Waking Up Scared

Growing up, I experienced many instances of sleep paralysis. I guess I thought it was normal, because I haven’t thought about it in a very long time. After reading about the instances here, I realized that I’ve definitely experienced sleep paralysis.

From the time I was very young, I would wake up at least once or twice a month in a state of extreme fear, unable to move. Most of the time I would wake up and even though I couldn’t open my eyes, I knew that I wasn’t alone in my room. I could feel the presence of something so evil and THERE that it’s presence was a physical thing. My heart would be beating fast and my eyes would be trying to open, but I couldn’t open them no matter how hard I tried.

Banging on the Door and My Ghostly Encounters

First I’d like to say that this is 100 percent true and I still am so creeped out about this.

A few nights ago I was in my room getting ready for bed and I heard a loud bang on my door like someone was trying to bang my door down. I opened the door and there was no one there, so I went down the hall and looked in my brothers room but they were sound asleep, then I asked my parents (which were in the living room which was very far away from my room.) and asked if they were trying to get into my room and they said no they were watching TV the whole time so I went to my room yet again to get ready for bed.

Black Demon?

I come from a family of 8 and I’m the only one who has experienced these type of things.. I’ve had weird things happen to me starting from when I was about 8 years old. I’d wake up in the middle of night with this dark cloudy thing hovering over me, I can remember feeling very uncomfortable and it’d be hard to breathe. I’d always try to get up but couldn’t cause I felt like I was being forced down and I couldn’t move at all, it was like this really heavy pressure on top of me. And for some reason I couldn’t speak either cause I’d always try to yell to my sister across my bedroom for help, but nothing would come out. It would eventually leave me.

I am actually telling this story for my cousin and brother. They are both completely real because neither of these people would lie to our family about stuff like this.

To begin, my cousin lived in the house her father had built just 3 years prior to seeing whatever she saw. Tormented By a Very Violent Ghost

Hi there. Firstly, I know there are hundreds and thousands of ghost stories on the internet, some made up, some real. Mine is most definitely real. Its horrible, I hate it so much, I have thought about suicide. My house is haunted, actually, I am haunted, no one else seems to experience these things except me.

I have already contacted 2 paranormal investigation teams, but my parents wont allow them to come to the house, they don’t even believe that what I am experiencing is real, they have sent me to 3 therapists in the last 5 months to try and see what’s wrong with me. About two years ago I was pregnant with my first baby. And of course I was excited about my pregnancy me and my husband had tried for awhile and I was so ready to become a mommy! But anyways, it had been a really long night for me I was tired like most pregnant women are so I thought I would call it a night.

Weird Dream and Other Stuff

The first thing I’m going to tell is a dream I had when I was a kid. I had this dream almost every night as far back as I can remember, and ’till I was about 8 or 9.

The dream takes place in an old wooded house or cottage out in the woods. The light is really red, like it’s warm or something. In this house/cottage there lives a woman who is pregnant, looks like the last trimester. She lives alone as far as I can remember. She went to bed as normal, but when she wakes up her baby is cut out of her stomach. By this point I am the lady. She cries, and all of a sudden what feels like a bloody finger is poking my back, always at the same place. This makes me wake up, look around the room, no one there.

College for Creative Studies Haunted Dorms

The College for Creative Studies is an art school in Detroit, Michigan. The school and the dormitory, known as the Art Center Building (ACB) was purchased in 1906. There have always been rumors about the dorms being haunted, as the building was originally a hotel and is over one hundred years old.

Rumor has it that when the building was a hotel there was a family from Queens, New York staying in room 204. The family consisted of five members. The daughter was the oldest, fifteen, accompanied by two younger brothers who were five and 18 months old. They were supposedly staying in Detroit because the daughter was to meet her future husband. It was an arranged marriage.

Some Thing Walking Up and Down the Stairs

I was about 17 and living with my girlfriend and her family. Her parents got divorced so we moved to a new house. At first it was just the everyday feelings of moving into a new house. New noises and feelings that you chalk up to an old house.

Our bedroom was upstairs at the end of a long hallway. All of sudden the hallway was very creepy. It felt as if someone or something was right on your heels when you walked the hall, day or night. The feeling never followed into our bedroom. Just the hall.

Headless Apparition in Southern India

This began almost 3 years back when I and my friend visited their family house in a remote village in southern India. It was a big house and had a back yard had a barn, a dog/cattle-shed, a small well and some 2500sq feet of open space. But there was something strange about it.

His grandfather would lock up the only gate to the backyard as the sun went down and will now open or allow anyone else to enter the backyard before the sun was well up. Who Was Stroking My Hair?

My story is rather short and not super scary but it scared me when it happened. I can’t remember how old I was… I was either 7, 8, or 9. Anyways, my encounter happened at my old house where my bedroom was in the basement. So, this is what happened…

In the morning around 5:30 or 6:00 I woke up to someone stroking my hair behind my ear over and over. I couldn’t see who was doing it because I was on my side facing the wall my bed was against. And also, who ever was stroking my hair was also singing a song that had the same calm tone as if you were singing a lullaby. I couldn’t understand the words of the song because they sounded as if the were mumbled but yet the song sounded clear… it is really hard to explain.
