My Daughter’s Imaginary Friend – A Ghost In Our House

Often times we hear about a child who’s imaginary friend seems to be a ghost. Here is just such a story. This story of ghostly encounters was submitted by a member of our paranormal forum.

I have only shared this with a few people and only after they have had an experience at my home. My son was 3 and my daughter 1 when the first thing that happened was as I was laying down in bed my boyfriends radio that he placed in our bedroom turned not just on but slowly it started turning up.

He was working 3rd shift at a local gas station. So I called him. I asked him where he put the remote for the radio, logical thinking, I laid on the remote. He began telling me about how he lost the remote a few years back at his fathers house. So I slept on the couch after unplugging the radio.

The rest …

My Imaginary Friends Were Ghosts

Ever since I was a little girl I can remember talking to kids, well at least I thought they were real like me. I had two imaginary friends which with time I found they were once like me.

I lived in a home where we had a huge yard that had a little house as if someone had lived there. The house we lived in was very old and the little house in the backyard seemed more old, and creepy I would say. It was locked when we first moved in but my dad opened it as extra storage for our things. In it were old toys and clothing of two little kids, a boy and a girl. My mom never told me about the clothes until later but I kept the toys.

I would talk to a little girl about my age, I was five at the time and her brother was seven, he did not talk much. She …

Mary’s Ghost My Girl’s Imaginary Friend

When my little girl told me that she had a friend called Mary I was very happy to know she was making new friends at her new school, but when she started to talk to herself in her bedroom I began to get worried.

One night I called my little girl down for tea. She asked me, “can Mary sit here?” But I could not see anything. I asked her where is Mary, she pointed to the empty seat, this was supposed to be where Mary sat normally. My little girl would talk to us but she carried on talking to nothing.

Later on that evening I put my little girl to bed. I was half way down the stairs when I could hear my little girl singing Mary Quite Contrary but there was another voice singing it with her. I was very petrified. I told my husband about what happened that evening but he didn’t think anything of the …

Brother’s Imaginary Friend Ghost

I lived in a strange haunted house for three years and for three years we were haunted by a spirit of a little girl. At the time we moved in we loved the house. We thought it would go really well, we thought wrong.

My younger brother at the time three years of age began to talk about his new friend and he told us her name, WATCH OUT FOR MUDPIE. I know, strange name, but it seemed pretty real to my brother.

They would play games and he would let her sit at the table for tea. We had to dish out tea for an imaginary friend, but then we noticed things would happen, for example day to day we would get kettles turning on by them self, if you would sit on a chair it would be pulled out from underneath you by unseen hands, lights turning on and off by them self, and cold spots. Our dog …

An Imaginary Friend Can Be A Real Ghost

Recently we received another story that explores the subject of imaginary friends. Experts tell us that there is no reason to be concerned when our child “encounters” an imaginary friend. They say that it is harmless and can actually benefit the child by helping them to develop their imagination.

But what if your child’s relationship with an imaginary friend goes much further than simple imagination? Many different cases have been reported which indicate that there can often be a more macabre explanation of the child’s imaginary friend than just simply imagination.

What do you do if the imaginary friend disturbs or even harms your child? Is that even possible? Can an imaginary friend actually torment or frighten a child?

What if Your Child’s Imaginary Friend is Really a Ghost?

Do you have a child that has an imaginary friend? Or maybe one of your friends or family members has a child who talks about their imaginary friend.

According to psychologists it is normal, and quite common, for children to invent imaginary friends. But what if your child’s new friend is actually a ghost?

This can become a very dangerous situation for your child as the ghost, or spirit, may be malignant and wish to harm them. In one case a young girl’s imaginary friend nearly convinced her to jump out of a window from which she would have been very seriously hurt if not killed.

Currently we have two different stories here that involve a child’s imaginary friend. Read about the experiences of these two families and learn what can happen when that imaginary friend is a real ghost.

When a Child’s Imaginary Friend is an Actual Ghost

“They” say it is quite normal perhaps even average for a young child to create an imaginary friend. Experts disagree as to exactly why children do this but all agree that it happens. Perhaps the child who envisions their own imaginary friend just needs someone that will listen to them or provide them with company.

There is a lot of evidence that indicates that at least some of these imaginary friends aren’t so imaginary. What would you think if I told you it were possible for that imaginary friend to be an actual ghost or entity?

According to the experiences of some it is true. I have a reader submitted story here that describes a case where her imaginary friend was really a ghost. This little girl’s imaginary friend was real!

I can’t really tell it as well here as the original writer has told it so you should read her complete story about everything she experienced.

Read her …
