Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

This isn’t one of those really good stories or anything, but this is true!

These are a couple things that have happened to me and my family over the years. Once when I was five, we think we saw La Laorna because it was midnight and our house was next to an alley and we saw a lady with a flowing white gown and she was two feet above the ground. She disappeared then was probably three feet in front of us but, she had no face. We ran inside and when we looked out the window she looked at us, turned around, and faded away.

We didn’t hear of her for three years. Then one day my mom sent my brother to get some tomatoes from the fields and he came back crying saying a lady was chasing him and wouldn’t stop. My mom went to check but nobody was there.

A couple months later we went to San Antonio. We went into the Menger Hotel, which is very haunted, and I went into this old phone booth shut the doors and played with the phone. Then I heard a scream and opened the doors and asked if they had heard it too. They just shook their heads saying no.

Not until last week we went back to San Antonio and got a room at the St. Anthony’s Hotel. I went to the restroom and flushed the toilet. Then ten more times all by itself. I ran out and went to bed. During the night our toilet flushed two times and someone knocked on our door. My brother said there was an African American man that had woke him during the night. And we heard a weird bell sound. Only me and my brother heard these noises.

My great great great grandma told me something that had happened to her friend. She had told me it was true. She had a friend that had asked her to come and play but the little girl who had asked was suppose to get water for her mom. She came and told her mom that my great great great grandma was going to come and play. The mom asked where her water was and the little girl said she didn’t want to get it. So the mom punished her. The little girl started yelling at her mom and being mean. Next thing you know, they can’t find her so they go searching in the woods. There was a really bad smell. They say when you smell that smell it’s the devil. So they called the priest. They found pieces of the girl’s clothing on cactuses and then found her body My great great great grandma was crying because she had lost her best friend.
