Note: This is not meant to be scary just what I saw.
I was about ten it was the first night my twin brother and I were to sleep in separate bedrooms. I was soundly asleep when I heard a loud bang. I got up to investigate which was strange because I would have normally been scared but this time I felt at ease. I looked through out the whole house finally reaching my brothers bedroom by this stage I was wide awake and sat at the edge of my brothers bed. The room suddenly became very cold so I crept under the blankets for warmth and comfort.
I lay there but was unable to keep my eyes closed. Suddenly I saw a golden cloud about the size of a football float over the bed and towards the center of the room. I ignored it but it remained and once again floated over the bed.
On the third occasion it went to the center of the room and expanded to the floor level. I turned towards it and noticed movement. It was spinning. This started to scare me (I didn’t want to look directly at it) so I asked my brother if he could see something in the middle of the room (I was fully expecting him to say no). When he said yes I froze and began to shake with fear.
This went on for maybe 10 seconds or so but at the time seemed much longer then the “spirit” floated to the top corner of the room and turned into 10-12 tennis ball sized “orbs” of different colors; yellow, pink, purple, just like a rainbow. It then faded away.
When this disappeared my brother and I began crying and calling out for our parents. My brother later told me he saw what looked like a monk or old lady dancing in the middle of the room. That was the first and only time I have ever seen anything.
I have since often wondered why this “ghost” appeared the only thing I can think of is maybe the spirit was happy to see my brother and I in the same room again. Thanks for reading

it was probably always in the room and was agitated when you moved into a different room. most spirits dont adapt well to change, so it would have been ecstatic to see you both in the same room again
It’s REALLY hard to place cause and effect on the things these things do. I have witnessed HUNDREDS of paranormal events and can’t place a reason for ANYTHING they’ve done. It’s all bizarre weird things that just don’t seem to make any sense. Slapping toilet seats around, jiggling door knobs EXCESSIVELY, throwing things around the house!
Beats me WHY they do ANY of it!
