The Old Lady’s Ghost

Posted on April 11, 2008

I come from New Zealand and in my younger years I went flatting with a few friends. The house we rented felt nice and cozy. As there were five of us living there, things were a bit cramped. I moved in with my boyfriend at the time and we were all settled in. There were no things out of the norm, in fact it felt really nice living there.

One night in particular, we went to bed and I couldn’t fall asleep as I felt a little unsettled. I wasn’t sure why but I lay awake for a while, my boyfriend had fallen asleep and as I lay there watching him I suddenly got the feeling someone was in the room. our door was shut and everyone else in the house was asleep.

I moved to roll away from him and as I looked down towards the end of the bed there was a very old lady in an old fashioned wedding dress looking up at me and smiling. I got really freaked out, but I was so scared I couldn’t move. I just lay there watching her. Her clothes and hair seemed to move but I can assure you there was no wind. She was positioned at the end of the bed on my corner and leaned over my feet to touch my boyfriends feet and was smiling at me while she was doing this. The thing that really got me was that she had a face and body but at times through the phantom wind that was blowing in and around her, it seemed to change her appearance from fleshy to skeletal.

I lay there and slowly she disappeared, but she kept on smiling and it was a mixture of friendly and not so friendly vibes that I got of her.

I immediately turned towards my boyfriend and started crying and explained what had happened and told him that the old lady seemed to be touching his feet and laughing. I didn’t know what to think nor did he. We never discussed it with anyone in the house and when we discussed it between the two of us we assumed she was friendly and left it at that.

We all lived there for another five months and left.

I don’t know if the lady was warning me about my boyfriend or she was just curious about him, but two years later my boyfriend committed suicide and I still get the feeling looking back at this bizarre thing we went through, that the old lady was in some way trying to let me know that he was chosen to go.

I have had aura photos taken and in one of them you can see the outline of his aura next to my upper torso. I also, around the time of his death and for two and a half years after that, was getting the heavy warm sensation of his hand on my left hand shoulder. That sensation has waned down a lot now, but I still get a certain song on the radio playing when I think about him and I know its him just letting me know he’s still watching over me.

omg… talk about creepy… but if your boyfriend’s still there watching over you…, it means he hasn’t crossed over yet… he should have by now, dont you think?

  4. Jackie says:

That’s so sad about your boyfriend!!! The old lady – that would have freaked me out, especially as you weren’t sure if she was good or not. Apparently, if something good, say like an angel is there, you know for sure that it is good as it’s supposed to emanate it all around you.

Hope your boyfriend can move on, you could pray for him to find the light or something.

That is a very touching story, and I do believe that she was warning you. And my religion states that if ghost are real and you are not making this up, god and heaven is real. I pray for you and your boyfriend.

okay it is good enough to belive!!
