At my dads house in the country me and my friends were sitting in the living room watching TV and eating hot dogs. We were talking and I looked up and I saw this shadow in the kitchen that had to of been 7 feet tall and it was black and bulky.

This happened to me when I was around twelve I am 18 now.

Well me and my family used to live with my grandmother in her house before we used to live in the house we do now. My grandmother’s house is old, and by old I mean it was in the same location when the town was still mostly orange groves. It is also a very small house it used to be a one room one bath, but my very greedy uncle had added on two more rooms and one bath with very cheap supplies to keep most of the money that my grandmother had given him to build it. Well the floor was basically hollow through out the new part of the house, so if anyone was moving in the house you could hear them since there was only one hallway.

Shadows in My Basement

Hello. I’ve been living in my new house for about eight months now and have been experiencing some strange things. Let me start off by telling you, my father died six years ago on the 21st of this month. I believe that my father and my grandfather (who has now been dead for 32 years) follow my family wherever we go. They don’t really concern me as far as ghosts go. They’ve never bothered me as far as I know, but I know they are there. I have a hard time seeing ghosts, but I can feel their presence. Usually I don’t even know dad or grandpa are there. I’ve lived in haunted houses before and can tell the difference if it is one of them, or something else. And I strongly believe that this is something else.

When I was 17 years old I had this encounter and I’m still trying to figure out what happened I’m 30 now. I was sleeping one night in my bedroom which is at the back of the house but you can look out and see the kitchen from my bedroom.

My mother who is a nurse and works all kinds of crazy hours was at  work and because she comes home late I leave the light on above the hood of the stove so once she enters the house she can see where she is going without having to turn all the lights on in the house. Dark Figure Moving Through My House

This will be a fairly short story but I will do my best to keep it accurate. The following event occurred somewhere within 2003-2005 when I was around 10-some years old.

I was at my current home years ago with my 6 year old brother and my 15 year old cousin, who was babysitting us while our parents were out running errands.

It was about 11:00 at night, and we were in the living room watching TV. Shadow Person by the Fish Tank Light

Okay, here goes. You’ve seen me comment numerous times on this site and yes I do live in a very old house that was a farm back when it was new. It’s really very simple and nothing to get all excited about. The oldest part of the house is the living room. Just before this room goes into the next, there are two tall square pillars with ledges going to the outer walls. On one of those ledges is a 20 gallon fish tank. I have an old bakelight headboard lamp hanging on the far side of the tank. The tank needs a cleaning, so the water is somewhat murky.

My House is the Nest

(To Start I do not believe in ghosts, nor can I be convinced, just demons.)

Not one member of my family believed me until the elder neighbors started complaining. At night once, my brother and I were out to get a drink, and I saw a shadow move, and I thought it was a human until it stepped into the street lights. I pointed it out to him, And he didn’t see, I still wonder what it is.

When I was 2, my brother and I were asleep, and we heard a woman singing in the basement. Since of course, my parents were sound asleep in the next room, and my sister away at her friends for the night, there was no source, and it was 5 am. Shadow Figure Attacked Me

Firstly, this story is about my first experience of being attacked by demon / spirit (I don’t know and I hope it’ll be the last as well…) It happened about 3 years ago when I was still 13.

I was sleeping as usual that night, but then something went wrong. I felt like I was already awoke but everything was still so dark, so I decided to went back to sleep again (but that was my biggest mistake). When I went back to sleep again, I felt like something is crawling up from my bed towards me. Mister No Name the Shadow

Now some of you have read my other story ‘Shadow Only Comes Out in the Storm‘ well I was wrong. Now it’s a week before Christmas, it’s hot and my sisters and dad are in the pool… while mum and I are wrapping presents. Now we all know what Christmas is like; Christmas tree going up, present wrapping, school holidays and much more, little did I know there was much more then I thought.

Room of Spirits and Other Creatures

I will start off saying that I am a 24 year old male. I moved in with a friend of mine who is 42 and she has a son who is 12. Our relationship is strictly friends and always has been. I have a girlfriend who’s 19 and she has a 4 month old son.

6 months ago the room that I stay in I was woken up from a dead sleep by something wondering around the room, I had never had a ghost experience up until this point. Strange Things Following Me

This happened after we moved house. The house we live in now is really modern and its the last place you would ever expect anything to happen. Ever since we moved there everyone in our family can feel stuff following them and once my eight year old sister ended up lying on the kitchen floor downstairs at around three in the morning with no recollection of how she got there. the worst room in the house for this sort of thing is my mothers bedroom. Shadowy Figure in the Bedroom

Hello all, After reading all the stories people have put up I decided to recall if I had anything past memories or “hauntings”.  Now I’m not a full skeptic but most of the stories I read I tend to think are made up. (Most likely because I don’t really want to experience it first hand). But enough of that and more to my own experience.

My memory begins living in my old house in North Mankato, Minnesota. I was around 10 or 11 at the time, I’m currently 20 now.
