Weird Sleep Paralysis

Posted on December 17, 2010

When I was about 8 weeks old my parents said they saw a young woman over my cot, she vanished when they tried to look at her… well sort of vanished, she looked at them in a disappointed way apparently then left the room. The next day I was taken to the hospital and put into intensive care because my breathing was completely messed up and I needed help to breathe.

About when I was 13 I was moved from the smallest room to a larger room in the house as my sister left for college, this is when I began waking in the middle of the night and seeing a dark robed figure surrounded in a strange black mist that made it difficult to make out their figure. When this happens I am unable to breathe or move or talk or even look away. The figure will always start to come closer until it is looming over me at which point it vanishes, this normally takes about 1-2 minutes.

However, each time it happens the figure starts off closer to me… firstly it was on the other side of the room. The last time it happened it was literally right above me, looking down at me with an odd set of eyes. They looked as if they were worried about me, almost caring but before the figure vanished for about a split second the eyes flashed to bloodshot and very angry/murderous.

The house I live in does have the odd noise or two, clunking from the attic, steps coming up the stairs when nobody is there and generally things being moved about when nobody has touched them. But nobody else has had these weird “visitings” from this figure and I would sort of like to know what I could do… because it’s really scary now that the figure is starting off literally looming above me, what should I do? Oh and my guess is it’s some sort of past life mother or something and perhaps I died before she did or something and she wants me back… but I’m not sure, that’s just based on the experience my parents had. Please help!

Could this mysterious young woman be the ‘entity’ known as The Old Hag?
