Quite some time ago, over twenty years, I had graduated from college and was spending some time at my parents’ house in Washington, D.C. Anyway, it was at this time that, over a period of a couple of weeks, I had a series of experiences which disturbed me greatly at the time, and which I still often remember and wonder about.

Paranormal Experiences and Abnormal Sleep Problems

I have had many ‘abnormal’ sleep problems. I’ve slept walked and talked but by far the scariest thing that’s happened to me is my dreams and sleep paralysis. It’s a very odd story and forgive me if it’s a little disorganized.

My two best friends and myself started having very vivid and terrifying dreams a while back. And terrifying is NOT an exaggeration. We thought nothing of it until the same ‘person’ would appear in all of our dreams. I was the first one to have one of these dreams and I thought nothing of it until I was telling my friend about it and she said, “The person you described sounds like this guys in a dream I had.” So the dreams got even more terrifying and soon weird things started happening.

Sleep Paralysis and a Shadowy Figure

I started having sleep paralysis about a month ago and have only had it happen twice. I am 19 years old. My first dream happened about three weeks ago at about one o’clock in the afternoon. I was laying on my stomach in my bed and I could hear my roommate walking around getting ready for a class when I suddenly couldn’t move or speak. I could see this shadowy figure that seemed to be hugging me from the back and I could even feel it. I had this horrible feeling that it was not something good and it put me into almost a shocked state.

Sleep Paralysis a Heaviness and Dark Pressure

I have had this happen to me two of times in my life, I am currently 31. I do remember sleep paralysis happening throughout my entire life, even as a child. I was very young, too young to understand what was happening. I remember running into my parent’s room so frightened. Though the paralysis has happened through my life, the feeling of heaviness and a dark pressure on me has only happened twice. And the most recent time, I believe I also had an out of body experience. This happened again last night and I’ll get to that, but the time before last was 8 years ago, I was 23.

Encounter with a Ghost or an Angel?

This experience happened a few years ago and I have tried to forget it, but it will never escape me. I have always been very intrigued with the paranormal. As a child I was fascinated with old graveyards, old houses, old books, old people, etc. I am from New England, Connecticut. I guess one could say that I have an old soul.

Over the years I had purchased many books from James Van Praagh, John Edwards, Dr. Brian Weiss, books on the possibility of reincarnation. Anyway I had bought an audio tape by John Edwards – I believe it was titled: Understanding your Angels and Meeting your Guides. I listened to the audio and went over and over what I had learned from it. Basically, how to get your guardian angels to come to you in your dreams – bringing you peace… something to that effect.

My Supernatural Experiences Part 2

Today, I’m going to continue on from my last posting ( My Supernatural Experiences ). Last time, I believe, I had told you about my encounter from years ago with a floating hooded entity and a ‘living’ tie…. Fighting a Demon For my Soul

This story takes place when I was 11 or 12 years old, it’s hard to be certain; I am 20 years old now. I am not very religious and if you knew me in person, you would know me as a rational, intelligent person. That being said, here we go.

I was enjoying a normal dream, I can’t remember what I was dreaming of but at some point my subconscious abruptly shifted into a nightmare. I remember that was strange, I can usually tell when I will have a nightmare as I can feel a fear growing inside and pretty much know it’s my own unrest and anxiety that provokes the nightmare itself. This time was different.

In my dream I took on a first person view of my surroundings, I was standing on concrete, cracks and potholes littering its surface. Around me a sea of black threatened to engulf the island of concrete I was standing on.

Contact from Departed Friend in Sleep Paralysis

A late friend contacted me through sleep paralysis.

A few years ago one of my best friend’s killed himself. During the period up to his death I was going to see him as he was at a place I am sure none us would want to be at. He would often talk about death, he didn’t believe in life after death. We often argued as I do believe there’s something after this life.

Hello my name is Crystal, I’m your average 18 year old that doesn’t have a care in the world. Everything that has happened to me started when I was about five.

My parents divorced when I was three, so my dad and brother raised me. My dad and I slept in the same bed because I was just five and scared to sleep by myself. Shadow Person and Haunting in South Africa

Since I was five years old I have had an obsession with anything supernatural, not like aliens but anything that has anything to do with spirits, demons, angels, anything. I am relatively religious, and I do believe God watches over me.

For most of my life, I have always felt that I have had something with me, I have never felt alone. But it has never been good feelings. I am 17 years old, and since I was 9 I’ve seen and felt peculiar things in my house. My mom had experienced paranormal phenomenon during her life so it annoys me when she says it’s just my imagination. Sleep Paralysis or Demon Encounter?

I’m 17 and I’ve had sleep paralysis several times, but never had anything “demonic” happen. And only once did I experience a negative force during sleep paralysis. Nothing this intense though.

In my past I’ve had a few demon related events, but nothing this intense and direct. Last night I fell asleep a little bit after midnight.
