My husband and I stayed in a room on floor A on the Queen Mary ship in Long Beach Harbor in California in May 2007. We took my brother and his wife who had their own room.
I checked the cleanliness of our bathroom on arrival and everything was polished perfectly even the black toilet lid. But the room was very tiny with no ventilation and old plumbing.
After a deep sleep the night before, I got up and took a shower with the door closed and the room filled with steam and fog. As I got out of the shower and was stepping on the towel on the floor, I could not help but see a huge bare foot forming on the black toilet lid. Someone was stepping out of the shower the same time I was, right next to me. The footprint in the steam was that of a man and it was large like a size 13. I stood there and looked at it for 10 minutes but once I opened the door it disappeared. I just took a shower with a ghost and I was stark naked.
My husband was still in bed and feeling quite ill. Strange, as he was perfect the day before. He was delirious and later in the day I checked on him and he sat up talking in a sleep state about the exact history of the ship. He said that “we do not like being called ghosts as we are spirits”. Then he kept on talking real fast about the ship and what it was like living on the ship and factual information that my husband could never know.
We had not taken any tours yet as we got in late the day before. He proceeded to tell us that they had the incident all wrong about the little girl that drowned in the pool. He knew three persons were involved in her death and he knew them. He talked about the people that had died on the ship and how horrible it was to watch soldiers dying all around him. He kept talking for about 15 minutes about history and people on the ship and such until he just snapped out of it.
He just shook his head and asked why we were all sitting there looking at him. He said he was totally starving and wanted to eat. Well, I could understand that as he felt ill since bedding down the night before with sickness in the stomach, fever, disorientation and totally unaware of anything going on around him.
I feel like a spirit took over his body, just moved in and used it to talk to us. The person who was laying in that bed and talking all that history to us was not my husband. It must have been a spirit. And after it left his body, he felt perfectly fine except very hungry. He sort of remembered talking to us but did not know what he was saying at all.
The weekend we stayed on the Queen Mary was an awesome experience. I really recommend it but not for those that scare easily. We are pretty down to earth people and it was a bit unsettling to say the least, but an experience I would not have missed. Sharon in Nevada

I got to take a tour of the Queen Mary in october with my husband two small sons and sister. It was an awsome tour of the ship. As we are from Kentucky we were amazed with the ship.
Anyways after the tour and the guide left us to explore the ship, we walked around for like an hour. Then when we were ready to leave its like we couldn’t find our way out. The ship is so very creepy. i has the feelig of being watched the whole time like someone else was with us. I have a ton of pics from the ship. I’ve never looked at them very closely but I could for orbes or anything interesting. I could never stay on this ship my self. I felt way to uneasy the entire time I was there. And after roaming the halls trying to find my way out with no luck just made it worse.LOL Cool story

I saw a paranormal documentary featuring that ship. The supernatural phenomenon the team investigating the ship managed to capture was excellent and a medium operating in the case described the presence of a young girl too Another investigator also had dramatic body convulsions and temperature changes too (possibly an attempted possession case as well)
That must have been quite a scary holiday!!

Wow, that’s quite interesting. I live in California, and I have never heard of Queen Mary’s.
Can you tell me what city you were in, or where it is located? I really think that it is interesting at the part that her husband was speaking for 15 minutes. I just have a guess, maybe that the spirit did the same thing that day when he died. Maybe he took a shower, and then later something happened? I do not know for myself, interesting story.

The last I know was that the Queen Mary is in Long Beach, Ca.
I go there often and I hear giggles in the pool room, the water where the propellers are sometimes waves as if the propellers are still on. The engine room is so erie , sometimes u hear footsteps behind u as u walk through but I’ve never seen anything..
Boiler room 13, in the bowels of the ship, is very haunted. A mechanic was crushed by the doors during a drill back in the 1940′s by that very door. We went there for my high school prom and a couple of us went down there. Nothing much to speak of happened that night, but it was very cold in spots around the door. This is in Long Beach, California during June, so it was not cold at all outside.

Im going with my boyfriend to the Queen Mary next Tuesday for the Marine Ball… Yeah… We are staying on the ship.. Im totally freaked out.
