I was renting a house in San Diego with Kiko, whom I had met at work. After about two weeks we realized that our morning schedule wasn’t working out… one of us was getting ready for work at the same time the other wanted to get into the bathroom to shower. So one evening we sat down and worked out a schedule. He would get up earlier, shower, shave and do whatever else men do in the bathroom in the morning, then when he was done it would be my turn. We went to bed feeling good that we had worked it out.
The next morning I awakened early and heard Kiko get up, heard the shower running, then later walk through the hallway past my closed bedroom door to the kitchen. All of a sudden, from above my bedroom door, came what I call whispers on the wind. It sounded like a chorus of about 10 people whispering together, “Get up now."
As I opened my bedroom door, Kiko yelled from the kitchen, “Thanks for knocking on my door this morning to wake me up – I forgot to set my alarm last night." Well, I was reluctant to tell him that it was not me who had knocked on his door, but when I did he kept accusing me of joking. When he finally believed me, needless to say he freaked out.
Since spirits can move things, and I have even read that some poltergeist activity involves their stacking chairs on top of tables, and since they seem to want to be helpful, I need to train them to run the vacuum and do the dishes!
