Many Paranormal Experiences Have Things In Common
A lot of stories here have things in common. I have had some of the same paranormal things happen to me as well.
Once, when I was working third shift, I arrived home at 7:00 in the morning and my husband was leaving for work. My seven year old and three year old were asleep on each end of the sofa. I went down the to the bedroom that would be in sight and hearing of my daughters and thought I would nap until they got up.
I fell asleep for awhile, then woke up with the feeling that someone else was in the house that should not be there. I thought that if I pretended to be asleep they would take what they wanted and leave. I was terrified. Read more
Sleep Paralysis And The Late Night Door Passer
I’m not one for believing in ghosts. I’m not religious at all and I find religion very provocative, however, this story seemed to prove to me a spiritual existence.
When I was 11 years old, we moved into our new house, which is an old Victorian one, with a large hall, old rooms, a large park drive etc. which is situated in Bramhall in Stockport (Manchester, England). On the first night of being there, I can remember having a dream where in my dream, I was lying down on my bed awake, and suddenly my door opened, the room turned blue, and a figure walked in, at which point I experienced sleep paralysis. This was the first time I experienced something of the sort, and I assumed it was just nerves about being in a new house.
Now, I’m a 16 year old, and I’m doing my exams to get into 6th form. Between my first night at being in the house, and about 2 weeks ago, I had experienced no type of supernaturalism. However, at around 1 o’ clock in the morning, I was still awake and on the computer in my room. Read more
Wait for Me, My Experiences With Ghosts & The Paranormal
I began experiencing something out of the norm after my mother passed away. I was 17 years old.
My mother’s house, we all felt, held evil forces. Even my mother, before she died felt afraid in that house. When she became sick she ended up in the hospital and would get somewhat better and come home. She would immediately become deathly sick again and back to the hospital she’d go where, after about the 4th trip, she did not come home again. She was cremated and her urn was set up in her room by her Japanese friends who left the table set up with incense and candles.
One night I laid down to sleep in her bed, urn right next to me and as I began to doze off it felt like something had paralyzed my body and I could not move. The terror that shot through me was so intense that I tried screaming to make myself able to move. I was aware of all the sounds around me so I knew I was awake. That made it even worse. As I tried to gain control of my body I saw these gas like substances in front of me. Green and red. I knew that whatever was behind it was evil and I did not want to face it. My terror grew so great that I was able to jerk out of it and make it out of the room. In each of these encounters, that force would continue to try and take me back down.
The Circle - Evil And The Hidden Basement
The circle is based on a true story and real life events. It all started when my mom and my dad moved to Atlanta, Georgia for my dad’s scholarship he had taken. They were a happy couple at the time, so my older brother Marcus, was born and, soon I was on the way. So they really couldn’t stay in the dome anymore so they went looking for an apartment to purchase. They went to this little place right out of Georgia called Westbury so they moved in it. It seemed nice at the time so they bought it.
Everything was going well until one day my mom stayed at home with my older brother. She wasn’t doing too well. So she went to the store to get some aid. When she returned a bundle of black cats appeared on our balcony. It spooked her out a little to think of how they got up there.
A couple of nights later they heard the door close. So they got up and went to see. My parents saw a shadow in their kitchen. They went to look and saw it was the box of clothes that my mom said she had put in the closet. So they went back to sleep like it wasn’t anything but still with a thought in their head and a bad feeling about the duplex.
Constant Fear Of Sleep Paralysis - The Old Hag
I am in my late 40’s. My mother is from the South and would suffer from this disorder often. As a child I remember she developed a sign of moaning loudly in her sleep when this would happen to her, and I would have to shake her really hard until she came out of it. She was always so exhausted when she would awake. She would tell me it was called the old hag or the witch on her back. This would happen most when she slept on her back or was very tired.
One remedy she would use to ward this off, was to place a sweeping broom at the foot of her bed before she went to sleep or place a glass of water underneath the head of her bed. Another remedy was to call and curse the spirit out in her mind.
