Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

Ever since I was about 9 I would hear voices outside when I was playing or see things behind me in mirrors.I don’t really know why but I’m 14 and I still have the same things happen I don’t really pay it much attention because nothing bad usually comes from it. But just a few weeks ago I was really freaked out and so was my friend.

It started about October, 11 Saturday when my friend invited me over for a sleepover. When I got to her house my head was hurting which usually happens before I see something in a mirror behind me and freak out, but usually that sort of thing only happened when I was at my house because Indians used to live on our farm so I ignored my headache. We did the usual at sleepovers games, manicures, gossip, that sorta thing my friends mom asked us if we would take some sewing stuff to my friends neighbor who lived about a half mile away. By the way we don’t live near the city so robbers and that sorta thing weren’t really ever a problem. But anyway for my friend and I that was nothing because we ran a mile everyday at school.

My friend argued that it was too dark to go, but her mom talked us into it. Her mom insisted that we took a flashlight. So we went upstairs and got our cell phones, and a jacket grabbed the sewing stuff and left forgetting the flashlights. We started walking and my friend noticed we forgot the flashlights. I told her it should be ok because we had our phones and they had light too.

We got about not even halfway there when I noticed a light behind me. I turned around and my friend said Is that a flashlight? I don’t know. My friend yelled to see if it was her mom but there was no answer. Um let’s just go she said. We walked a few more steps and the light went away. So I didn’t pay it much attention until we walked a little further and the light came back but now it looked like it was coming faster. Let’s run I said. She asked me why then looked behind me and took off as fast as she could. I ran after her scared to look back.

We ran onto her neighbor’s porch and banged on the door. Her neighbor thanked us when we gave her the sewing stuff and I looked back and nothing was there. So we left and I asked her what that was and she said She didn’t know. So we kept walking. And I knew the light was behind me again. I heard heavy breathing and I got scared. My friend looked back and screamed just as I looked back there were not one, but two lights chasing me. I screamed and ran as fast as I could. I looked back to see the lights chasing us getting faster, and faster. I screamed to my friend telling her to run faster.

When we got back to her house exhausted and scared we flung the door open and ran in and fell on the floor. Her mom asked us what was wrong. We told her and were laughed at. The more I thought about it the more I knew it wasn’t a person because the light was too small to come from a flashlight but it wasn’t really small either. It wasn’t a car because we would’ve heard it on the road. And that’s not the only time the lights chased me, they’ve followed me before, after that if I’m out at night. It’s really creepy because I don’t know what they are, most people I tell that do believe me say there orbs, but who knows?
