As I mentioned in another post, Alicia Comes for Lunch, interesting things always happen to me at this time of year. This one isn’t scary, just eerie.

My grandfather died in 1967 and my grandmother in 1976. No one in the family had gone to their grave site since then. It wasn’t that we didn’t care, we just weren’t the type of people to visit graves. But I got curious and wanted to see where they were buried, but I couldn’t remember where the cemetery was. Strangely, no one in the family could remember either – each one thought it was a different cemetery. I was in Washington, D.C., which has many well known large cemeteries. My father thought they were buried in Mt. Olivet. My mother said it was Congressional Cemetery, my Uncle said no, it was Rock Creek Cemetery. Other relatives just didn’t remember. Dead People in Our Apartment

My family and I moved into a neighborhood which had some recently renovated apartment buildings. Before the renovation the apartments were large projects that had lots of crimes, drugs, murders. They were beautiful now and we had a large 4 bedroom with 2 baths, a long hallway, large living room, dining and kitchen. We lived up stairs. By the way, this was in the 80s. Back during that time there were child murders happening in Atlanta, so people were very aware and scared for our children.

After living there for a while, I can’t recall how long strange things started happening. We have 4 kids at home, one was our 3 yr old daughter, 3 older sons. We would sit in the living room watch TV, all lights off if it was good movie. I sat on the couch facing the long hallway and saw something from the corner of my eye. The Boogeyman

I stared up at the old grayish blue building. This edifice from my childhood memory that stood off on a cement parking lot with gravel pushed up to the very sidewalks I ran across so long ago. This old broken down palace that seems to immobilized time as the old oak tree behind the back sways its branches. I can see the orange yellowed leaves fall gracefully to the ground like an autumn song that plays without the hum of melody. Somehow it all look smaller then how I would had imagined it those days in the past.
Everywhere around the neighborhood there shoot green grassed lawns and nice shady tree. Everything that would make it as though one has driven into a secluded secret suburb. But this mangy lot of stones and pebbles is like a dark tower that stood over the whole street. Gray shadows hovering over the sky while sunshine penetrated all else. I finally found it. …

House on Highway 603 in Napavine Washington

As long as I can remember I have had paranormal experiences. Me and my sister were always “followed”. My family moved into a house on Highway 603 in Napavine, Washington. It wasn’t old it was built in the late 70′s and my parents were renting from a Guy that received the house in his fathers estate.  My sister had picked out her bedroom  and so it left me with the one next to hers and my parents of course got the master down the hall.

I slept in the room soundly for at least two weeks, but then I started waking up frequently and hearing noises, feeling as if someone was watching me, and cold touches to my legs and arms. My Imaginary Friends Might Be Angels And Demons!

When I made my first imaginary friend I was about ten years old (I think her name was Jane). She would hang around with one of her friends. Jane had dark long brown hair with green eyes without glow and she wore a long sleeved white dress with a light blue ribbon tied around her waist. Jane looked like an angel, but her other friend had nearly the same looks as Jane she had long darkish brown hair (Almost black), and she had dark blue eyes without glow, she also wore a long sleeved white dress only with a yellow ribbon tied around her waist. So I didn’t want to be Jane’s friend anymore, maybe because of jealousy. So Jane and her “friend” left me, my friends and my family alone and left the house.

The Prince House

First of all I have to give some back-story. I’ve grown up and still live in a house that is not far from a historic village.

Well really it’s a park but anyways. One of the first houses inside the village is a house called “The Prince House”. As the story goes a rich prince decided to build this home for his wife and unborn child. Construction wasn’t complete yet when his wife went into labor and gave birth in the house later on. A week or so later both her and the newborn fell ill and both soon died.

The prince finished construction and lived there despite his grief but he too soon fell ill and left for his home country.

Learning the Truth About the Shadows

About four months after my father died, my mum moved us back to Louisiana. From the time I was two months old until a few months before my fifth birthday, I grew up living with my mum and grandparents. Doesn’t sound so strange yet, right? I only wish.

When I was four, I woke up from a dead sleep. I had no clue who or what had woken me up, but when I looked towards the door I could see what I thought was a man. Even now, I can still remember exactly what I saw: a tall, masculine shaped silhouette, wearing what looked like a black cape and fedora. The person looked almost as though he was peering around the doorway to see what was in the room. For some reason, I wasn’t scared and almost felt like he was smiling at me. Encounters with Ghosts and Orbs

My name is Luci and I’m 13. Ever since I was about eight I’ve had a feeling that I’m being followed by some sort of Spirit or Ghost. I don’t think it poses any harm to me, but I wish it would leave me alone!

My first encounter with this ghost was when I was eight or nine. I was laying in my bed and in the corner of my room I saw three of four balls of light glide past. This really freaked me out and I hid under my duvet. This stopped for about 3 years until I was 12. It all started again, but instead of 2 or 3 ‘orbs’ about 20 glide past. Some even glide towards me.

This has now stopped but I sometimes see a posh Victorian man walk across the landing. He wears a long cape and a top hat. I also see him outside, walking towards my house. I only ever see …

My first experience happened when I was a senior in high school, 13 years ago. There was an abandoned house not far off the road in a very desolate area at the time. It was one of those dare type things to go to this house and see if you could see anything and not be scared, so 2 of my friends and myself went on a Friday night.

When we pulled up to the house, I immediately had this feeling of hatred and dread and neither one of them felt anything. We go inside and it’s all dusty and cobwebby, and then there was the staircase where supposedly things happen. I went up first and when I got to the landing at the end of the hall there was a black shadow figure and it began running towards me and I could feel such hatred from this entity. Sleep Paralysis and a Demon

I experienced sleep paralysis for the first time early this year and I hope it will be my last.

Shortly before moving into a new house I was sleeping one night and I woke up in the new house that we were moving into. I was lying in a bed in a room and everything was all dark and I was totally paralyzed. Even though I couldn’t see a thing I somehow knew an evil entity was in the room with me. Then my body began shaking violently and this went on for a while. This was really horrible.

I was terrified I didn’t know what was going on and what was harming me. I felt like I had this sixth sense that could read the evil entities mind and I knew it wasn’t going ‘kill’ me but It …

The House Next Door

I’ve been on this site a bunch of times, reading all the great experiences is just so interesting. I’ve been mustering up the courage to tell my story. Not that it’s really scary or anything.

This happened about 20 years ago, I was about 10 years old. My parents live in a house in a neighborhood that was built around 1930-1940. I’ve never experienced anything in their home, but the house next door was another story. We had some friends around the same age as me and my brother. And we would play over there a lot and sometimes spend the night.

One day the parents decided to get rid of this tree in their back yard. Nasty looking tree really, dark colored bark, but I can’t tell you what kind of tree it is. I could see why they wanted to get rid of it. They started by cutting the branches, as soon as they did that weird things …

Crying Ghost in the Grave Yard

A few days ago I submitted a story called Angry ghost in the strip club… so I thought I may as well share some more of my recent paranormal experiences. This one is quite recent it happened about a month ago.

I had just finished work it was about 3 am by the time I got out of there. After saying my goodbyes I decided to start walking home. Normally the walk would take about 60 minutes but if I cut through the local graveyard it cuts around 20 minutes off the walk. Having done this numerous times during the day I had no real hesitation at first but after about 5 minutes I had that feeling I was not welcome here so I started walking faster just trying to ignore the feeling.
