Unexplained Video Clip

Posted on June 18, 2011

I had bought a brand new digital camera (not a video camera) and was testing it out at the back of my brother’s backyard in London. I took several movies with it and afterwards, had a sit down in the garden to check my movies out.

I played back one movie with me talking about his house and then the second one freaked me out! There, against his potting shed, was a moving image from one side of the shed to the other. The image was “walking”!

I showed my brother the film and he dismissed as it as light from the camera. I never gave it another thought, until I got back to Zimbabwe and showed my husband all my photos. We had a look at this particular movie and were immediately intrigued, as it really looked like a walking gnome. We have since looked several times and even showed it to our friends and everyone agrees it is unexplained.

Please can someone with a bit of experience in this area help us to identify what this image is. We still have the footage and are willing to send it to the person who can help us.

Wow for a minute there i actually believed you. but are you sure there wasn’t a light somewhere that could reflect your shadow and may have looked like it was something moving. Do you mind showing me the images or footage so i can see for myself and then judge if it was your shadow or something unexplainable?

Alvin, something similar was recorded in South America. In Argentina I believe. I’m sure the video is probably still on youtube. It looked just like a little gnome! It was there for a moment, and then just ran away! I have no clue what it could’ve been, but it sure did look just like a little gnome. Keep researching it! Maybe one day, you’ll figure it out! :)

Although categorized as paranormal, Gnomes are more likely to be on the folklore realm. This type of entity is categorized as an ‘Elemental Spirit’ under the fairy group, Gnomes and Elves are usually mistaken for one another. Most recounts describe them as small creatures not taller than three feet or smaller, they both wear pointy hats and shoes, they both have pointy ears and they magically appear and disappear. The difference is that Gnomes are known to dwell under the ground, where as Elves are believed to live in forests. It’s rare to capture these creatures on film, but I’m intrigued to see the footage, a vague description is not enough to identify what that anomaly on your film is, perhaps you can upload it on youtube and post the link here for us to study.

Hello. :) This sounds quite weird and i’d like to see the video clip if you don’t mind. I’m no professional but I have a very open mind and would like to state my opinion on it if that’s okay
