Creaking Stairs

I lived in a house that was over 100 years old in a farming town of about 400 people or so in the Midwest. One of my friends used to live in this house but moved after their father had died. My friend, Chuck, had told me stories of ghosts in the house before his father passed. Some of which were confirmed by his mother. I was skeptical. We nicknamed the house the castle because it had turret/spire or what ever you call it.

Stories of a Haunted Mansion

My grandma works as a tour guide at a old 16th century mansion. At that time that was the largest mansion for the 16th century. Four very important families have lived there throughout the years. The first family was a woman and she died in her bedroom. Every family who lived in there all died in the mansion, all in that bedroom.

Now the mansion is open for people to use for tours. My grandma works in the lower level in the gift shop. Also her job is to turn off all the lights when the day is over. Don’t ask me why she has that job to turn off the lights. I would never ever choose that job, but my grandma does.

Demons In My Life

I recently wrote a true story about Ghosts and Demons in My Life. Well this is about something even more dark and it is true I would not make this up. I’m just hoping someone might hear it and offer help.

When my mom was pregnant with me she used to live in Kim Kay apartments. Kay is my middle name. My mom and dad were coming back from the store and their car broke down mysteriously in the road. This black van came by to help but it wasn’t just a regular van or a regular guy. This van had a grim reaper painted on it. The van was black, the grim reaper was holding a sickle and the man looked like a devil worshipper. Perhaps he was possessed by a demon, I think he was. The reason I know so much detail is because my mom told me about it.

Bizarre Experience with Black Cats

Amazing, never thought I would ever stumble across another person who has had an experience involving black cats like myself. I was only six at the time when I had this beyond strange experience, but I know it happened, I know what I saw!

One afternoon I was upstairs in my parents room playing, and the door was open to their private walkout (porch). Ten Years in a Haunted House

I grew up in a house which was supposedly haunted. I was very young whilst living there, so my family never informed me of their experiences because they didn’t want to scare me. They only told me when we moved house.

In my old house, these were some of the things my family experienced:

*My mother’s boyfriend seeing an image of an old woman looking at him in the master bedroom.
*My brother having the sheets pulled off him one night when he was sleeping.
*My sister, myself and my mother saw someone leaning over us and staring at us whilst laying in the master room on the bed.
*I myself experienced seeing a woman pass me on the landing in the dead of the night, this woman dressed in Victorian clothing.
*My mother experienced being poked harshly in the leg on many occasions.
*All of my family have said they have felt weird presences in the house ever since …

Haunted Family and La Laorna

This isn’t one of those really good stories or anything, but this is true!

These are a couple things that have happened to me and my family over the years. Once when I was five, we think we saw La Laorna because it was midnight and our house was next to an alley and we saw a lady with a flowing white gown and she was two feet above the ground. She disappeared then was probably three feet in front of us but, she had no face. We ran inside and when we looked out the window she looked at us, turned around, and faded away.

We didn’t hear of her for three years. Then one day my mom sent my brother to get some tomatoes from the fields and he came back crying saying a lady was chasing him and wouldn’t stop. My mom went to check but nobody was there.

Ghostly Experiences that Stick with Me

One night, a friend and I were walking to my house. The street we were on was dark. All of a sudden this red light appeared. It seemed like it was floating directly in front of us. It would shine really bright and then it’ll dim down. It repeatedly did that. If we tried to walk around it, we couldn’t and when we would turn around to walk back the other way, it would still be there! Eventually the light disappeared and we ran all the way to my home. Can anyone explain that?

Paranormal Caught in Pictures?

Today I am posting a few interesting pictures that were sent in to us by Karen Morfu. Karen is interested in what others might think about these pictures. Was something paranormal caught by the photographer? There is certainly a lot of controversy over the legitimacy of ghost pictures but that in no way rules out the possibilities that something supernatural may actually be caught on “film”.

At first glance you might be tempted to say that what is actually in these pictures is a camera strap or cable. I mentioned this to her and she said, “there was no strap like that on the camera, I know there are a lot of people who are skeptics out there, even here in France they said that it was because of a light in the window, but the same thing showed up in the restaurant.”

Ghosts on Floor Fifteen Carew Tower

Hello my name is Nick, I’m a 43 year old male from Cincinnati, Ohio. I do security work for the Carew Tower in downtown Cincinnati which now is the tallest and one of the oldest buildings here. I’m going to tell you a story here that’s made me a believer of ghosts, before I didn’t believe in that junk mostly Hollywood, smoke and mirrors I use to think until I worked the Carew Tower.

It all started when I started working here six months ago, while being trained by a fellow guard we will call “Ed” he told me that the building is haunted on some of its floors and he added that the 15th floor is where most of its encounters happen. The Tall Man and a Past Life

I have some weird stuff that happens in my house. No I’m not Wiccan. My religion tells me not to believe in ghosts or vampires. But after this stuff how can I not? Its troubling, and confusing, but these are true events.

Black Cat back from the Dead

You can say what you want and I really hope that there may be someone out there who might have experience in truth or myth about the 9 lives of cats or someone who can give me a story of your own that can compare with this.

I will start out with the events that this event made me wonder if it had something to do with them. First of all, my husband had a major heart attack accompanied by a stroke that left him disabled. He had to learn how to walk and talk again. His speech was slurred. He had to have a feeding tube in his stomach because his food would go into his lungs and he couldn’t tell so they call it silent aspiration. He could choke to death and no one would even know he was choking.

The Perfect Soldier

I only wish I could call this a fictional story.  Sadly this is the true story of my possession and one experience I will never forget.

A perfect soldier is all that I have ever wanted to be. Since I was young I had always dreamed to serve my country as a Canadian Forces officer. So you could imagine my thrill when I was finally accepted into the Royal Military College in Kingston, Ontario. Four years of hard work would turn me into a great soldier and a fantastic leader.  Who knew that it would all go so wrong?
