He then splattered it …

Ghost in Photo on Australia Grave Stone?

I was taking a photo of my grandfathers grave (W.M. Towell) recently in Brisbane Queensland, Australia. A friend was looking at the photo and inquired how old the grave to the left of my grandparents grave was.

When I zoomed the photo in I immediately saw a woman’s face looking back from the centre of the gravestone. After looking for a while longer not really believing what I was seeing I noticed to the top left of the headstone is what appears to three Australian Soldiers wearing their army Slouch Hats. On the right hand side of the headstone is what appears to be a young women with maybe flowers in her hair.

I hope to hear back on what your opinion is on what I have captured in this picture.

Lovers Lost

I was out with my dog one Tuesday, late evening, roughly twilight, (Also, my dog is called Lucky, she’s a Shiba Inu puppy, for those who are interested) but while she was sniffing round a tree she got all scared and ran behind me, hiding behind my legs. At first I laughed and thought she was just playing, because she’s never scared of anything, but when I turned round she started barking and ran off behind a nearby parked car and she wouldn’t come out no matter what I tried.

I went over to the tree to see if it was a cat or something that had spooked her, see if I could chase it away, but I was met by two bright green eyes. There was a figure, a teenage boy, staring right at me, leaning against the tree. To say I was startled was an understatement, and I was about to run when he reached towards me, clearly …

13 Dead World War II Children

When I was 11, I used to go ghost hunting with my friend behind a sports centre (with sound proof walls)after Drama. We did it regularly after she heard laughter of children when she was the only person there. I went there with her, and we listened intently for voices, laughter or perhaps a cold wind. The first time I was extremely scared, but we saw more. I heard a creaking door and children laughing. I heard the whistle of something. I ran and I took one last glance and saw a silhouette of a man with only half an arm and with crutches gliding towards us. Luckily it was near a main road, so I felt safer after that.

The next time I saw a little less, perhaps because I was less scared. But we heard different things – the voice of a mother saying, “Come in now, its nearly time for blackouts!” After I heard that I had …

Civil War Ghosts The Soldier And The Farmer

The year was 2001 when it happened.  I remember it well.  My aunt, before moving to another home in the month that followed, she lived in a home you wouldn’t think haunted.  Set on a small hill neighborhood in an area outer Hendersonville Tennessee, its age I would guess it would be about 25-35 years of age, so it was nicely aged; kept up, wooden flooring throughout the house, a nice basement surrounded by sturdy foundations with an overall lived-in homey feeling that anyone would enjoy.

However you saw this home, you wouldn’t expect it to be haunted by spirits.  In fact, the thought would not even cross your mind.  It never did mine.  On the night when it all started, I had only been there a few nights into visiting her and my family.  I was laying on the couch, by my choice because I love softy cushy couches (Lucky for me it was just that), almost into a …
