I was around 8 years old when I had my first encounter. Me and my two friends wanted to know about who the ghost was. We asked a few questions to the ghost during recess one day. The ghost said she was a girl. She also said her name was Katherin. I thought she was my friend because her name was the same as my mother’s. But my mother’s name was spelled with a “C” and had an “e” at the end. During school I would have flash backs about her life. She was beautiful, her hair was long and brown and she always wore a white dress.

Scared to Sleep

Okay, so here we go. This all started around a year and a half ago, near the end of my eighth grade year. Or at least that was when I had begun to observe it.

So last year, I had my room full of Jonas Brothers posters. I was obsessed. My room had posters hanging from the ceiling and everywhere you can think of. It got to the point where I hade to duck and weave to get to my bed. So, one night, I was up really late reading and listening to music. After taking a bathroom break, I began to walk down the stairs to my room. Suddenly, a bunch of my posters flew up and around. I didn’t have a fan blowing, no windows open, nothing. So I ran back upstairs screaming some unintelligent words and slept in my little sisters room that night.

Paranormal Plus Investigation

When I started delving into paranormal investigation years ago, my adventures were done alone and with little more than a disposable camera, compass, flashlight, and a set of brass balls. Over time, I collected more sophisticated tools of the trade, like an EMF detector, infrared cameras, etc. The set of brass balls remained a constant. Eventually, I joined professional paranormal investigation teams, began traveling to purported haunted locations throughout the country, and even did some scouting for MTV’s Fear program.

Over the years, I’ve visited hundreds of cemeteries, and my camera’s caught flying orbs near Poe’s grave in Baltimore, squiggly strings of white light that wove through tombs in old family plots in Nebraska, and child-size shadows perched atop two headstones in Atlanta, Georgia. Oddly enough, the cemetery known as the most haunted in America, Big Woods Cemetery, offered nothing but hungry mosquitoes.

My Sons Imaginary Friend or Ghost?

I am a 31 year old mother of three.  In 1999 I had my first son. When my son was about 2 and a half years old we moved to Mesquite, Texas, to live in an apartment because my husband’s job was there. Our permanent address was in San Juan, Texas.

After a while of living in the second floor apartment, my son started to play and talk to an imaginary friend. He called his friend Culises. We did not think too much about it because we thought it was normal, being he was an only child. After some time our son began to include his friend in all of our activities.

When we would travel back home my son would take his friend with us and did not want us to place anything on the spot that Culises was sitting at. He would take him to the store and everywhere we went Culises would go.

Scary Family Experiences

In this story, I will tell you all of the scary paranormal experiences some of my family have had throughout the years:

My Uncle was at our cabin in Maine with his friends, his mom, and I. He happened to wake up from a dead sleep and something was drawing him to the window. He finally got out of bed and looked out of the window and he saw it. Across the lake there was a huge sailboat with the sails down and there was no sign of life. He watched the boat for a few minutes and then went back to bed. When he woke up the next morning, he asked everyone in the house if they had seen it and everyone denied seeing anything. My Fathers Demon that Almost Killed Me

This story is completely true, I’m 17 now and my father recently had told me what had happen when I was the age of 7. This is what my father had explained to me, and why it was his fault he almost killed me.

My father was only a teenager, 14 years old he didn’t know any better. He was walking around with his cousin one day who was about two years older then my father. He decided to take him to his buddies house, they were good friends and Have been when they were babies until now. I call this good friend of my fathers cousin “Uncle”.

The Haunted Bird Lady’s House

The following story happened to me about a year ago. Now how this all began is I was twelve years old, and my family and I had just moved down to a town near the Gulf of Mexico, in the lone star state. My dad had found a house for us just before we moved. We never really got to see much of it until we were already moved in. All we knew was that it was in close proximity to the beach, and was a bright, and when I say bright, I mean bright shade of Green.

The Philadelphia Experiment

This reminds me of a TV documentary show I watched many years ago. About a government experiment done towards the end of WWII called the “Philadelphia experiment”. The experiment was to find some way to camouflage large naval ships by using magnetism which was suppose to make the ships seem to become invisible.

So the story goes. The ship they conducted this test upon was manned by a small crew of scientist and sailors, and a few tethered animals. And there was an ample contingent of support and observation ships with some top brass on board those to document what happens. The Ghost in the Bathroom

About five weeks ago, I was watching a Doctor Who episode before I went to bed. It was set in the Tudor times. At the bottom of our stairs, there is a bathroom. Every night, before I go upstairs, I always look inside the bathroom and at the door, because I’m kinda superstitious. That night, I looked inside the bathroom and at the door and I started to climb the stairs. About five steps up, I thought I felt a breeze behind me so I looked round at the bathroom door.

When I’d left the bathroom, I’d left the door about two inches wide but when I looked again it was wide open. The Homestead Spirits

I’d like to start off by saying that this isn’t about one dramatic experience or event, but a lot of little things over time that have built up, and recently seem to have started escalating.

I live in a house by a pine forest. We’re the original owners of the house, my parents having built it about a year after my older sister was born. We’ve had numerous pets come and go, but only one person has ever died on the property: my mother. The experiences we’ve had extend far before that event, and people other than my family have had similar events in the house.

We have two spirits on the property: The Warden and The Darkness in the Basement. We’ve also had numerous small experiences throughout the rest of the house.

My Childhood Fear

My story begins many years ago as a young boy of about seven or eight. For some reason my family always gave my baby sister dolls. Not the small Barbie type dolls, but the larger dolls that were about the size of a toddler complete with clothing and eyes that would open and close if laid on their backs. They were always quite eerie to me!

I came from a poor catholic family and we lived in a small home so my mother, father and sister shared a room along with my sister in her crib. I had my own closet sized bedroom. To show appreciation of the dolls my sister was given, they were hung around the perimeter of my bedroom. Needless to say I hated this, but what could I say?
