How to Experience Lucid Dreams

You Can Experience Lucid Dreaming

The ‘Dream World’ is truly a fascinating place. A veritable universe that expands infinitely within our minds and perhaps even beyond those limits. It is a place to which we often go but may rarely remember. The Dream World is full of mystery and possibilities, it is a frontier that can be accessed by any one of us.

Have you ever experienced a lucid dream? A lucid dream is, simply put, a dream in which you are aware that you are dreaming. I can tell you from personal experience that once you find yourself fully lucid in a dream you will be astounded and amazed at what you discover. The world is yours to discover or to play with…

Lucid in the Dream World

What if you could dream and know that you were dreaming? Completely aware that you are in the “dream world.”

Sleep Paralysis and the Black figure

Hi, my name is Laura, I’m 18 and live in England and I just wanted to share my experience of sleep paralysis.

Basically I’d been lying in bed just ‘nodding’ as it were, it was morning around 8 am and at that time I’d been practicing going into lucid dreams a lot but only being successful a couple of times.

So I ended up falling into lucidness only to get excited and ‘wake up’ from it and going into sleep paralysis. I remember seeing my room completely as it was, one of my curtains open, one shut so I get some light only it was blurry, then I realized I couldn’t move a muscle and naturally I began to panic. As I was still staring straight ahead I saw a huge black figure standing over me, I could feel it was evil and it hated me. It hated everything about the living. I continued to stare at it when I …

Lucid Dream with Jesus and Lucifer

A few years ago, I went through a very hard time. I had lost my job, all my bills were past due, and I was about to get evicted. Things seemed hopeless and I was very depressed. One night I was feeling so bad, that I decided to go to a nearby Catholic church and pray. My faith is all I had left. It was late in the evening, so I didn’t even know if it would be open. When I arrived the doors were locked and as I turned to leave, a man that was standing in the darkness(I didn’t know he was there)asked me if I was looking for the Chapel? I nodded and he showed me the way. I thanked him and went inside.

I went to the very back row and just sat there crying. I felt so helpless. I prayed for what seemed like an eternity, asking the Lord to guide me through this difficult …

Lucid Dreams and the Tall People

I wouldn’t say I am any more psychic than most people, but I have clocked up a number of paranormal experiences in my 43 years so far. This includes one home that was haunted, a couple of haunted workplaces and even, when I was about 14, my dad seeing the “ghost” of ME one night at a time when I was ill (but not at all life-threateningly ill, as you might expect).

But the experiences I’m writing about now are something quite different; I don’t even know what category they would come under: astral travel, altered states of consciousness, aliens, fairies, ghosts/ spirits, inter-dimensional travel or simply a vivid imagination!

The experiences started when I was about 26, and continued for just over a year. (They might even still be going on, only I don’t remember them.) I want to write about them because I’d be interested to know if anyone has experienced similar and/ or can explain them. I …

Growing up Haunted in Sydney Part 17

Have you read the previous parts of this story? Growing up Haunted in Sydney Part 1

After our experiences growing up, being open minded about the paranormal meant my mother, sisters and I all researched what ever we could on the subject. We experimented with transcendental meditation, astral travel and mediumship. We find we tend to have what we call a bit of ‘gut instinct’ about things usually… which are usually found to be right.

After a serious work injury in 1980, I was taught self hypnosis as a method of pain control and ended up with a strange and unexpected side effect. I started to lucid dream and have pre-cognitive dreams. Lucid dreaming is when you are in a dream state but become conscious you are in a dream. So while in theory being fully conscious in a dream sound ludicrous – it is possible to be ‘awake’ and conscious inside a dream state. I have since researched and …

Some Strange Dreams

I’m 26 and often have nightmares. Some are so vivid and disturbing they stay with me most of the next day. I’d like to tell a few lucid ones.

One night id been asleep for a few hours when I either sat up in bed or was dreaming that I did. I was looking straight ahead of me into the corner of my room in front of my closet. Standing there in front of my closet and next to my chest of drawers was a small boy of about the age of 6.

He was dressed in a navy blue jumper and jeans, he was a little taller than my chest of drawers and had short brown hair.He started to come towards me and reached out his hand towards my face. I recoiled and moved back further up the bed.He stretched forward and touched my chin, well this really freaked me out because I felt it and his hand felt …

Fringe Dweller on the Nightshift

Book Review

I am reading a very interesting book about a woman, who through lucid dreaming, makes contact with the spirits of the dead who need help and guidance to go on to the ‘other side’. I have done extensive research with lucid dreams and found the book to be fascinating enough because the author talks about them but when I realized that she actually made contact with “ghosts” and helped to guide them I was hooked.

Imagine being able to help those who cannot accept their fate or find their way on to the next “level”!

“Monica’s life purpose on earth is to assist souls to move to the other side during a traumatic death. Her ability to reach into the world of spirit and work with the souls there puts her in a league with Stuart Wilde, Sylvia Browne, John Edward, and Rosemary Altea.” ~ Carolyn Long, Psychotherapist

Haunted By A Creature from My Lucid Dreams

I was 17 at the time and had been involved in tarot readings and palm readings for friends, family, and schoolmates who would pay me to read them. I was good at what I did, had a natural talent and was open to the supernatural. I had run with a general bad crowd of misfits for almost two years.

It was the end of spring beginning of summer when I began to have really intense lucid dreams involving a “vampire” that turned into me opening a forgotten door into this world that was in a veil of darkness and twilight. There were no trees, no air, just a permanent stillness and heaviness in the air. Chunks of rock and barren dark land stretched out as far the eye could see and in the center of this barren rocky Martian landscape was this chunk of rocky cliff that seemed to just float in mid air above everything and in its center …
