Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

Ever since I was a young girl about the age of 9 or 10 my mom often has these dreams that come true. One day she was dreaming of an earthquake in Asia. The next day she told me about her dream. We turned on the news and the reporter said that their was a massive earthquake in Haiti. First we were shocked, then we looked at each other. I turned off the t.v and sat down on the couch. We never spoke of it. Another day she came inside my room crying. I was very worried I asked her what was wrong. She said that she dreamed of a tidal wave washing our house away. She said we were both separated. A couple days later we got a call from my Aunt. She said a huge tidal wave just washed over them and my cousins. My mom and I never said anything about her dreams ever again.

I think my mom got her gift from my grandmother’s side of the family. Now for me I don’t have her gift. I don’t have dreams about the future. I see ghosts and I have a memory like a camera.

I remembered one night I was in my room playing with some Barbie dolls my mom got me. I was only 7 which meant I wasn’t really aware of my surroundings. I was playing with Barbie when I thought I saw a shadow of a person on my closet. I slowly walked to it and opened it. I remembered seeing an old woman smiling down at me. I smiled back at her. My mom called me in my parents room. I hurried back to see if she was still their. She was gone?

Another night I remembered I was only 3 I think. my mom showed me a movie of a bear named Pokie. We watched the movie and fell asleep. That was until 8 years later my mom lost the movie after we moved to another house. We went to a garage sale. I saw a bear. I picked it up and went to my mom. I said to her with a smile. “Pokie”. My mom gave me a strange look and she bought the bear. After that, I was right it was Pokie. Later that night my mom pulled me inside the laundry room. She grabbed a box filled with pictures of me when I was a kid. She told me to look at them and to tell her how old I was. I got all the images right.

Now I’m scared cause my gift is turning into a curse. First I can’t sleep at night cause I keep seeing shadows being cased on the wall for no apparent reason? Second, Whenever I’m in class I keep seeing my childhood past. So when the teacher asks me a question I cant get it right cause I didn’t pay attention to the lesson. Third, When I’m in the bathroom I keep hearing noises in it so now I need to use my mom’s.

Another gift I have. I can see things behind me. One night I was setting up the plates for supper. I didn’t know what was going on behind me but my cousins were having dinner with us. That meant many things would be thrown around the house. I was setting up the last plate when I instantly turned around and grabbed a toy my cousin mistakenly thrown at me. I gave it back to him and continued setting the table.
