My sister’s ninth birthday is an occasion I’ll never forget because of a wonderful little tormentor from Hell. During the events of her birthday party my mother made my sister promise that no matter how tempting the gifts were she wouldn’t open them until all the guests left because my mother worried that with kids being kids my sister might say something about a present that’d offend one of the guests.

Needless to say my mother was visibly upset when she spotted my sister happily cuddling a white bear as she blew out the candles on her cake. The Haunted Cabin In Big Bear

My family and I had been planning a trip to Big Bear Mountain. As we got out of the car and inside the big beautiful cabin my mom and I heard heavy footsteps upstairs. We both thought our minds were playing tricks on us so we kept it to ourselves and decided to keep quiet and enjoy the luxurious cabin.

Some Thing Blacker Than Night

I live near Cincinnati, OH. On Wednesday, 22 April, 2009 I experienced what I believe was a brush with some kind of entity in my kitchen and basement. It was about 10:00 PM and the house was feeling a bit cool. I decided to check the thermostat. I raised the setting but the furnace didn’t kick on. I decided to go to the basement and hit the reset button on the furnace.

As I live alone, I’m accustomed to moving about the entire house in the dark; I save on electricity that way. That night all the lights in the house were out except for one in the living room. The kitchen door area leading to the basement was pitch black, but somehow it felt “thick” as I stood there for a moment.

Visit From Departed Wife

I have been working as a mental health professional for about 10 years.  I had a unique experience with an elderly gentleman that I was asked to provide grief counseling that has cemented in my mind, that after we pass from this life we are not completely gone. This happened about a year ago.

The man, in his 80′s, had presented to his doctor crying uncontrollably explaining that his wife of 60 years had passed away a month before and he was having a terrible time coping with her passing.  As you can imagine this gentleman was very distraught by the time he made it to my office.  He was crying so hard that by the time he left my office an entire box of Kleenex was gone.  We talked for nearly an hour and a half as he chronicled the day they met until her final moments.  He produced a photo, taken sometime around WWII of a beautiful smiling …

My Friendly Ghosts

I know many people have their own opinions and beliefs on ghosts and the paranormal. I used to be kinda skeptical about them but now I believe, ever since I moved in this house only four years ago and that’s when I started to realize that my first encounters were real, and these spirits were freaky, but friendly.

My house was built in 1921 and it’s had it’s troubles. Been on fire once and quite a few people have died living in this house throughout the years. It is said that two women (one in her mid 30′s or 40′s and an old 80 year old), a little boy, and a dog have been killed. I don’t know much about the people’s stories but I do know that the dog suffocated in our bathtub, breathing through the drain, while trying to escape the fumes when the house was on fire. Dad Visited Me The Night He Died

The ghost of my father resounds in my minds eye, and, memory quite often I’m now sixty years old, this paranormal experience started for me on January 28th 1968 I was 18 yrs old.

My father passed away at the age of 41 years on Jan 28, 1968 at  exactly 7:30 am. The reason I am so sure of the time is we were both sitting next to each other watching a TV comedy called F Troop, it started at 7:00 PM and ended at 7:30 PM. Well, when the show ended my father also ended, he had a massive heart attack at approx. 7:30 PM. I immediately called the emergency number of that time period and on that evening, being an eagle Scout at the time, I tried to revive him with CPR to no avail, By the time the EMT came to try to revive him, he was already dead.

Terrifying Sleep Paralysis Experience

About 12 years ago I had an experience with sleep paralysis. As far as I can recall it is the one and only time I have ever went through it.

I was in bed asleep and I woke up feeling a very heavy sense of terror. I mean I was freaked out, I felt so scared. This myth begins at the very creation of man and of Lilith (the first woman created for Adam).

So God created man and woman in his own image and blessed them. Many have made her a model for feminism, because when Adam would not relent in his domination of her, she grew so angry that she uttered the Holy name of God and vanished.

God then had to make Eve for Adam, making her of his rib bone, so that she would be attached to him and not leave as Lilith had done.

Here, Lilith went out to the Red Sea, where she made a bargain with the Angels and she was allowed to stay out on her own, as a witch, and MOTHER OF ALL DEMONS.

Chester And Other Ghosts

I am surrounded by ghosts, the older I grow the more their numbers increase. The most fearsome of these are the ghosts of what may have been but the most memorable are the ghosts of my youth for they are a part of my being.

I met the first ghost of my life in a two-story farm house near a large town in Kansas. The home was built in 1878 but that is not to say we had dirt floors and a sod roof. The first extensive remodeling of the home had taken place shortly before my family moved in and consisted of a general modernization and converting the front downstairs bedroom into a living room. In addition the lower floor held a dining room, kitchen and bathroom. Up a centrally located stairway were three bedrooms in a reverse L pattern.
