This is a account of the current hauntings in the Home I live in in the City of Chatsworth California. I moved into this house as a guest of some friends of mine and have been here for about 15 or so years.
Soon after I moved into the house I would hear footsteps at night when no one was awake or walking around. Having experienced this before I simply listened to see if it was one of the children or the Man whose home I was living in who at that time was a High School Math teacher. When I opened the door to my room I would see nothing. The footsteps always sounded as if they were walking on a linoleum or tiled floor but the floor in the hallway has a rug on it.
After hearing this for weeks I told my roommates what I was hearing at night. The Wife of my host told me that …

When I got out of the Army in 1979 I went back to California and temporarily moved in with my Mother in a Condo in the City of Stanton in Orange County.
From the very first day I knew there was something strange about the condo. First of all it just felt wrong. Secondly, the next morning, all the electricity was off in the house. When we went to the circuit breakers, they were all in the off position. My mother told me that this was happening to her on a regular basis.
A few days later when I was home alone, my Mother being at work and my younger brother in school I begin to hear voices in the Condo, as well as the sounds of someone moving things around in my Mothers room. Of course when I went upstairs to investigate there was no one there nor any signs of anything being moved around.
Things escalated quickly. My …

As my realtor Sahar and I drove up to the property at 1440 Bluejay Way, I couldn’t help but feel that something about the odd little house was familiar. Had I seen it before? When?
“This house is advertised in the MLS as needing a little TLC” Sahar remarked. TLC indeed – outwardly, the blocky and austere facade radiated all the charm and warmth of a mausoleum. On either side, houses stood vacant and lifeless, adding to the air of foreboding. It was an incongruous sight, for this was a newer neighborhood in a better end of town. What could possibly cause all the neighbors to pull up stakes, I wondered? No matter. On paper the place was a steal – certainly worth a look.
The fragment of yellow tape that fluttered from the doorway should have been a tip off. As we entered, it became clear that the entire place was in ruin. The darkened interior lent a chilling …

Well I live in Alhambra, California and I have my own little studio and there are ghosts.
One day I was laying down looking at my phone and in the corner of my eye a man in brown seemed old appeared in the corner of my eye and than a woman appeared in front of me floating and disappeared. I didn’t think anything of it but in the backhouse the people told me a woman ghost appeared and talked with a a girl for 3 minutes. Talk about scared! And she said a man appeared with her also trying to hurt her and the ghost was protecting her. Trippy.
I believed her because I saw the same thing and at times I see shadows walking on my wall but what’s really trippy is the voices. Ohhh yeah, try falling asleep and hearing a man and woman talking in both sides of the ear.
The woman sounds like an old wicked …

I rented a house with my Dad three years ago in Rosemead, California. It is not a old house(actually just remodeled), but ever since we lived there we feel uncomfortable when either of us stay home alone. Surprisingly we find out stuff about the house after we moved out, and that explain the story what I am going to share with you now.
First I have to say my grammar is not that good because I am an immigrant from Shanghai, China. So I will appreciate it if you don’t bothered by any mis-spellings or weird sentences.
The house has three bedrooms and one small restroom. Everything was remodeled, new painting, new wooden floor and new carpet. But one thing we don’t really like is each bedroom has two big new windows on two different sides which just installed. It was coldest winter I remembered for California and the windows are leaking cold air inside, so at night we have to …

Back in the late 1960′s (maybe early 70′s) my husband’s family got a good deal on a piece of property in Mountain View, California. The owner (as I understand it, an old Italian man whose wife had suddenly died) sold the large piece of property to my father-in-law for a ‘steal’. In the late 80′s my father-in-law decided he wanted to build three houses for his three kids and their families.
We built our homes and moved in in 1991. Immediately strange things started happening. Things would disappear and then suddenly reappear in strange places. It became so commonplace that I would say out loud, “ok, that’s funny. Now give (it) back to me”… and sure enough the item would almost immediately reappear in a spot that we had already checked on. You say to yourself that of course, even though you knew you had checked there, you MUST have missed the item. You make excuses and you question yourself.…

I use to work at Michaels Craft Store before it closed down in Montclair California. I was a manager there at the time, here is my ghost story.
One day before doors open for business, I was setting up a new end cap when I started to hear the women’s bathroom door slamming and water turning off and on, also the trash can was being tossed around against the walls. I ran upstairs as fast as I could to tell another manager what was going on, when she heard this she also told me that this place is haunted. We went to check it out, but nothing was disturbed.
Later that day, I was alone again when I heard my name whispered in my ear, it sounded like a man’s voice, I don’t remember jumping off that later.
Another time about 5 employees including me, were working the night shift. While I was standing with one other manager, we heard …

Back in 1994, I was living in sun valley California in a trailer park off of San Fernando Road. I suppose it all started when I fell asleep as a watched T.V at my friends house whom I lived next door to. I woke up suddenly as a voice in my head said get out. I remember the evil feeling I got from it and left right away. My friend had went to bed and left me sleeping there.
About two weeks later my friend and I where leaving my trailer to go get something to eat. As I waited for him to unlock his door to his truck, A voice that was very clear said to me, ” Waiting, waiting for you”. I had a strong sense of evil as the hairs stood up on my neck. The voice was very monotone. And it seem to come from everywhere at once. I seen my friend with a horrid look …

My name is Chuck Sanchez. I’ve been interested in the paranormal due to my experiences with seeing and hearing the unexplained starting when I was a child in my baby crib. I can remember theses things because they were very traumatic for me at the time. I have been interested in the paranormal ever since, however didn’t really get on the bandwagon with investigating the paranormal until around 15 years ago. In my search for answers regarding the afterlife, let’s start from the beginning with me and the life changing events that lead me to my interests in the paranormal.
When I was about a year old, I can still remember that I and my brother and parents lived in the city of Inglewood, California on Imperial hwy in a small apartment complex. It was a two bedroom apartment. I was asleep in a crib in the living room, it was around 3:00 am or so when I was awakened …

Well this is just one of my many paranormal experiences. I’m from California and I’m 16 and when I write this it is 2010. For as long as I can remember I’ve always had paranormal things happen to me and I believe that I get the ability to see, hear, and sense spirits from my father because he had many many paranormal things happen to him. But anyway here’s my story.
Fell when I was four I moved from San Jose, California to a tiny town two hours away. The house was nice, small but nice. It was the kind of suburban neighborhood where all the neighbors knew each other and respected one another. At the time when I moved in there were no children my age so I wasn’t social but I had a creative imagination or what I thought was my imagination.
I recall having an imaginary friend in my old home. I don’t remember all her features …
