It was September of 1990 and some friends of mine took a weekend holiday and asked me to house sit for them. Their apartment was located in the Logan Square area on Sacramento Blvd. in Chicago. It was a gorgeous and huge apartment with a foyer and very large rooms. I had been there many times before but this time something felt different from the moment I stepped into the foyer.

I was with another person, a friend at the time, and as we got ourselves situated we decided to order pizza. Before the pizza arrived I took a shower in the master bathroom. Voices in My Room

I’ve been living in my apartment for a while now, I moved in just last winter. I didn’t really want to be here but what choice did I have.

For as long as I can remember, every time I experienced paranormal activity I’d tell my mom or friends but they always thought I was crazy and told me I’ve been watching too much TV. Or they would act like they believe me then when I turn my back to walk away I’d hear snickering.

A Ghost at Ground

After reading so many stories from India I am inspired to share my story as well. I have been doing my post graduation from the city called as Gwalior. Its an historic city with so many old palaces and monuments. After shifting to Gwalior I came to know that my best friend’s family is also shifted there. Her father was in Army and  got transferred to this city I was very happy because it was my another home away from home. It give me immense pleasure to spend my week end with this family. Then, a girl came up to us and asked if we wanted to play a game. So, we said yes and followed her to the kitchen where a Ouija board was set up. The Little Amish Boy

In 2008, my Girlfriend and I moved into our new apartment near DuBois Pennsylvania. For the first week, everything within the apartment was fine, until one morning, I was making coffee to get ready for work, when I felt that there was someone in the kitchen with me. When I turned around, there was a small boy standing in my kitchen, near the hallway. I noticed when I look at the boy that he “didn’t seem right”. I noticed that the boy was wearing “Amish” clothes and I could see the hallway wall though his figure. I stood and stared for what seemed to be forever, when he turned and walked down the hall. The Crop Circle Gods?

I can’t take your story as true, and your overuse of “the Crop Circle Gods.” Next thing I know there will be a God of Light Bulbs, or God of car accidents, or God of Lightning and Thunder. ( Crop Circles ~ Messages from the Gods )

I think I understand what you are suggesting, and I simply can’t accept anything as the work of a “God” just because we don’t know for sure how or who is doing this, and what is the meaning of it.

I can imagine many ways to communicate with other human beings…, and none of them have anything to do with crop circles.

What is so important that these gods have traveled hundreds or thousands of light years to create enigmatic symbols that are meant to enlighten us about something? What ever happened to SETI? Maybe they are living in a parallel dimension to us. Maybe they are simply here in our time and …

Ouija Board and the Christ

My mom took me and my sister and brother to see Ghost Busters when I was nine. She took great issue with how lightly the spirit world was portrayed and spent 20 minutes after the movie in the parking lot telling us about the dangers of the occult.

She once played with a Ouija board when she was a young teen at a birthday party while all the adults were in the back yard. She said that furniture actually “walked” across the room and that all of the girls freaked out and never touched the board again. Now that we have the internet to connect us all, I’ve found many stories of Animated Furniture (as the phenomenon seems to be called).

My mom is Christian but my dad is not so while I was taught about Christ, we were not a regular church going Christian household. I accepted Christ into my heart around the age of nine I would guess. …

Not all Ghosts are Scary

If I may, I must preface this account with the fact that for 34 years of my life, up to the night it happened, I had been expecting to see something one day. Although generally a hard line rationalist, I have always ‘felt’ something in particular places.

Even as a very young child I remember somehow knowing that I should not go into certain houses or rooms in other people’s houses. I would, and still do feel an intense cold sensation in places that I sometimes later find out were believed to be haunted.

Rarely do I feel anything other than the cold. However, I inevitably come away from such an experience knowing details about the cold chilled rooms or houses. When I say details, what I mean is I know without thinking about it, the reason the cold sensation is there. I cannot say I understand how or why this happens, it simply does. Strange Consecutive Events

There isn’t really anything scary, just very curious.

Quite some time ago, I was visiting my son at his apartment and I noticed a distinct odor I’ve never smelled before. Then my eyes started burning. There was no smoke or any other visible air borne particulates. I didn’t stay long. I was getting a bad feeling.

Sometime later I experienced the same thing, at a different location. There was no odor this time, but my eyes were burning to the point that I had to get out of there.

The third event happened a short time later, and was just like the second, no odor, just something burning my eyes, and by this time I suspected that something was following me around.

I was watching some video about something paranormal, and the people in the video complained about something burning their eyes…, that got my attention.

Hanging in the Old Jail House

A funny thing I am noticing as I am growing older about the recollection of childhood moments is that, they are not so much real memories but stories that are so deeply ingrained in me that I cannot recall a time that they were not there. Moments that are spoken of so many times throughout the years that you know really did occur but when you think of the actual moment you get nothing. It’s like they have become more like folklore than history.

Haunted Village in Kent England

Pluckley is a small village in Kent, England. It is reportedly the most haunted place in England. I am a keen ghost hunter so I’ve spent many nights down there, armed with my trusty video camera and here’s what happened the first night…

Myself a group of friends drove down to Pluckley, we arrived approximately 11 pm. Pluckley is an extremely small village and really consists of one pub, a church, a small shop, butchers, a school and the rest are houses. There are 2 ‘main’ roads which run through Pluckley, one which goes down to ‘the screaming woods’ (I’ll explain that one later) and the other which travels through the heart of Pluckley down to the next village which is approx 5 miles away. Although I refer to these as main roads, they are in fact just country lanes.
