When Dreams turn to Nightmares

This is the first of many stories I shall be putting up here. This story dates back to at least 1999 – 2000. Which puts me at about nine or ten years old. It all started one night in my small home in New York.

I was getting ready for bed as I usually would. I laid down in my bed and fell asleep. I awoke in a dream that took place in my home, but the energy was negative. I crept out of my room to investigate. ( The way my house is set up is: parents’ room in the back, bathroom, hallway, my room about half way down the hallway, then living room and front door.) Well I am 14-years of age and, I have encountered many paranormal beings. I grew up with a preacher as a father for the most part my father always had bad luck in life no matter what he did. I began to lose faith in Jesus… I met some of my friends family members and they were into Wicca, Nocturnal Magick, Witchcraft etc. They got me VERY interested into the Wicca side of things.

When I started studying and practicing Wicca VERY weird things began to happen to me. I started getting very moody and very angry at everyone. Maybe He Wasnt So Imaginary

In my family, pretty much at one time or another, each of the female cousins has their own little cousin. Their own, meaning that the younger cousin won’t leave the older one alone. For me, my cousin on my father’s side is Jake.

He’s four, and I am confused about his old imaginary friend. Shaking Beds in Certain Rooms

I’ve had several things happen to me over the past several years and I’m still not sure what to think…

First off I live in a house that was brand new and no one has live in this house before us. There are two bedrooms in the front of the house and two in the back one of which is mine. The two front rooms were my sisters room and the guest room. When I was in high school I would hang out in the guest room to watch TV. I watched TV there a lot and never had any problems but one night I felt the bed shaking.

Dawkins Road Oldham County Kentucky Haunting

This is a story I don’t tell very often. I grew up in Oldham County Kentucky, on Dawkins Road in an area called the Devil’s Backbone because of its higher elevation compared to the surrounding countryside. One night, me and my friend Conner were walking back home to mine after being out with a few friends. Strange Experiences with Pentagram and Candles

Me and my friend Kat are always trying to be involved with paranormal activities, but both our moms wont allow a Ouija board in their house.

In 2009 we saw a show about Wicca and decided we wanted to try it, we drew in chalk a pentagram and put candles around it. As she lit them it started to rain. It washed the pentagram off and the candles had went out. We ran inside to dodge the rain. She has a slide door so she slid it shut softly to try not to wake her mom who was in the other room. Then the angels on her shelf flew off and across the room (she has figurines of angles from her grandma). They all broke and her mom came in yelling at us. We tried to explain that we shut the door softly and even if we had shut it hard then how would the angels get all the way…

My Blood Ran Cold

I have tried two previous times to write this story and have not been able to finish telling this tale… I have had paranormal encounters off and on all my life but THIS experience terrified me and still chills me to the bone when I recall it; but it is time it was told… if whatever is trying to stop doesn’t succeed this time.

When we were first married, my husband and I lived in what we thought at the time was a cozy basement apartment. We had two rambunctious male cats Harry and Henry too. between living with neighbors above and those two rascal cats, a lot of the noises I could not place was thought to be one of them.

The Name of Jesus

Recently an interesting question was asked about the name “Jesus” in the comments of one of our stories here. The topic wasn’t really relevant to the story but it is very interesting so I have decided to publish it here.

Did you guys know that the name “Jesus” is only about 600 years old, the letter “J” didn’t even exist prior to that. The problem is that “Jesus” lived about 2000 years ago so how could that have been His name? Why do people adopt this false name? Perhaps its a lack of knowledge. Events Surrounding my Sister

Hello again, everyone. It has been a while since I have submitted a story, and this one is actually events that have happened to my sister, and my niece.

We have always been a family who sees things, hears things, dreams things. I imagine that some of the things we have experienced, others would freak out about. That being said, I suppose I’ll start from the earliest story I remember my sister telling me.

Something Has Followed Me Home!

On our family vacation a few weeks ago we went to a few different historical cities and towns. One of them was Gettysburg.

Jennie Wade was the only civilian killed by direct cause of the battle of Gettysburg, and so of course, her house is said to be haunted. Since I am so in to this kind of thing, my parents decided that going to the midnight tour of the Jennie Wade house would be the perfect thing for the end of vacation since we didn’t go anywhere that I was too excited for.

Poltergeist Mystery in England

I live in a small village in England. Me and my family moved in to our house last October and since then strange things have been happening to us.

A couple of weeks in to the new school term me and my sister lost our reading books. We got worried that we would be told off so we spent over 3 hours looking for them both; We practically turned the house upside down.
