For years, I have had a strange feeling that I was different. Not just different, but scary different. When I was little, I lived in a house that was pretty old. Well, I had ‘imaginary friends’ until the day we moved out. I always had trouble making actual friends. Well, making friends wasn’t really the problem. It was keeping them.
One day, we packed up our stuff and moved to Texas. In Texas, we moved to this extremely creepy house. In the first night, I was awoken by this thumping on the wall. I called for my grandma, but she was fast asleep.
So I sat there for about three hours, just listening. The thumping grew louder after the first few minutes. Then, this scratching was added. It was like things just kept adding on, and never stopped.
Then my grandma woke up and walked into my room. She asked me what I was doing awake. It was like she couldn’t hear the deafening noise. She told me to go to sleep. (It was about midnight.)
This went on every night for a year. At the end of the year, we decided to leave. Well, the night we were going to leave, I was packing some last minute things. I heard a thump behind me. I turned around and the window was slamming down. Up, down. Up, down. I got scared so I called for my grandma. It stopped as soon as she got close to walking in. She stood at the door, when the door slammed in her face, my all the way across the room. It locked her out, leaving, me alone.
I watched as all of my things floated in midair. I was screaming, but not just because I was scared. Because I was worried. I don’t know how, but I could sense that there was more than just us in that house.
It turns out that a year earlier, this paranormal investigator came and confirmed that she felt that my old house was a portal. I definitely believe her, because she described how she felt. It was the same as how I felt in that house.
Well now, there is this house on the corner that gives me this weird vibe. As far as I know, there has been no one that has gone out, nor in that house in years.
Everyone believes that its haunted. I believe it all the way. I once spent the night there. There was a woman in white. She was surrounded by a silver mist. I don’t think I was sleeping. So it is your opinion, am I psychic, or just plain crazy?
I have many people who think I am psychic. What do YOU think?

I think you are psychic. You put a lot of detail into your story and I dont think a crazy person would do that. Plus like you said a psychic had felt the same way you did.
how do you think your psychic?no offence.but reading your story it sounds like your awake through the whole thing,and stuff floating.but if i missed a part in the story let me know.i do believe you that stuff is happening.i dont think your crazy.thanks for the story.
sorry but i dont really think you are psycic, just very aware of your surroundings, anyone who pays enough attention would finally notice the things you describe, i think you are just naturally more aware than others, if this makes you psycic then i guess you could, but not in my opinion
well in my opinion you are just a lucky person who has had such a wonderful experience with spirits or just creatures from the outer world. you are so lucky to have noticed the beauty of things floating in air, and when the psychic confirmed your house to be a portal, you are so lucky you lived in a portal for a year of your life, between forces of the other world.
you may not agree but the spirits were happy with you living among them. they were giving you a signal the day you were leaving. that they were going to miss you. you were the only person from this world whom they could trust (since they didn’t show up when your grandma came in).
you are just lucky to have this experience. never forget it my friend.

I’d say you probably have a higher awareness, since you were able to hear “deafening” thumps and scratches when your grandma could not. The second experience was quite physical, and your grandma was effected as well, so I wouldn’t call that physic. Still, it must have been quite an extraordinary experience to witness all the objects in a room floating about, just thinking about all the different things that could have caused that is a mind trip. All in all, I think it’s up to you to decide if your psychic or not. If your experiencing things that most people don’t, but are not sure if that’s what being psychic is, you should talk to an actual psychic or try to find more information online or in books. You may find that what your sensing and seeing is actual psychic ability. By the story, I would say your not psychic, but definitely not crazy. If you’ve sensed and seen other things besides what is mentioned in the story, then there could be a chance that you are, and if you have other experiences, you should share them as well. Someone may be able to help you understand yourself and what’s going on a bit more.
