The first thing I’m going to tell is a dream I had when I was a kid. I had this dream almost every night as far back as I can remember, and ’till I was about 8 or 9.
The dream takes place in an old wooded house or cottage out in the woods. The light is really red, like it’s warm or something. In this cottage there lives a woman who is pregnant, looks like the last trimester. She lives alone as far as I can remember. In the dream she goes to bed as normal, but when she wakes up her baby is gone, cut out of her stomach. By this point I am the lady. I look around, cry, and all of a sudden, what feels like a bloody finger, is poking my back, always at the same place. This makes me wake up, look around the room, no one there. Even though I’m wide awake at …

First of all, I am 13. My dad died 6 years ago, and many close relatives followed. It all started on 12/24/2011, and I can remember some of the dream – yes, a dream… And this is hard to type in an empty room, on an iPod.
This is real. I have been abused in my life – I know of no childhood.
I “awoke” in a very light room – seriously, it was all like sunlight. I stood up, and looked around. I saw a cloaked figure in a corner, his cloak was a dark brownish. All I could see besides that were his eyes – yellow. He motioned to me, I followed out of curiosity. He (I believe its a he) said there were seven others like him, each burdened with finding their reincarnation – and guiding them. I listened well, and I woke up. 2:30 AM. I went back to sleep.
This time I saw him …

This happened to me and my family back in 1991. I kept a diary of all the things that happened in our house and I’ve begun writing them in a collection of short stories. I’m just curious if this has happened to anyone else or if my imagination was just going crazy on me.
In 1991 we moved into a 4 bedroom house on the city fringe of Brisbane Australia. Of all the bedrooms in the house, my Mum, sister and me always felt cold shivers when we walked into one particular room of the house. The room to the door was right off the hallway. One night, my mum told me about a dream she had. She had gotten up to get a drink of water in the middle of the night and was raped by three men in their 50′s. In the dream, they grabbed her in the corridor and dragged her into my room where they raped …

Well I guess there’s no easy way of saying this, my house is haunted. No one else will believe me so I hope you will.
It all started when I was left home alone, on one cold November night. I was washing up some dishes before my parents got home when all of a sudden the dish that I was holding flew half way across the room into a wall. How could that happen? I began picking it up when a cold shiver shot down my back. I thought nothing of it, so I went back to work, on picking up the broken dish. I had gotten all picked up, and had finished the dishes, I shut off the light, and that’s when I heard it. “Katie”, that’s my name, but yet I was the only one in the house how could that possibly be?
Was I going insane? No that was for real. By now I was getting pretty …

It’s almost time for bed – but terror is striking your heart because you know that there are horrifying images and perceptions waiting around the corner of deep sleep.
Or you may be plagued by nightmares that surface just as you drift off out of the waking world. Either way, you are now switching through the channels on the television, putting off that inevitable moment when sheer exhaustion takes over.
If this sounds like your nightly routine, you may be suffering from one of two sleeping issues that affect many people worldwide in all walks of life and of all ages – recurring nightmares or night terrors. There has been some confusion that the two are one and the same, however that is a misconception.
Nightmares and Night Terrors occur independently of each other in different stages of sleep. Night terrors happen in the stage just before REM sleep. It is an extremely deep stage of the sleep process in

It was the summer of ’09, it started on a bright sunny Friday afternoon. It was nice out and my day off so I decided to take a walk down town and go to the book store. I spent a good few minutes just browsing until I got to the paranormal section. On the top shelf in the left corner I found it, it was an old, thin, dusty book, that had the word “Witchcraft” printed on it. No authors name, or date of being published. It was priced $9 so I thought, why not, and I bought it.
I went to a convenience store got a few snacks and then plopped myself down on my favorite seat in town. It was right by the old movie theater, it had a view of main street, the bridge and you could still see the sky. I made myself comfortable and open the book, the first page was blank, the second page …

You Can Experience Lucid Dreaming
The ‘Dream World’ is truly a fascinating place. A veritable universe that expands infinitely within our minds and perhaps even beyond those limits. It is a place to which we often go but may rarely remember. The Dream World is full of mystery and possibilities, it is a frontier that can be accessed by any one of us.
Have you ever experienced a lucid dream? A lucid dream is, simply put, a dream in which you are aware that you are dreaming. I can tell you from personal experience that once you find yourself fully lucid in a dream you will be astounded and amazed at what you discover. The world is yours to discover or to play with…
Lucid in the Dream World
What if you could dream and know that you were dreaming? Completely aware that you are in the “dream world.”
Can you imagine walking, or even flying, through your dream with …

Hello! I’m a little hesitant on sharing my story, well actually it was a dream I had one night, late September of 2009. Right after I had this dream I didn’t pay attention to the details and the symbolism. I strongly believe it holds meaning to my life. I have been thinking A lot about it lately. And I thought I’d share it with you.
First I’d like to tell you a little about myself and my history. I’m 25 years old and I am half native American. My teenage years for me have been hell. It was hard for me to make friends. I was struggling with my identity, (sexual identity).
Life at home wasn’t easy, my mom was the selfish type. She would never have you believe that. She and I never got along. My dad was always working out of town, except on weekends. So I spent most of my time reading, writing, and daydreaming.
Alright this …

Around 1976 or so,when I was a kid my Father my stepmom and me went on a car trip out to upstate New york to visit an old Friend and family. The house was big and old. It had those long windows and high ceilings with big staircase and large entrance with an ornate overhang on the front. The color was a dark red stain with peeling white trim.
We stayed a couple of quiet days with them except for the last night I had a strange nightmare. I awoke with this heavy weight on my chest. It was stopping me from breathing. It was dark in the room only moonlight through the big window. I was alone in this bedroom upstairs. I strained my eyes to see what it was on my chest. It was a sort of big black cat. I tried to move and I couldn’t. I tried to scream but nothing came out. I closed my …

Thanks for taking time to read this. To start when I was around ten years old I was sleeping at my dads old apartment and I woke up in the middle of the night. From where my bed was I could see into my little brothers room across the hall, he was just a baby. I woke up and saw someone, a whiteish cloudy figure, almost looking down on my brother. I closed my eyes opened them again and I was paralyzed, couldn’t move couldn’t talk and I felt as if it was beside me now staring at me. Somehow I fell back asleep.
There were other things that happened to other family members in that apartment too but this is my experience. Ever since I’ve had dreams of ghosts often. They are usually in the form of old people and children I’ve never seen before. They appear suddenly in my dreams if I turn around or look a different …

One day I was just sitting in my room watching TV. It was around 12:30 that I went to sleep.
I had this horrible nightmare of this thing that was acting like a vicious cannibal. It had skin that looked like it was burnt terribly. It’s eyes were red and the veins were bleeding inside his eyes. It had huge sharp yellow teeth and fingers so long with knife sharp nails. I remember crying in my dream and then it got up from eating this person. It ran up to me and I just stood still. Then it told me something. He said… “It floats.” Before I could ask him what floats I woke up from my dream. It has been happening for 3 years every single day.
Every single night I lay in the dark in my bed and this shadow like thing would crawl on the ceiling in a human shaped form. Then it would climb on my …

A friend (Bobby) just told me about some weird dreams he had a couple of weeks ago and asked me if I know someone who could say if his dreams have a special meaning. I hope that the readers of this site may have some answers for us.
The first dream begins with Bobby standing in an old, gothic church and staring at a woman who was praying in front of a statue. She was asking God for forgiveness because she has sinned badly. All of a sudden, a person who Bobby thought to be God appeared near the woman. He looked like the usual man with beard and long hair we see in the old paintings. The weird part was that he had a black robe, and claws with very long, black nails. While my friend was gazing at him, God or that person pretending to be him went to the woman and he ripped her head off. He …
