A couple years ago, when I started working in a restaurant in a hotel, I was engaged and had an ok life until we split up. After that I got together with a beautiful girl. After a couple of weeks I had been drinking and went home with another girl. Of course my girl was pissed and she dumped me. Only then I realized what an idiot I was.
Later that evening, I was very upset, and hoped for forgiveness. I prayed and prayed, crying on the floor, hoping for a sign, for more than an hour, I think.
A while later, I went to bed, and fell asleep very tired. I had a dream that night. In my dream I was still down on the floor, on my knees, crying, praying. And in front of me, in the dark, was a tall figure, all black. Had some kind of weird horns or something. And he told me ”Worship me. Worship me instead, and I’ll give you powers. You’ll even be able to bring back the dead. Pray to me.” But I kept saying no, and prayed to God.
The next day, I thought about it, and I believe, that the devil had heard my desperate cry for help, and had tried to seduce me, so he could feed on my soul or something…

It’s a good choice that you didn’t worship it. It may have sensed you desperation and tried to take advantage of it. Nothing good come from dealing with the devil. It will only seem good at the beginning, but you’ll only realize that you made a mistake when it’s already too late.
The reason why your girl dumped you was by your own doing. I believe the night when you went home with another woman was the time when the devil tempted you and unfortunately you fell for it. After he had successfully tempted you it now wants to fool you into worshipping it by trying to make you believe that you may be able to get back the woman you love.
Don’t give up hope just yet. God may have something even more instore for you.
K, I agree with the advice Buddy gave you. Remember, the devil is a LIAR and NO GOOD could come from you following and worshipping him! As for your girlfriend, keep praying to God, and if you two are meant to be together, then you will be again. If not, (like Buddy said) God may have other (better) plans for you. Just pray that GOD’S WILL be done in your life…because God doesn’t make mistakes. He just forgives us for our own. Peace to you, and God bless you! : )
I only recall the story of Job, as portrayed in the Old Testament in the Bible. It reveals how Lucifer/Sata thinks. It is also easy to see how God sometimes operates. God allowed Satan to really put Job to the test. In the end, Satan had lost the contest to a mere mortal. Job made some mistakes, and his so called “friends” really had a hand in attempting to drag Job down, into hopelessness, and finally death, even if they were unaware of how they were being used. Choose your friends carefully.
God prospered Job in the end. Job learned some lessons that he never would have, had God not chosen to allow the trials and tribulations. With all the evil around himself, Job still held onto God, and God did not forsake him. Evil trying to engulf you is not necessarily a sign that you are evil. Time and again, Satan goes out looking for those whom he may devour. Be vigilant.
