My name is Kenyatta. I just had to send a comment on what happened to me. I never was the kind of person who believed in paranormal stuff but I found out that paranormal things do happen.
When I use to read stories and see people on TV talking about ghost encounters and all that kind of stuff, I would just brush it off like that’s not true. Well I had a visit from a hooded being at the end of my bed about two years ago.
My cousin was dying from AIDS, My mother was diagnosed with cancer. My grandmother passed and also my uncle. All of this was happening months apart. Well again this being was at the end of my bed. At first I was asleep and when I woke I couldn’t move, I couldn’t talk or nothing. I’m very very sure I was not dreaming because I was looking all over my room I can smell the air feel the air and everything. I was very afraid because I never in my life saw something at the end of my bed with all white on with a hood over it’s face.
The thing was praying and his head was moving so fast side to side… it was moving so fast until it look like it was moving in slow motion. I was very scared after this thing finished doing whatever it was doing. Finally I was able to move and it disappeared. Thank god nothing happened to me.
The next day I told my boyfriend he said I was dreaming… I’m sure I was not. One week later my cousin passed from the AIDS virus.I feel like this thing came around to warn me about the sickness in my family and the passing of some family members. I’m not crazy I’m a normal person I just need some answers please.

no offence but i dont know if the thing warned you about your counsin dying around you.i think it just happened she was sick and i am sorry to hear that.but what you did see was something probably but not to warn you about what happened.if you have any other stories post them.thanks for the story.
you have my sympathies! it’s strange how people go in groups sometimes. honestly i couldn’t tell you what you saw. i just hope things return to normal if you can call life normal at all. actually there is no normal, the word is functional. hang in there kenyatta
i experienced this before for a period of time except that i didnt see a white figure. it happened every night when i was sleeping to the point where i was afraid to go to sleep. there was once my cousin was watching tv beside my bed and my eyes were wide open and yet i couldn’t move or talk at all. i was shouting for help from her but nothing came outta my mouth. i just had to “battle” the whole thing myself. i felt like if i gave up fighting, i would be gone. im totally feeling you. i hope you’re okay now and nothing like that ever happens again.
Hey Kenyatta! I believe what you saw was true because the same thing happened to my gran and uncle. my gran was just reading on her bed when she saw something standing next to her bed, as she looked to her side there was a hooded fugure dressed in white and then it disapeared and my gran phoned my uncle to tell him what she had seen and he told her that he had seen the exact same thing moments earlier.

It could be Grim Reaper though, a hooded figure(skeleton) carrying a sickle or it could be some sort of angel of death like the grim reaper….To know more about the grim reaper you can visit:

Interesting… first let me give my condolences for your cousin and the family members that are so sick. What a terrible time for you with so many loved ones sick and/or dying! Since you never before saw this aparition and to me it does sound a lot like the Grim Reaper; it obviously appeared for you for some reason. I am thankful you were no more than scared- not that that wasn’t bad; just thankful no harm came to you…. let us know if you see it again… thanks for sharing- Pat
Hi Kenyatta. I’ve experienced this many times. What you experienced is called Sleep Paralysis. It happens when you are waking up. You can be fully awake but your brain thinks you are still asleep so you see things that aren’t really there. There is usually a dark figure in the corner of my room. You can’t move because, of course, your brain thinks your body is aslep. It is the most terrifiying thing I have ever experienced. The entities can and most likely will harm you and you will have trouble breathing because they either choke you or sit on you. I don’t know why, but it is always like that with me. The easiest way for me to fully wake up is to look from side to side repeatedly. Your brain will realize you are awake and everything will be normal.
this happened to me before about 5 years ago, when my neighbor passed away. Which by the way was my childhood friend. I can remember it like as if it was yesturday. It was the night after going to his funeral in the afternoon. I was siting on the coach on the computer trying to fix a virus it had. I went to bed about 1 hr later but I really could sleep because I was thinking about the funeral. All of sudden I felt like a heavy weight right on top of me, I couldn’t move my legs, arms or head. I was just looking stright up towards the ceiling. After that my body felt like it was floating about 10 inches or so and I couldn’t yell for help because something was not letting me. Then that’s when I saw the hooded shadow moving his head towards me. No face but a dark hooded shadow. I know this wasn’t a dream because I could here my dog barking very loudly. Then within a min or two I dropped back on to my bed, I got up and ran to my mothers room. She knew something happened because my heart was beating so fast. The next day my mother asked me what happened and I told her. Then she said crazy thing is the last thing your friend did before he died was trying to fix the computer. ???
Kenyatta, I have been searching for years whether someone else has seen the same thing as me. The one I saw I only saw once, I woke in the morning and was lying there with my eyes closed for a while and decided to look to see how light it was to determine the time, much to my surprise I had a white being moving quickly towards me from my closed bedroom door. It seemed quite short and had white cloth with white hood white hands like maybe bandaged or something they were a bit blurry to define same with face, however the eyes were like fierce burning bright white stars, which seized me with awe and terror. The thing came over and stood next to me, I thought quickly to say something good to show i was a kind good person to hopefully temper this being from being hostile toward me incase it was capable. I remember mentioning how can we help this world, and it didn’t speak but threw its arms out to the sides and did a strange wobble and then bent over me, I immediately flinched and closed me eyes only to open and see it gone. The only thing close to this prehaps is the man in linen clothe in the bible, after reading latter after becoming a christian. He goes out and marks the names of god on their forheads of those whom are saved in the end times.
I believe you. The same thing happened to me about 20 years ago. I woke to see a hooded figure with no face just floating I couldn’t see any legs. I was absolutely petrified and was unablet fo move through fear but I managed to close my eyes for a minute hoping that when I opened them it would be gone but it was still there so I closed my eyes again and when I opened them a few minutes later he was gone. As far as I can remember there wasn’t any death or illness around that time but I have always wondered what he wanted.
My daughter saw 3 girls that looked like angels. They were praying around my dying Foster father. maybe you saw a praying angel. or angel to warn you of what was to come. Death usually comes in 3′s.
