True Ghost Tales

I didn’t remember this ever happening until my mother reminded me of it over a decade later, but once she reminded me, it all came back so vividly almost photographic like.

One day when I was a toddler (about 3 years old) I saw a woman’s face in the ceiling of my bedroom, her face blended into the ceiling but her eyes, part of her nose and bright red lipstick were very well defined.

Being that young and seeing that scared me so naturally I ran to mum to show her, upon inspecting my room she put it down to me being tired.

But it seemed to happen again many times over the next couple of weeks, but sometimes she would appear as a whole. She wore bright white clothing and had long black hair and white skin which made her eyes and lips stand out more. Sometimes she would be sitting on my bed or standing somewhere. And every time she appeared I would get spooked and try to show my mum.

One time my mum decided to play along with it and told me the next time it happened to ask the lady visitor to leave me alone, so the next time I saw her, I screamed for her to leave me alone and I fled my room.

Weeks had passed and I had almost forgotten about seeing the lady in my room. When my mum asked me if I had seen it lately which I hadn’t.

I began to think if I asked it to go away, would it come back it I asked to see her again? So I went to my room and spoke out aloud asking the lady to come back. Later on that evening she appeared again! Instantly I ran to mum and told her what I did and what happened after. My mother then told me to ask it what it wants.

I went back into my room but she wasn’t there, so I spoke aloud asking what she wanted, but nothing immediate happened. Later on that evening she appeared. I wasn’t spooked this time though so I wasn’t compelled to flee. I then proceeded to ask this visitor what she wanted. She then spoke to me saying she was here to look after and watch over me and then disappeared.

I told my mum about what had happened, and that was it. I never saw that lady ever again… and I forgot all about it

But 16 years later my mother and I were talking about ghosts and she mentioned I used to see something in my bedroom, and the memories came back to me like I was watching a video of it happening in my mind. I had never had a memory or imagination so vivid before in my life.

And that was my experience with seeing my guardian angel.
