Strange Happenings all My Life

I remember dealing with strange happenings from the time I was about twelve. For the longest time it was my mom, two sisters, my brother and I.

One summer my mom met a man and would often leave us with our older sister while they went out. We were watching TV one night and my brother had fallen asleep. Haunted Cemetery in the Ozarks

This is another story about my experiences in the Ozark Mountains of North West Arkansas. As you may recall from my previous submission, Old Haunted Church/ School House in the Ozarks, there is an Old Civil War Cemetery (Ft. Douglas Cemetery) adjacent to the Church House. This story takes place in that very cemetery later that same night.

As I have said we had some friends with us as well as a few cousins close to our age, and we got together and decided to scare the new-comers. We were still hyped-up from the day-trip to the Church, so we thought it would be fun to play a practical joke on our friends. We made arrangements with some older cousins and relatives, including my mama and aunt,(who had accompanied us there earlier that day), to leave out ahead of us and lie in wait in the cemetery.

I am reading a very interesting book about a woman, who through lucid dreaming, makes contact with the spirits of the dead who need help and guidance to go on to the ‘other side’. I have done extensive research with lucid dreams and found the book to be fascinating enough because the author talks about them but when I realized that she actually made contact with “ghosts” and helped to guide them I was hooked.

At the time I was living with my older brother and his family. We had moved in to this old farm style house that was up on a hill. It looks like a normal house from the outside but a whole lot different in the inside. William Mumler and the First Ghost Pictures

In 1861 when a Boston photographer named William H. Mumler discovered that “extras” could appear in a photo if the glass plate were a recycled one with a residual image. Spiritualism by then being all the rage, Mumler began to produce “spirit photographs” for credulous sitters, including – after the assassination of her husband – Mary Todd Lincoln. Eventually Mumler was exposed when it was discovered that some of the alleged spirits in his photos were still-living Bostonians!

There were – and are – many ways to produce fake spirit photos in addition to double exposures. One technique was used in earlier times when long exposures were necessary. A suitably garbed assistant would slip from behind a curtain, stand briefly, then disappear again – this taking place behind the unaware sitter who was intent on remaining motionless. Black Mist Cloud Entity

I’m a male whom has had similar experiences with the black mist / cloud entity (White Figure and the Black Mist) before.

To explain my experiences it begins as a kid at age 6 – 7. We lived in an apartment building that was known to be haunted by sprits / demons / ghosts / vampires / supernatural / unknown. This was confirmed by my siblings other family members and other residents living in the building.
