Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

I’m going to tell an anecdote that happened a few years back while I was living in my moms house. I used to always come home from school and take a nap, it was something I did all the time. One thing I really hated was waking up and everyone would be gone, no one would bother to wake me to invite me, let alone just tell me where they were going.

One night I woke up mad because I was alone… or so I thought. And from my room I could see directly into the living room area, so I peeked over that way and I saw someone sitting on the sofa, and I thought “oh good my dad is here with me I’m not alone” so I go inside to where he is at and he is sitting on the sofa staring at the television set, dressed in all black which is normal for my dad; he wears nothing but black most of the time.

I remember walking in there and I ask him where mom was and he told me in Spanish that she went to the store, so I grabbed the phone which was sitting right beside him and I asked him if anyone had called me… no reply from him so I took the phone to my room and I called my cousin Melanie. I was talking to her for a bit when she told me that my parents were there at Wal-mart which was odd because my dad does not like to get off anywhere not at any store he is not a people person so I was like no my dad is here. Mel she was persistent in telling me otherwise so I told her I just talked to him and he is in the living room watching TV right now, she went on telling me that he was at the store with my mom, so I told her to hold. I walked into the living room but no one was there anymore, the man that was all in black who I thought was my father actually was not!

I remember I sat by the door and waited for my parents to come home. Shortly they arrived and my dad was wearing some shorts and a grey t-shirt, I told them what happened but he just laughed it off. To this day I don’t know who or what that was in the living room at my mothers house, I never seen anything else like that before, but also to this day I always feel like someone is with me at all times, watching me following me.
