Ghost Stories & Paranormal Encounters

This is a true story. I am Uday 23 years old did my master’s in computer’s and I hail from India. I have a strange habit of studying at night and sleep in the morning. Before exams we get study holidays for few weeks. During this time I study in the morning and practice program’s in my computer during night which is placed in my bed room.

This is what happened one night. It was 2.00 am Through out night it was raining heavily and the rain just stopped. There was pin drop silence. As I was practicing programs on the computer, suddenly on the monitor I saw the reflection of a young girl standing behind me. I turned back with the lightning speed but couldn’t find anyone.

To make sure what I saw was true, I was clearly seeing  the monitor, Is she standing behind. Slowly I forgot that and concentrated on practicing the programs. Suddenly I felt warm wind moving near my ears and I saw the monitor to my surprise I saw the reflection of a young woman. She was slim, straight face, opened her hairs , wearing shot dark sweater again I turned back as usual she was not present.

I was scared and couldn’t concentrate on anything. Many questions raised in my mind like who is she. Do I know her. Is she going to harm her. Why she is here? Where did she come from? I couldn’t find any proper answers. I made up my mind, what ever happens let it happen. Let me first prepare for the exams. Frequently I could see the lady’s shadow here and there. I ignored and did my work. This happened for few days. Slowly I felt, she is not here to harm me. Now I felt brave and curious to know who she is. Once I saw the shadow, slowly I moved my eye balls with out moving my entire face to see who she is. Her face was not clear, but I could see her bright dark sharp eyes. If she knew I am seeing her, she flies (Literally) like a breeze. Her eyes was very expressive.

One fine night I made my mind to see her face clearly. I was sitting in front of my monitor (Computer) waiting  to see her. I was waiting for 2 to 3 hours she didn’t appear. I thought of going to bed and wake up early in the morning and study. As I was walking towards my bed, I saw a shadow just moved towards my left. I felt happy, now there was no fear. I sat in front of the computer and pretended as though I doing some work .I was intensively watching the monitor to see her reflection simultaneously I didn’t want to know her that I am  watching her. After a while, I saw her reflection on the monitor. But I pretended I am busy with my work. She was busily watching what work I was doing. She stopped checking whether I was seeing her. Now I took the advantage and start staring at her. I saw her face, cheeks, ears, nose and eyes. Her cheeks was not chubby and her ears was hidden between her hair. I was seeing her eyes for few seconds, all this time she never knew I was watching her. As I was watching here eyes she saw my eyes and knew that I was watching her. She just flew but this time I am happy because as she flew I saw shyness in her eyes. From then I could feel her strong presence in my room. Every night she used to come between 12.30 am – 1.00 am and her only work was to move here and there in my room and stare at me and she used to stay till 4.00 am. When I go to sleep, she sits next to head and puts her palm (hand) on my head and rolling her fingers into my hairs. I couldn’t feel her affection.

I told this experience to my friends they suggested to see an astrologer (A person who says about your future and past). When I told this story to an astrologer. He told I have a curse of an widow (A women who’s husband is dead) and I have to pay him 100 Rs (~= 2 dollars) to cleanse the curse. I understood his intention and slipped away. Now I was thinking do I know any girl who was very close to me. I knew only one girl during my childhood days and I am not in touch with her for the past 13 years. She could have even forgot me. During my childhood we were very close went to the same school and played together. In fact I had crush on her and felt she had too. To make sure she is alive I traced her address and went to her home but she moved to a different state. From our common friend I came to know that, she got married and moved to a different state. Our common friend used to communicate with her through mail but from few weeks there were no mails from her side. I was worried and wanted to know whether she is alive or dead. Her neighbors could not give useful information. In my college I was getting closer to a girl. I told her this story she was angry but I understood she was jealous. The ghost in my room never felt jealous of anything she used to love me more and more. The relationship with the girl in my college lasted for few months and finally we broke up.

Its already four years, Now I am working for a reputable company. I can’t see the ghost frequently as I used see it previously. Once in a while I can feel her presence. During her presence I used feel her love. I wish she stays with me forever.
