When I was younger I always felt I was being watched, or there was something in the room with me. Up until a few years ago I dismissed it as nothing. But then strange things started to happen. I kept seeing ‘floating’ lights and moving shapes.

One time I was walking up my hallway along across the bottom of the stairs and I saw my shadow moving. Normal, right? No. My shadow was walking in the opposite direction. Someone Haunting The Babies Room

Ok so call me weird but I’ve always been a believer of ghosts and stuff… well not ghosts so much as impressions. I believe people leave behind impressions so when you see a woman walking through your hall in an old flannel night gown, or a man from civil war times in your basement, your not seeing ghosts but the impressions they left behind. Lady In The Green Nightgown

When I was around ten or eleven years old, me and my family lived in this big house that was always a little creepy. Well I always slept on the couch so I could watch TV on the big screen.

One night I was watching TV like every night and in the middle of the living room ( the living room was huge) and an elderly woman with gray hair and a green flannel night gown was there. The odd thing was I couldn’t make out her face, it was blurred. I looked at her and this may sound strange but she was going around in circles as if she was dancing.

Strange Occurences At Grandma Daisy’s House

Okay, to inform you, this story happened 3 years ago, a year before my great grandmother, Daisy, died. I was 12, and I loved visiting my grandma. I was almost always there, a fact that bothered my cousins Perry and Jean. They lived there with their mom, my aunt, and they didn’t really like me. They thought I was annoying, but I never really talked to them. Perry was 13, and Jean was 16. I had my own room in the house, which was bigger than everyone else’s, and I really think I was grandma Daisy’s favorite grandchild.

One night, while I was spending the night there, I was helping my grandma make meatloaf. All of the sudden, all the ingredients fell on the floor. No one had touched it, no one was near it. Haunted Harbor

So this one day me and a couple of friends were looking for ghost sightings on the internet, located near our home town. We found one called Haunted Harbor that dated back to around 1936. The story was about a fisherman who was extremely greedy and headstrong and decided to try and run in all his lobster traps in one night, unfortunately that night there were high North Easters and the waves were pretty high. He was almost back to the harbor and just entering the channel to take him there. His boat started to take on large amounts of water and he began to sink. His crew had time to bail, but he thought he could make it. He made it about halfway through the channel when the boat quit. The boat drifted back through the channel (which is a rare occurrence) and out to sea, the fisherman was never seen again.

Haunted House On Kagel Canyon

I’ve had several encounters with ghosts but this story is from my teen years.

When I was 13 my parents bought a house at the end of Kagel Canyon. The house itself was originally one of the bunk houses for the mission nearby. Each room added was from a different area. Our neighbors were about a quarter of a mile away and were gardeners.

The house can actually be seen in the 1970′s movie Smokey and the Bandit.

I felt comfortable in the house but knew it was haunted. My sister married right after we moved there and left, and was glad, she felt very uncomfortable there. My parents left me alone for weekends a lot while they went off with friends or to go away for sometimes a week.

My Daughter Sees Ghosts Since Her Fathers Death

My daughters father was killed when she was three years old by a drunk driver, and she has been talking and seeing ghosts since then. Now she is 11 1/2 years old, she not only sees and talks to them, she also sees people getting killed, and sees dead bodies at different places.

I took her to the doctor and had her evaluated and they tried to give her medication but took them from her when they did not work, they said it is just a gift of the third eye, which is in the center of your forehead, and some people just are gifted and able to communicate with the spiritual realm.

What do you think? She is not afraid of them, but sometimes it happens so much during the day when we go to the doctors office or hospitals it happens a lot. She’ll tell me what happened in an accident and if the patient will die or …

Nana’s Visit

Before this incident I was neither a believer or a non-believer, but afterwards there has been no doubt in mind that ghosts are very much a real thing.

My great-grandmother who we referred to as Nana died in 1986 after spending her last 10 or so years living with her daughter, my grandmother. She had the back room of the house with a twin bed in the corner of the room. After her passing, my grandmother didn’t change the room much with the bed staying where it always had been.

Ten years after her death my family was enjoying a Thanksgiving meal as we always do. And as always, I ate so much turkey and other goodies that I started to fall asleep while watching the Dallas game. I wanted to take a comfortable nap so I walked into Nana’s room and laid down on her bed.

Hello, these are things that have happened to me and my parents.

First, I’ll tell of my encounters: I was sitting up in bed reading one night and it was about 10:30. I didn’t have the TV on that night and I heard what sounded like a man talking outside my window and I couldn’t make out what he was saying. My family and I live out in the country and we live about a mile apart, so nobody could have been outside at that time without me knowing.

Letting Go Of The Ghost Of My Father

Being only 31 years old, My Dad joined the Army. He was a very muscular man and was my bestfriend. Anyway, My Dad was deployed to Iraq on January 21, 2005. Little did we know that was what would take his life. On April 24, 2005 An Improvised Explosive Device hit the side of his humvee, and killed him instantly.
