Psychic or Just Crazy?

For years, I have had a strange feeling that I was different. Not just different, but scary different. When I was little, I lived in a house that was pretty old. Well, I had ‘imaginary friends’ until the day we moved out. I always had trouble making actual friends. Well, making friends wasn’t really the problem. It was keeping them.

One day, we packed up our stuff and moved to Texas. In Texas, we moved to this extremely creepy house. In the first night, I  was awoken by this thumping on the wall. I called for my grandma, but she was fast asleep.

So I sat there for about three hours, just listening. The thumping grew louder after the first few minutes. Then, this scratching was added. It was like things just kept adding on, and never stopped.

Haunted in Puerto Rico

Ok. Well my mother’s family and I are from Puerto Rico. We’re the only ones who left the island. Well my mother as well as all the women in the family have strange things happen to us.

When my aunt was born my grandmother saw a lady walk to my aunts crib everyday and just stand there and stare at her. My grandma had no idea what to do. So she went to her priest and asked what to do. He said that when she comes just continue to pray the rosary multiple times. So she did just that. She said that everyday the time got shorter and shorter and the visits came less and less.

As my aunt got older strange occurrences happened. She would wake up and lock the door jump on my mothers bed and choke her. Now that she is full grown she see spirits every night. They sit on the side of the bed or …

Three Disembodied Voices

Jeannette, our company president, was extremely dedicated to making the company profitable while keeping the employees happy. Unfortunately she died of cancer. About two months after her death, another employee and I were sitting in my office shooting the breeze when my phone rang. I answered and it was someone asking for Jeannette. I explained that she had died, and just as I hung up the phone, a garbled voice came from outside my door – “Sandy.” The other employee and I both heard it, and she got up to leave. I immediately walked her to my door, and when we looked out nobody was there. My instincts tell me it was Jeannette.

Our family lived in Cincinnati for three generations. However, upon reaching adulthood, I moved to San Diego and my brother, Barry, moved to Minnesota. My parents never left southern Ohio on vacation their entire lives (dad was in the Navy, but that certainly wasn’t a vacation).

Paranormally Frustrated Please Help part 2

Hi guys, for those of you who didn’t read my first story I had a lot of experiences in my small apartment and they all happened periodically. ( Paranormally Frustrated Please Help ) I really didn’t understand it and was hoping for more activity to happen. Well it did. And more than in my first story in such short time. The first experience was at night like around 3:00 on a Friday night. I had my laptop and was sitting on my brother’s bed which is right next to the curtains that separate my living room from me and my brother’s room. Ghostly Warnings or Not?

About 11 years ago, I moved into a nice condo in San Diego. The day I moved in, I was instructed to see the resident manager to sign a copy of the condo association rules and regulations. She was an elderly, very nice lady named Helen.

I am prone to hear sounds/words in my half awake/half asleep state (HAHA state) in the mornings. About three mornings after meeting Helen, I heard a woman’s voice in my ear say “Helen.”  Hmmm, I wondered, is my spirit referring to Helen, whom I just met?  About three mornings later, I heard the same woman’s voice say “murder.” Oh no!  Since it was the same voice and came so soon after I heard the name Helen, I connected the two and thought I was being warned that Helen was going to be murdered!

Camp Livingston Haunted Me

I’ve always seen spirits of some sort. I’ve always had powers. But I guess I never really understood myself until I met my ex-bestie, Sarah Thomas. She was Wiccan.

I was at the point in my life where I knew I wasn’t Christian, but I didn’t exactly know what I was. I believe in what I can’t see and I embrace the unknown rather than deny it. My experience, or happening, happened last year around I guess the end of spring. This takes place in central Louisiana.

Camp Livingston was many things to me, and it was 5 minutes down the road from my house. I was going to school for my G.E.D. and after school me and Sarah would go to Alexandria for Books-A-Million and Hot Topic. Well, one day I told her about Camp Livingston and she wanted to go because she, too, had heard stories about things that happened there.

Haunted House in San Diego

A friend and I rented a house in a nice neighborhood in San Diego, the houses appearing to be about 15 years old. Two weeks after moving in, she was out for the evening and I was in the living room alone watching TV. All of a sudden I heard what sounded like two or more people with huge, heavy sledgehammers hitting the outside brick wall of the kitchen over and over again with all of their might. My eyes got really big as I stood in the middle of the kitchen floor staring at the wall. There was a door half-way down the wall which led outside to the driveway, but I was glued to the spot and couldn’t move to turn on the outside light, and for some reason didn’t think to call 911.

I began wondering if perhaps I had been wrong and there were hoodlums in the neighborhood and they decided to scare their new neighbors …

Suicide and Strange Occurrence at Grandmothers

I am now mid 30s. When I was in my early twenties I lived with my mom and grandma. Mom took care of my grandma.  The house always felt creepy to me. My grandmas second husband died there and also her seconds husbands first wife. Grandma had many health problems like bad back and glaucoma. She was on Valium for like 10 years to help with back problems. She had a new doc. This doc took her off Valium and gave her Prozac. Then she had a cornea transplant shortly after that. She seemed sort of out of it after surgery and slept a lot for a week. We never knew anything was wrong. Mom came home from work at 10pm that night and grandma had shot herself through the heart in bed. I came home that same day about 5pm in between my two jobs and grandmas door was slightly open and I yelled bye when I ran in …

Ghostly Sense of Humor

My stories aren’t scary, but they do come from the paranormal realm so I hope you enjoy them anyway.

About six months ago, one afternoon I unplugged the headphones from my computer and forgot to plug them back in. After going to bed that night, I began hearing a pretty loud drngggggg (musical chord) coming from my computer in the other room every time a new email came in, and I get lots of spam overnight.  So I got up, and in the dark made my way into the other room. As I started to lean forward over the computer desk to reach the volume switch on the left speaker, about 6” in front of my face a man’s voice said “hello.”  It was a strange voice, because it sounded like it came from a full-grown man, but that he was only about 12” tall, so even though it was clear, it was small.  I stopped moving and backed up …

My Paranormal Childhood

I have been a believer of the paranormal since the age of three. Probably younger. I’ve been told stories of my toddler days of having an imaginary friend and being scared out of my wits by something unseen. Now at the age of 17, these are some of my stories of my rather interesting childhood.

When I was about two years old, I had what many probably had at that age: an imaginary friend. I called him Howard. My parents assumed it was normal, so they played along with my “broad imagination”. For example:  once my dad watching a football game. I walk into the family room and said, “Hey, Dad! What are you doing?” “Watching football, “he replied. I smiled and said, “Howard likes football, too. Don’t you, Howard?” My mom said that I smiled and looked at the upper corner of the ceiling as if somebody was up there. She still took it for play… But one day, …

Hell is Actually Real

This story will start off when I was a little kid. I always believed in God. But what happened would change my life for ever. I’ve been visited by demons for two years! Shadow figures, what I called them, would surround me when I’m in bed. I couldn’t move, their eyes glowed white, I felt fear like I never felt before! I couldn’t say a word, and when I made the tiniest noise, they stared at me, and sent fear to me.

Now believe me or not, the shadow figures lifted me up from my bed, silently, they were cold, and when they walked, they were fast. When we got to the door to outside, I would pass out, and I would wake up in the morning, nothing in sight, but I felt them. Same thing happened almost every night!

Vision of the Past?

I have always hoped to have a ghostly encounter. Mind you, I like to believe ghosts can’t harm me, even though many people here talk about dark experiences they have had.

I have had very few moments in my life where I thought perhaps something paranormal was occurring. This very short story is one of those moments.

I still am not convinced my eyes weren’t playing tricks on me, but it happened several years ago, and it always sticks in my mind as something surreal.

I was driving home late one night when I was in High School, probably about 13 years ago. I traveled frequently down this road that led through the older historic “Rich Neighborhoods” that had many old houses that have Texas Historic Markers. This street in question has many newer, more modern houses lining each side. It is very well lit, and nothing ominous about it.
