I Worked at a Haunted Nursery

I’ve had many supernatural experiences in my life, but there is one in particular that I’m going to tell you now which is still on-going.

Two years ago, I started work at a children’s nursery in the middle of the city I now live in. This nursery is connected to a college, and we have children who’s parents are either students there, or teach, as well as children from the community. At first glance, you’d never think it would have it’s fair share of spirits, until you found out that the nursery and connecting college used to be an old workhouse.

The Ghost and the Balloons

I am an individual who relies on the scientific method and reason to arrive at my own conclusions, so the truth is that I cannot say whether or not the events detailed below involved ghosts. Perhaps there is some other explanation, but I honestly do not see how anything other than the paranormal could be at the heart of them. In any event, for the past 12 plus years I have been a part time bartender at a dinner house/bar located in Newark, California called Swiss Park. Strange Things in My Haunted Workplace

Hi all just wanting to get your opinions on the following.

My workplace is quite small, small office downstairs 2 offices up top with a board room which is directly above the below offices. I’m the first one in and the last one to leave (lucky me right). Anyway there are times when I get in in the morning and it sounds like someone is walking around up stairs, or I’ll hear what sounds like the toilet flush. I have never gone up there when I hear this due to fear of seeing something that I don’t want to when alone.

There was one time when one of my colleagues went home early and soon as he went out the door the lights went off then back on as if someone had touched the switch nothing else did it, not even the kitchen lights just the one set of them.

My Job Was Haunted

Hi my name is Martica and I’m 20 years old I worked at my family restaurant since I was 15. When I first started working there wasn’t any activity. I don’t really remember when the activity started but I remember when I was 19 that’s when the activity was more intense. It made itself more known.

We would always be breaking glasses, glasses would fall off the bar rack by itself, a big bottle of liquor fell off a shelf and almost hit a bartender. The bathroom stall would always be broken no matter how many times you fixed it. In the basement, where we kept our inventory, the waiter and manager will hear someone calling their name.

Uninvited Dinner Guests in Rio Bravo Cantina

I have had more than a dozen experiences that I would not exactly call “normal” in my lifetime. I am known at work as the “Story Teller” and I am often accused of scaring my employees right before they leave at night. Although ALL of my stories are true. I thought it may be interesting to share some of my experiences with others like me. I often refer to the question when I start a story as “does their brain go there or not?” Meaning simply “Do you believe in ghosts?”

Haunted Michaels Craft Store

I use to work at Michaels Craft Store before it closed down in Montclair California. I was a manager there at the time, here is my ghost story.

One day before doors open for business, I was setting up a new end cap when I started to hear the women’s bathroom door slamming and water turning off and on, also the trash can was being tossed around against the walls. I ran upstairs as fast as I could to tell another manager what was going on, when she heard this she also told me that this place is haunted. We went to check it out, but nothing was disturbed.

The Sunny Inn

I had just opened a new business. The building was apparently around 100 years old, so I suspected a few creaking doors etc. But this was different – much different.

A few months after we opened for business, we had an elderly couple staying in a room. We weren’t very busy and by the end of the day, the elderly couple and 3 other guests, who were staying the same room, were the only remaining guests.

Paranormal Experiences in Nursing Assisted living Home

I used to work in a nursing/assisted living home for over a year and a half loved the job since the day I got it. The residents were awesome and so were the people I worked with. The home was big and had three sections in the building. In the front of the building was long term care, where the residents who need the extra care stayed, if you go down the elevator you would be entering personal care, which is the department that all the dementia and difficult patients used to say in. If you take a walk over to the next area they are the assisted living, people who can take care of them self but are either lonely or would like the little extra help.

Haunted Work Place?

I am going to start off with the history of this place. Well, in 1995 the store was built as a Krispy Kremes, and for ten years it stayed that way, after people had decided to close it down (by the way the store was real successful.) It stayed vacant.

Well to give you a description of what the area looks like across the street from it on the left is Gate gas station, it stands in front of a mini mall, and straight across from it is a Checkers, and it has an intersection in the area.

Workplace Horrors

Working up at the school (janitor) I’ve worked there for 21 years and never noticed anything until that night. Something happened one night that I’ve told my family over and over for years. The paranormal does exist.

I was working in the Tech wing one night up at the school such as I said before, minding my own business and cleaning the rooms of each class. My other coworkers had finished before me, letting me know where I had to clean certain rooms and reminding me of locking all doors.

Working Night Shift in a Care Home

They’re Never Really Gone

I work night shifts in a care home. I start at 8 pm and finish at 8 am, and a lot of unusual things have been seen there whilst working the night shift. Here are just a few.

Only the other night my friend had said she would make us a cup of tea to have on our break. I was in the staff room. As I came out of the staff room I was walking down the corridor to the kitchen area and I saw someone walk into the kitchen. I thought nothing of it as I thought it was just my friend who had gone in there to make the tea. I got there about 3 seconds later only to find nobody there. The kitchen is a dead end by the way so there is nowhere else for anybody to disappear to.

The Haunted Flower Shop

A few year’s back I was employed at a local flower shop as a floral Designer/delivery person. I noticed, very shortly after my employment began, that there was “something very strange” going on in the shop. It was summer time when I worked there; and I would wear shorts to work most of the time. The first strange thing I remember happening was while I was standing at my work station one day. I heard fast paced footsteps behind me. I could actually feel a breeze on the back of my legs whenever I would experience these footsteps passing behind me. I found this very peculiar.
