When I was a child I had a friend named Victoria. She had one of the biggest houses I have ever been in, and I had never gotten a good feeling while I was in it. She had a pool in her back yard as well as a pond and many other things of the sort. Though I didn’t go over there much I can still imagine it quite well. So me and her were about to go swimming when she realized that we didn’t have any towels, so she sent me to go get some for us.
I walked up the stairs and down the hall way to her moms room. She had a big cabinet full of towels that was right across from her balcony up stairs. So I opened the cabinet and grabbed some, but as I closed it I noticed that her mom was standing on the balcony, so I smiled and said “Hi Mandy!” and she smiled back. Then what happened next I will never forget.
She began to climb up the railing on the balcony. Then, with a big smile on her face… jumped right off! I let out a big scream and ran over to the balcony and threw my head over the railing looking at the ground. But there was nothing there. Not a rock was out of place and the bushes weren’t disturbed either. That freaked me out to no end.
I started screaming again and I couldn’t believe what had just happened. Then guess who came running in? Her mom, and she was just fine. I was baffled. I explained the whole story to her and she told me that she had seen the woman too. She asked me what she was wearing and I told her a long green dress.
After that I never went back to her house. My mom refused to let me. Then later on in the years I found out that her house was actually once an Indian children’s hospital and that all the children and doctors and nurses in the place died because the water they were drinking was contaminated with some type of sickness.
