The Lady Wearing Black In The Old House

As I had submitted before my experiences during childhood, this is one of my experiences I had during the last five years. It’s about the old house my family rented in 2004.

When we moved in, the neighbors quickly asked us why we decided to rent the place. They said that they frequently see a woman they call “white lady” standing by the window on the 2nd floor of the house. We of course ignored it thinking they just wanted to scare us. But frankly, the house looked creepy. The wooden floors felt like they are going to collapse and the rooms, no matter how you open the windows remain dark inside. My Nanny Died And I Saw Her In My Dreams

My Nanny had pancreatic cancer.  When we found out, I was so hurt.  She had been there for me and raised me. I loved her so much.  Everyday we saw her and you could tell she was getting worse.

We had Christmas with her and she was sick but she managed to have a good time and laughed along with us.  Christmas eve night I left to go to my boyfriend’s mamas house with him.  He asked me to marry him, and I said yes and I was just so excited. I called mama and Nanny!

Shortly after, probably around Jan 10th maybe, Nanny told mama and Connie (my moms friend) that she wished who ever was pregnant would hurry up and have the baby. The Little Haunted Apartment

After leaving Grenada I went back to my little island to live with my father. I was almost ten at the time.  While I was on that island I lived between my mom and dad.  living in the little apartment with my dad, I was often left alone (when he was between girlfriends) because my dad worked from 4-1 am.  I would sit at the dinner table to do my homework.  It always felt like someone was watching me and I couldn’t concentrate. His friend (the neighbour), would stop by to check on me.

Lynettes Ghost

This is a true story about my friend, Lynette. When Lynette moved into this house she knew it was haunted. She figured this out the second day she lived there. The first experience she had is very creepy and super weird. Lynette was in her mom and dad’s room. She was on the computer and heard something down the hall in her room.

So Lynette looks out the door and sees what looks like a teenage boy. Curious and scared Lynette runs down the hallway to see what it is and no one is there.

Scary Experience At My Old Job

My name is Joe and I’m 32. I used to work in a mental health unit. One night while working, about 3 am, the Nurse had me go to the chart room to pull charts so the patients charts would be ready for the doctors when they came in. I had to go through two electronically locked doors down a hallway, past the public restrooms, through another set of locked doors to the chart room.

I was half way down the hall near the restroom when I heard the water faucet running in the women’s restroom. As I got to the door, the water shut off. I thought OK, maybe it was a leak. A Ouija Board Story – ZOSO The Demon

One evening my ex-wife and I decided to take an old board to a good friend of mine’s house. He lived close to downtown Tulsa,and he believed in spirits. He had seen some of our “sessions” and he even participated. His wife however did not believe, and so we thought we would show her a few things. Little did we know that before the evening was over my friend Mike and I would find ourselves inside a mental health ward.

This particular night there was a crisp full moon, everyone was in a pleasant mood,and we brought candles, a box of soil, and poured purified water into a cool little chalice that my ex-wife carried with her sometimes. We situated ourselves on the coffee table in the living room, dimmed the lights, and lit the candles.

Mums Earrings

This is a story well known within my family, it happened 14 years ago now so definitely time to share.

On 24th Dec 1995 my mum passed away (she had blood poisoning). I felt as though my world had ended, mum was my best friend and her death was sudden, I was 18 at the time.

The day of mum’s funeral is still a bit of a blur on the whole but the following stands out for obvious reasons. I wore mums favourite earings on the day of the funeral. Now we left from mums house to the church, then to the memorial function at our local centre.

My New House And An Imaginary Friend

We had just moved to Virginia. As soon as we walked into that house I ran right to the up stairs closet. I would stay up there for hours. One night at dinner my mother asked me why I stayed in the closet so much. I told her I was playing with a boy. She asked me what the boy’s name was I told her I didn’t know but I would find out.

The next day I ran into the  kitchen  yelling, “I know his name, I know his name!” I told her I only knew his last name. So my mom went to the library and looked up the name. She found out his name was Jess Brace and that he had died of a fever in 1762. She also found out that he had a sister named Velvet Brace who was murdered over at her friend’s house not long after her brother’s death.

My Experiences With Sleep Paralysis

I have had two significant experiences. Once when I was about 18 and the other when I was about 22. In the first, I was watching TV and suddenly could not move a single muscle. I could, however, move my eyes. It was really very, very scary. The most scary feeling I have ever had… ever. I was having a hard time breathing. I could sense a presence in the room with me at the time and it was making a strange shuffling sound on the floor.

I was afraid to look at it and the next thing I know, (I know this is going to sound crazy), I am no longer in my body. I am looking down on my body on my bed and I am somewhere near the ceiling. The Sookinyah

I grew up in the islands where these things are common. Coming from the islands, however, we never discussed these things with Americans.

There were two encounters that I can remember; they happened to my friends. One happened to an older friend of mine. He lived on a hill and was walking up the hill to get home. The sun was setting. He said that from a distance he saw this ball of fire. Soon, his brothers, who were ahead of him, pointed it out. The ball of fire suddenly swooped down the hill, and before he knew it he was face to face with it.

He said it stood in front of him for a few seconds and he could see something like three black holes (for eyes and mouth) and it had wings that flapped like a hummingbird (making a helicopter sound). He said he was scared for his life. Then, just like that, it zoomed away.

Child Ghost At The Park

When I was nine me and my friend Lori had went to the park that was down the street from where I lived. We were on the slide and playing and having fun. Well at this time me and my friend were the only ones there. There were no other kids or parents there.
