Seriously, this freaked the pants off me, and I couldn’t sleep the rest of the night afterwards. Sucky thing was, it was a school night too.
From the hours of 11 PM to 4 AM, I was dead asleep with my cat also sleeping at the foot of my mattress. I was awoken by my cat, who’s an 11 year old orange tabby. He was meowing repeatedly, and I just thought he wanted attention (He’s an attention lover).
So I yawned, stretched, and just as I was sitting up, I extended my hand to him, only to see that my door had been opened. This scared the pants off me because my door is always locked and bolted shut.
I thought it was my mom or younger brother, so as lazy as I am, I make a face, and get up. Needless to say, I was slightly angry that my cat and something were trying to keep me awake at four in the freakin’ morning.
I get to my door, only to see that the lock’s still on. Now how can this be? I know that an 11 year old orange tabby doesn’t have the strength to open a locked door, and keep the lock on.
At breakfast, I asked my Mom if she was in my room to let him out, and obviously like in all stories, she says “nope”. Had to share it. From now on, I sleep with my closet light on because of this, and two past experiences.
