Vampire Walking on the Horizon

Three nights ago, when the sky was dark blue and it was turning night, I went jogging in Arizona. And then I got sweaty and had a cup of ice cold water and went out to my mailbox with my key and then I saw this boy and he wore a brown shirt with a collar and blue jeans. He had black sneakers and his face was kind of pale but his lips were blue like they had been chilly or something. He had black hair. And brown eyes.

He waved to me but I pretended like he wasn’t there and then he said, “Mister, don’t go straight and to the left and even more left, something very horrible is up there.” I said, “Okay.” He then walked away and I have never been to the place he described and I don’t have the guts to check it out, not even with a partner.

I then thought it was a …

The Encyclopedia of the Undead

A Field Guide to the Creatures that Cannot Rest in Peace

Recently I have been reading a really cool book written by Dr. Bob Curran and titled Encyclopedia of the Undead. This book is 312 pages with all sorts of information about “things” like Vampires, Werewolves, Zombies, Voodoo, Ghouls, Golems and other nightmarish creatures and entities.

One thing I really like about the Encyclopedia of the Undead is the index. A good reference book must have a thorough index and this one does.

Whether you are doing research on a particular culture’s myths, legends and stories about creatures like this or you just want to read a good book this one fits the bill. I don’t get as much time to read as I would like to and I usually have bookmarks stuck in several different books at once but the Encyclopedia of the Undead was one I could hardly put down. I read it from cover to cover and …

The Psychic Vampire

Let’s do this the AA way, shall we?

Hi, I’m Scarlet, and I’m a psi-vampire. Also called a Psy-Vampire, also called a Psychic vampire. I truly hope you know what this is, but if you don’t (or you want to know more), you’ve come to the right place. Although I’ve only known formally what I am for a few years, I’ve gathered up enough information to inform you.

A psi-vampire is a type of vampire (No, really?) that feeds mostly on prana, or life force. We are said to be born with an energy leak in our astral form. Sort of like a leaky faucet. So, to maintain our own life force, we drain others of theirs. Most of us go through life having NO IDEA we are doing this. If a person is exposed to an out of control drainer for an extended period of time, they can become physically ill. Just as the vampire can if they go …

Did I See a Vampire in Kentucky?

I’m 20 years old and I’m married to a U.S. Soldier. We got married last July and he moved me from my home town in Michigan all the way to Kentucky. I know it’s going to sound like I’m babbling, but I swear everything I say is relevant to the story. I’m not the type of person to believe in vampires. You could say I’m a complete skeptic. “I’ll believe it when I see it”, that’s my motto. and it was working out perfectly fine… Until I saw it!

I’m really not sure what happened to this day, we were living in a tiny house way out in the country, surrounded my nothing but cornfields. Here’s where the real story starts. My husband knows I love animals and he got me a puppy as a surprise. He was perfect and I named him Barney. If you can picture the perfect dog, that is him. he was potty trained really young, …

To People Claiming to be Vampires

As I’m guessing many regular visitors know, vampirism has been a big subject recently. Many people have come forward claiming to be one and writing stories about their “experiences”. I find this very interesting in this time, with vampires being so popular. Lets explore this.

Stories of vampirism have been around for hundreds, even thousands, of years but back then they were seen as monsters sneaking into your home to suck the very life essence out of you. There were thousands of deaths blamed on them, leading to corpses being dug up and mutilated in the name of the safety of the village. Of course, nobody came forward claiming to be a vampire, and that’s understandable. But in the “age of enlightenment”, still nobody stepped forward with these claims.

Vampires My Thoughts And Experiences

In response to Do Vampires Exist?:

This was an extremely interesting article and having read it, it’s given me a new perspective on what I thought a vampire was and did. I still hold to what I truly believe in and have experienced myself, but this does give me the other end of the spectrum of what could possibly have happened, has happened, and is.

I’m a person who believes in a lot of things and I guess you could say I have creativity and imagination, which would explain as to why I hold onto beliefs of so many mythical legends and beings. I basically believe that most of everything mythical is real because every story has some truth to it whether it has been washed down over the years or not, but every story ever created has started out true or had tidbits of truth to it. It’s only as the story has been passed down from generation …

The First Vampire

This myth begins at the very creation of man and of Lilith (the first woman created for Adam).

So God created man and woman in his own image and blessed them. Many have made her a model for feminism, because when Adam would not relent in his domination of her, she grew so angry that she uttered the Holy name of God and vanished.

God then had to make Eve for Adam, making her of his rib bone, so that she would be attached to him and not leave as Lilith had done.

Here, Lilith went out to the Red Sea, where she made a bargain with the Angels and she was allowed to stay out on her own, as a witch, and MOTHER OF ALL DEMONS.

Do Vampires Exist?

A seemingly innocent question that once confounded an array of people, resulting in much controversy and dispute, yet now in contemporary times, this question is considered by the vast majority to be ludicrous and nonsensical; no more then mere ineffable trash, with evidence being non-existent, however this has never been the case.

A seemingly innocent question that once confounded an array of people, resulting in much controversy and dispute, yet now in contemporary times, this question is considered by the vast majority to be ludicrous and nonsensical; no more then mere ineffable trash, with evidence being non-existent, however this has never been the case.

Evidence supporting the existence of vampires has always existed in our society, since the spawning of these creatures. They have simply been well-hidden from the public as have many things… (aliens/UFOs and werewolves)

One obvious piece of evidence would be the fact that there are descriptions of vampires from an array of existing …

Many Paranormal Experiences Have Things In Common

A lot of stories here have things in common. I have had some of the same paranormal things happen to me as well.

Once, when I was working third shift, I arrived home at 7:00 in the morning and my husband was leaving for work. My seven year old and three year old were asleep on each end of the sofa. I went down the to the bedroom that would be in sight and hearing of my daughters and thought I would nap until they got up.

I fell asleep for awhile, then woke up with the feeling that someone else was in the house that should not be there. I thought that if I pretended to be asleep they would take what they wanted and leave. I was terrified.

Vampires Are Everywhere

Would you like to know more about vampirism and vampire culture? Vampires are everywhere. There might even be one living on your street.

Most of us have some serious misconceptions about vampires. This has come from the tremendous effect “Hollywood” has had upon us. People who wanted to sell films and movies didn’t necessarily know anything, or research thoroughly. They merely wanted to entertain. In the process vampire myths and fallacies have been imprinted upon generations of people.

Do vampires really depend upon drinking the blood of the ‘living’ to survive? Are they prisoners of the night time never able to see daylight?
