The Uncle I Never Met

During the time Hurricane Irene was hitting South Carolina where my Uncle Earl lived, he passed away from a stroke. I actually told my mom the day he died to call him and ask if he had made it off the island he lived on. My mother did not have his phone number. My Aunt Pattie came by that Monday stating he had passed and my mom’s first thought was he had got caught on the island but he did not it was a stroke.

Shadow People Aren’t Necessarily Evil

Ever since I was a child I had a shadow in the form of a human being that followed me, I would feel it over my shoulder and it would dissipate away when I looked at it. The Shadow grew with me over time and I began to ignore the apparition over time but knew it was always there. Nobody else saw it though and I did mention it to my family.

My Grandfathers Ghost

In 1974, when I was in the US army stationed in Stuttgart Germany I was visited by my Grandfathers Ghost. I was in our barracks on a winter afternoon when I looked out the window of our room and saw my Grandfather looking in. As my Grandparents liked to travel a lot I thought nothing of it and assumed that they were here in Germany to visit me. I put my boots and field jacket on as it was both cold and there was a lot of snow on the ground and went outside to talk to my Grandfather and Grandmother. When I got around to the other side of the barracks, the ground had no footprints on it except the ones I was making.

Death Anniversary

This happened around the month of June 2006 when I was 18. Previously we squat at my aunts lot owned by my fathers elder sister. Since they will be building an apartment on the said lot we were forced to move at my other aunts lot (eldest sister of my father).
We occupied the vacant space before my uncles house which is also situated on that lot. My uncle (father’s younger brother) who owns the house died in June 2003 at the age of 40 due to diabetes, tuberculosis and other complications.

When we decided to move on my aunts lot,a few months later the family who rents my uncles house moved to a different place where they now stayed for good.

Eastern State Encounter

I’ve been familiar with this website for years, and I have posted many stories in the past, but what happened to me last night was life changing. You see, my mom calls me a “magnet” for the paranormal, like there’s a huge neon sign above my head that says -INFORMATION HERE- and spirits come to me, whether it’s for help or they are angry or annoyed that I know that they are there. I’ve seen, heard, and communicated with ghosts in the past but I never had been physically touched or harmed by anything, not even the negative presence in my house.

Hello, I once wrote for this website, the topic called Story of my Ancestors, where the readers wanted me to write more. Considering here is about ghost stories, my story will be about a faerie. I don’t know much about this particular faerie, the truth is I never really spoke with him.

Child Like Shadow Being / Ghost?

Hello everyone! As some of you may know, I am a “regular” on this site! I am submitting a story about recent events that have happened to me. Not long ago, my husband and I were lying in bed one morning, as we had just woken up and were being a bit lazy. Scary Indian Farm House

So whenever we hear something like that we try to go and investigate if possible. We have spent couple of weekends doing such things like setting up an audio recording instrument, sometimes a camera too and obviously night watches; but the experience we had at a friend’s house last month was not only scary but it was our first real encounter with something supernatural. Is My House Haunted?

I live in Johannesburg South Africa and what I’m about to tell you is true.

My friends always used to stay over at my house and then the next day they would tell me that they would hear things. Most of the odd happenings would happen in my lounge area. Here are a few of the things I have experienced.

One night a few of my girlfriends and I were lying on the mattress we turned into a bed in the lounge watching movies. We all fell asleep shortly after the movie started. Helping a Ghost Went Wrong

My husband and I were messing around with an EVP of the supposed ghost at our apartment. It was a nice ghost, it wanted us to read it a certain favorite of the Bible for him. Then everything went so wrong.

We played back the recordings and had multiple bad spirits on it, including little demons. The bad spirits got so mad at us that in one of the recordings we took, it took a form of our voice and was talking to each other about going to the kitchen and turning the stove on to kill us.

We watched them all night, me husband, me and the dog could see their shadows hiding around trying to sneak around to the kitchen.

After numerous hours of us praying, and singing wonderful Christian songs and reading the Bible the shadows finally seized around 6 in the morning. We could still see a few spirits around, but not enough to be frightened. …

The Spirit of My Brother

Last week, my beloved brother Andrew passed away due to severe injury from a car accident. And this has happened just recently.

I was lying on my stomach and watching T.V, thinking about Andrew when I felt a part of the bed sink down as if someone sat on it. Andrew used to surprise me often by suddenly popping out of corners and jumping on my bed, and as I turned back to look, I got the smell of his perfume. I smiled and said softly “Andrew..” And I saw a glimpse of his face and then everything turned normal.

I love my brother and always will, and I know that he’s keeping a watch on us.

Poltergeists or Tricksters

I have read stories about mischievous spirits that like to do tricks and scare people. I’m not sure if anyone has experienced any of these. They claim that they are located where there is a lot of quartz rock in the area. We have a lot of it and a lot of sage in our area.

I have had such an entity in my home for a long time. It loves to make noise, especially late at night. Some nights it wakes me up and keeps me awake all night. The static electricity in the room is terrible.Some times when I get up at night, I get zapped real hard by the static electricity. Almost like I’m walking through something.

I read that it isn’t good to annoy them, because they can get worse, so I try to ignore it. I have also seen things in my room that look like small animals or toys.
