Someone Was Following Me

Posted on February 2, 2011

I’ve written on here before about my daughter and the things she sees, and some of the odd experiences she’s had. I truly believe, more and more as she gets older, that she sees things most people don’t.

This event happened when she was 6 (she’s 9 now) and my son was 3. My little boy was at his father’s house for the night and my daughter was in the bathtub. I was putting away laundry which required several trips up and down the hall to each of the bedrooms, passing the open bathroom door and glancing in to check on her every time I went by. After about 4 or 5 trips past the bathroom, she called me so I paused to see what she wanted.

She says, “I thought Brother wasn’t here.” I answered, “He’s not, he’s at his daddy’s.” What she said next nearly made me drop my stack of freshly folded towels!

She looked me right in the eye and calm as could be says, “No, he’s been following you up and down the hall. He’s been right behind you every time you walk by.”

No one, I repeat, no one, was in that house but my daughter and I. I have no idea what she saw but she was so adamant that it was her brother that I called his dad to check on him. My son, of course, was there and was fine, but I can’t explain what she saw.

The main reason I believe she saw what she said she saw is because just a few weeks before, my sister had been visiting and she was leaving around dusk. May I add here that my sister is a total skeptic, nor is she a drug user and we hadn’t been drinking alcohol. But a few minutes after leaving out the side door and heading to her car, she came tearing back in, white as a sheet with tears in her eyes. When she calmed down, this is what she told me…

She had been walking to her car and saw a slight movement behind a large cedar tree at the end of my driveway, no more than 15 feet from where she was standing. She shook it off as a squirrel or a bird and continued walking, but just then a little boy stepped out from behind the tree. We live in a subdivision, lots of kids in the neighborhood, so not that odd, right? But what concerned her is that it was getting dark and the kid couldn’t have been more than 3 or 4 years old, she said. She approached him and started to ask where his mommy was when he darted back behind the tree and when she got there less than a minute later he was gone!

She nearly broke her neck running back into my house and since then refuses to stay in my house alone and has to have someone escort her to her car if it’s anywhere near sunset when she’s leaving.

And before you assume my daughter may have been listening to her hysterical aunt that evening… neither of my children were home and of course I never told them about it. Maybe they saw the same child, my sister in the driveway and my daughter in the hallway. My sister did say that it looked like a normal little boy, not hazy or misty or anything, and that he did somewhat resemble my son in his height, hair color, etc.

Yea I would have to say that is interesting and very eerie! Maybe if you looked thru old records about your House and the Area you live in, or even ask nieghbors about previous owners of your home you mite be able to find out who this little Boy is. He must like you to want to fallow you as your Daughter saw him doing. Thanks for Sharing and God Bless!

if you ever find out who the little boy is you should tell everyone! I’d love to hear it!

they can appear anywhere, what i like is when it does happen to the skeptics!

I think there are 2 possibilities:
No.1 there is a spirit of a little boy who died years ago either in the n-hood where you live or in the house where you live. You rdaughter thought the little boy is her brother because he is about the same age as your son.

No.2 An evil spirit or a demon can apprear to be someone you know in your life. They can make you confused.

But I think It is as long as nothing bad happens and you don’t sense something evil, then there must be little boy’s spirit in your house. You may talk to him as a mother and help him see the light.

I’m sure it’s not the 2nd option, because my sister saw him too and she knew it wasn’t my son right away, the little boy was just the same general age, height, etc., as my son. I think my daughter was catching glimpses of a little one behind me in the hallway and simply assumed it was her brother. Thank goodness, too, I don’t feel as though there’s anything bad, because that would be…well…bad, lol!
