My wife and I used a Ouija board to try to contact my stepdaughter who had passed several years ago on the date of her death.
Apparently we have done everything wrong concerning the board. We have been experiencing poltergeist activity ever since. Moving objects, taking personal belonging including money and ID, pictures showing up and items appearing that were from other parts of the country.
It seems to have an attachment to my wife. She can hear and see “him” and has given her a name for “himself”. We have tried many things to resolve this with no avail and are running out of ideas.
Does anybody have any insight on how to rid yourself of such a thing. Do mediums work? If so, can anybody personally recommend one. Any other ideas are more than welcome.
I respectfully request that skeptics refrain comment, as I don’t want to waste time and energy. If anyone can suggest other websites for consideration that would be great.

depending on your beliefs there are many ways to concider. if you are christian i would agree completely with jordan and get ahold of a priest to do a cleansing or “blessing” of the house. if that doesn’t help then you may want to look into a medium… but be careful as there are plenty of people who claim to be “in touch” with the spirit world but are no more in touch with ghosts than they are their common sense. if you would like to talk more about this e-mail me.

Ok, you have hit on my subject here! First of all you need to leave the Ouija board alone and I mean alone!!
Please be open minded to what i have to say here. My first experience with the paranormal began with a Ouija board – then this resulted in a demonic attack. I’m not saying this is going to happen to you!
Take this advice… you need to PRAY earnestly and get all negative energy out of your house. Start by getting a priest in, or/also, your prayers are a must. Believe me when I say, this worked for me during the attack I suffered. It brought me to God and I became a true believer in God after this and that is the truth. I cannot stress how your prayer will weaken this negative energy…keep it up and don’t lose faith in this.
I know have a cross above my bed and a picture of Mary holding Jesus in her arms…these are all forms of positive energy, which will keep the negative either away, or unwilling to go near.

Demons are just hanging around for people to mess around with these boards, it’s the perfect portal to reach you. They will try and manipulate you into thinking they are your friend or long lost love one, but you can tell that this is not the case as you become more and more unlike yourself, and you are feeling frightened. Ask yourself, if whoever it is that is supposedly good, why do you feel afraid. Good, does not work this way, you know when good is around. Listen to your instincts. As evil drains you, they become stronger. Do not be fooled by them.
Jesus thats all you need is Jesus.
First Pray a lot. You need to put your faith and Trust in Jesus and when you know something is happening say, God rebuke you, or in the name of Jesus our Savior be gone. Read your Bible, learn about Jesus. You need to learn this and I am not being condesending. If you learn THE WAY to Heaven, you or your wife will not worry about where you are when you die. If you are not absolutely sure where you will be when you die, read a Bible and it will tell you how to be sure.

Put salt around your house- sorry if it kills snails but salt is something evil can’t penetrate; also get some sage smudge sticks and light them and make sure the sage gets into every corner- say prayers and tell the presence to leave your home in the name of GOD command it to leave and it must! DO NOT BURN the Ouija board but get rid of it- bury it- throw it way but NEVER use it! be very careful! God Bless-Pat

First I must say that poltergeists and spirits are quite different, it is almost certain that yours is a spirit rather than a poltergeist in a technical sense. A poltergeist is almost always the spiritual projection of an angry, depressed or otherwise troubled child, usually a girl, and usually under the teenage years. The poltergeist is also usually someone you know or who has been in your house at one point. Not always. A spirit on the other hand may have no prior communications with you and can have been dead or existed as a spirit long before you were born. USUALLY you can cleanse a mild in habitation by telling it to leave with authority, When I had a poltergeist (the poor troubled little girl downstairs), I simply said “GET OUT OF MY HOUSE. You are NOT welcome.” I had to tell her a few times, she got a little p.o.ed the first time, but eventually listened.
However sometimes for more resistant spirits you have to resort to prayer and fasting. My mother’s first house in MI was haunted possibly by demons when she first moved into it many years before I was born. She was in a religious cult at the time (a Christian one actually – don’t get me wrong, I’m a Christian and I have Faith in God and his son Jesus, but sometimes good things are taken to extremes and become bad things) and learned a good prayer of protection that has worked for me many times in calming my fears and letting peace enter me. She repeated this one, the Lord’s Prayer, and the 23rd Psalm over and over in her mind at first and then out loud, and after about an hour she heard a mighty wind up the chimney (on a windless night) and since had never had problems with it.
The prayer is this: The Light of God surrounds me, the Power of God protects me, the Presence of God watches over me, the Love of God enfolds me. Wherever I am, there He is, and all is well.
It is usually best to end a prayer SESSION (not necessarily each individual prayer) with “In the name of Christ”
If you have troubles with spirits I would buy a Bible (if you don’t already have one) and get used to the 23rd psalm and the Lord’s Prayer, both powerful protection prayers as one states “Yea though I walk through the Valley of the Shadow of Death I will FEAR NO EVIL for though are with me” and the other says “Lead us not into temptation and DELIVER US FROM EVIL.”
Many people here are suggesting spells and other rituals to remove a spirit, however if you TRULY believe in the power of Christ and you TRULY surrender your heart to His habitation then you are protected by him from evil, you simply have to call on Him.
These verses from the Bible show where Christ gives US the authority to cast demons out of a place or person in his name.
Luke 10:17-19, “And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold, I give unto you power (translates to AUTHORITY) to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
Mark 13:34 Tells us that ALL believers have this power in His name.
Mark 16:17 restates that we ALL have the power to cast them out.
Acts 16:18 gives us an example of how we should cast a demon out.
Mark 9 tells us that ANY man can cast out spirits in the Holy name of Christ. It also contains an excellent example of a possession by a devil AND also the proper way that one must cast out some devils, if rebuking it in the Name does not work the first time. This particular spirit was deaf, and so could not HEAR the Name when the Disciples spoke it.
I hope this helps you a little bit. Sometimes it may take perseverance to cast an entity out of your home, and sometimes they may threaten or cause damage to your property or person, but the only way to truly be rid of them is to hold fast and not let them have authority over you!
