I have 3 stories to tell…
(1) When I was two I lived in Missouri. I used to see black shadows float above my bed and when I was 6 I saw a white figure walk from my grandmas bedroom to my mom and dads room.
(2) Ever since I was four I have been having trouble sleeping. I would wake up but I couldn’t open my eyes. I couldn’t breathe. I felt like something was laying on my chest. I couldn’t yell for my mom or dad, every time I tried I would hear demonic growling.
(3) I always have weird dreams. One dream was about a little girl playing piano. I went to tell her she plays good and she turned around her whole face was burnt off. And the other dream I had was of a man in his 40′s asking me to help him find his daughter.
Is there any reasons for all this? Why do …

I’m writing about a noise that I have recorded on my iPhone through an application that monitors sleep disturbances and patterns during the night.
It records any disturbing noises such as sleep talking, shuffling etc.
Anyway so I recorded it last night (4/09/2011) and there were about 83 noise disturbances, most of them it was just me making weird noises like deep breathes etc. however I came across one that is really scaring my sister, dad and I.
I live with my youngest sister, mother and father at home.
Anyway, the noise sounded like a growling demon, or something non natural making a noise. It is a really weird noise that makes you question what it is… The only way to describe it, it the noise of demonic presence or something supernatural.
It was definitely not a car because the sound ended quite quickly. And the sound of a car going past usually is a longer, extending sound.
Anyway, I’m …

OK, this is the absolute most malevolent occurrence I’ve ever experienced. I have been witness to literally hundreds of paranormal events in my life. No I’m not talking about things being misplaced or I could have sworn I left such and such on that table. Things that fly across the room. Absolutely zero interpretation need be applied. When they are active they make believers real fast out of people who swear the contrary.
Get ready, just the story alone here still creeps me out. And I was there. Keep in mind that the majority of my experiences were basically benevolent. Not this one.
We have a farm in Palestine, Texas. I was sleeping in the bed with my current wife. When all of a sudden I was awakened and I could swear there was someone standing at the foot of the bed. I was groggy and thought my eyes weren’t focusing right but the truth it it was a shadowy …

I have had four encounters with what the doctor says is Sleep Paralysis.
It all started last year when I woke early hours in the morning with the feeling of not being able to move, not scream, eyes wouldn’t open fully only slightly and when they did open I saw a black cloaked figure who sat on top of my body pulling something from my chest. Shutting my eyes again trying to scream and when my eyes opened once more it vanished.
This happened a further three times all between 4 – 5 am but the fourth time was different, this time when I opened my eyes there were two dark figures that I could see through corner of my eye; one on top of my chest another at the side of my bed. This time I fought. I tried screaming harder than ever before and I managed to wriggle and fight it off me and kick it then …

Growing up, I experienced many instances of sleep paralysis. I guess I thought it was normal, because I haven’t thought about it in a very long time. After reading about the instances here, I realized that I’ve definitely experienced sleep paralysis.
From the time I was very young, I would wake up at least once or twice a month in a state of extreme fear, unable to move. Most of the time I would wake up and even though I couldn’t open my eyes, I knew that I wasn’t alone in my room. I could feel the presence of something so evil and THERE that it’s presence was a physical thing. My heart would be beating fast and my eyes would be trying to open, but I couldn’t open them no matter how hard I tried.
Somehow, even though I couldn’t see, I could still “see” my room and the shadows that surrounded my bed. I could see something that …

About two years ago I was pregnant with my first baby. And of course I was excited about my pregnancy me and my husband had tried for awhile and I was so ready to become a mommy! But anyways, it had been a really long night for me I was tired like most pregnant women are so I thought I would call it a night.
Later on I remember having a dream I was running and something was trying to take my baby! I was screaming and kicking and saying I’m her mommy I’m her mommy! Then all of the sudden my eyes shot open and I couldn’t move and I could feel my heart beat like I had just ran a mile.
I couldn’t keep my eyes off of my bathroom door which was on my side of the bed I had an awful feeling about it I felt something was in there and I didn’t want to know …

Okay, so I have a story and its been a very long time since I’ve told anybody about this story, and I still remember it as if it happened last month, but I thought I’d submit it to this website because a lot of these stories seems sincere.
I don’t remember how this all quite started all I know is that I had been seeing a shadow when I was living with my dad and step mother at the time. It begins when I was living with my dad, brother, step sister, and step mother at the time in one of our apartments, it all began with little things like, stuff moving from one place to another without any recollection of us moving it,to finding our stuff in odd places where they were usually never placed, then it went on to things moving in the night like plates and bowls sounding as if they were being shifted inside the cabinets.…

I first experienced sleep paralysis a few years ago and found it very scary.
I was aware of electrical pulses, a bit like in the film Ghost when people walk through Patrick Swayze, like that sound. I felt like some thing had entered my body or passed through it, this is usually how my sleep paralysis begins.
This time I went to bed and was aware of my ice skating twirling dream and the fact I could not move. I was awake and it took me ages to be able to call for help. I felt like I could not breathe. My partner calmed me down and I fell right back into deep REM sleep and it happened again.
The third time that night it happened I saw a port hole with the power of a hurricane sucking me in, I decided to blow to counteract it though it was more powerful than me, this is when I returned to …

Okay, it’s not that I haven’t considered it. I have. I do believe in sleep paralysis. Just a plain old ordinary condition… nothing special. But you couldn’t understand. Not unless you lived through it. Everything is vividly real. It is terrifying. Reading about it, and experiencing it are not the same thing.
Some of the things that people have experienced cannot be explained away by those symptoms. Such as the auditory hallucinations. (those admittedly could be explained away by nightmares) And I know, that all the experiences are similar, which seems to indicate a common disease. However, I’ve felt sensations. Such as I was moving, and groping around in the darks, and I could feel things. Like my nightstand etc. And it wasn’t like other dreams, when you “feel” something. It felt like I was actually there.
Now, I’m not trying to convince you that these incidences actually occurred, but I am describing them to you, so that you might …

I’ve only ever encountered this only one time when I was 18 years old. One thing I can’t do is figure out whether this was psychological or supernatural.
The day preceding this encounter I watched 8mm with Nicholas Cage and was obsessed with horror movies at this point in time and I do remember talking about horror films with friends at College that day.
Anyway that night I remember I dreamt I was talking with a man who devil like goatee and slicked back black hair and I asked him “Do you believe in God?” and he replied back “The devil is God” and then I woke up. I remember I was lying on my stomach and I tried to move and I couldn’t. It was like something was sitting on my back and putting unbelievable pressure on it. I couldn’t breathe and I certainly couldn’t speak. I tried calling out to my parents but nothing came out except the …
