Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

Okay, so a for the past few years, many strange things have occurred in my house. What I’m about to tell happened just last year though, and it was the last major thing that has happened so far. I was getting over being sick, and three of my friends from school decided to visit me that Friday evening. We hung out for a while before deciding to go and play on the trampoline my family has outside.

I was watching from my front porch steps, laughing every now and then at them, while Mary and Ricky were talking to my mom about something. Michael was on the trampoline, doing a few flips. All of a sudden, I looked over at Michael to see him flying across the trampoline and onto the floor, a shocked expression on his face. We all went over to him asking him what happened and if he was okay and what-not. “Something just pushed me off!” He said that a few times. None of us really believed him, so he shook his head and we went back to doing whatever.

A few minutes later, Ricky decided to go on the trampoline with Michael. After around twenty minutes of jumping, they decided to take a break and look at the clouds while laying on the porch next to me. Then, out of no where, we hear a loud slapping noise. I looked over at Ricky, and he’s holding his the left side of his face. (No one was sitting near his left side, by the way.) He swore that something just slapped him, and when he moved his hand, it was red like something had slapped him as well. Whatever happened, he was hit with just enough force to make him bleed a little in his mouth.

A little freaked out, we told Mary, who just came back outside, what happened and were trying to figure out to do next. (Mary was sitting on the edge of the trampoline now while we were sitting up on the porch.) Mary then looked over at us and I saw her eyes go huge. I asked her what was wrong, and she told us to get away from the porch. When I asked her why, she told me she saw a little boy grin at her from under the porch (It’s wooden and you can see everything underneath.) before vanishing in the shadows. My little brother and sister were at my grandmother’s house for the day. More freaked out now, I went to go get my mom, who is a firm believer in these things and always has an answer.

When I came back with my mom, they ran over to us, exclaiming that they had just seen a boy’s face in my bedroom window. I always keep my bedroom door locked, to keep my siblings out, and, as I said earlier, my brother and sister were both gone for the day. I ran to my room and looked around after unlocking the door. I didn’t see anything, but it was freezing in there compared to the rest of the house! My dad came in shortly after, and, trying to be tough, started yelling random nonsense. He would say things like, “I want whatever you are to get out of my daughters room! You don’t belong here! Get out and I don’t want to hear about you coming back again!” Nothing happened, but he was sick the next morning for a week.

My friends had left for home completely freaked out, and I couldn’t sleep in my room for a few weeks. Every time I went to bed, I would wake up at any time from midnight to four in the morning due to either scratching sounds, lowered temperatures, or banging on my door when everyone was sleeping. Nothing has happened for a little over three months now, but how am I to know if it’s going to happen again? Only time will tell. Anyways, I just thought I’d like to share this experience with you, just to get it out there.
