Nightmares And Ghosts In Saint James

I grew up in a small rural town in central Missouri. My childhood was very unsettling for several years while my family lived in one particular house.  We lived at 602 East Eldon in Saint James, MO for nearly ten years.  Almost each and every night I would wake up as a young child in a cold sweat.  I would have horrific and graphic nightmares and would feel completely helpless.  Not even entering my parent’s room and sleeping with them would ease the fear.  These nightmares continued for the duration of our stay in that house.  When we moved, I never had another nightmare like those again.

For years, death has been looked upon as either the last stop or the transition to some sort of afterlife. In more cases than not, the latter holds true. From those working as healers over the last twenty years, however, one thing has become abundantly clear: the truth is not always so well defined. Ghost Girl With Cotton Socks

It was already dark when we pulled up outside my grandparents house, a large, Victorian building, with long windows and thick, white walls. Granny welcomed us in warmly and we sat down at the table in her small kitchen, situated right at the back of the house. I must describe the room to you. The roof reaches about 5 metres above the floor, very high, with various cupboards planted within the walls. There is no door leading in, a short bending corridor reaches the room. I was sat with my back to this corridor. A wide, sash window, looking out over the dark garden, is to the left of the door leading out to the garden and towards the music room and the laundry room.
