Sarah’s Bogyman

Posted on March 13, 2010

Hello my name is Randy Mcneese I am 29 and I live in Florida with my wife April and my two kids Joey and Sarah… And I want to tell you about my ghost encounter.

It all started in March of 1997. My kids and I were home one night alone because I was on vacation and my wife was gone because she works late nights at our local hospital. Joey and Sarah were asleep and I was watching TV. It was about 2:15 in the morning when Sarah ran into the living room crying and screaming saying that there was a bogyman under her bed. With me being a skeptic my first thought was that it was a doll under her bed scaring her.

As I was leading her to her room to show her nothing was wrong I heard what sounded like coughing (my son was asleep in the living room the whole time) so I told Sarah to stay back. At this time I thought someone had broken in so I went to the closet and grabbed my gun (police officer for four years). When I went into her room I searched the whole room before I checked under the bed. I threw back the cover and screamed “get out I know your there!” I had no answer so I looked to find nothing there. By this time I was getting a little freaked out so I checked the whole house and found nothing or nobody. So I put Sarah to bed and went to bed myself.

A year had passed Sarah was now five and Joey was eight. Nothing had happened like that since that night but I would soon know that it was not over. It was night again and my wife was gone on this night and Joey was at a friend’s. Sarah and I was watching spider man, her favorite movie. As we were watching all of a sudden there was a loud screaming which shocked us both. I jumped up and ran to her room which is where the noise was from. When I got in there nobody was there and what happened next I would never forget.

As I ran in I saw a boy about four years old with gray skin (dead looking). The boy stood up and looked like he was crying blood. I stood in shock as he walked to me and Sarah ran off screaming. When the boy got to me I heard a faint whisper say “where’s my mommy” and after that he vanished.

Things are still happening till this day, we are now looking for a home in Tennessee.

Please give tips of help of some kind in your comments.

poor sarah! all i can tell you is to get the history of the land. what kind of clothes was the boy wearin? you could try talking to him, tell him to go to the light, if there is one, tell him to call for his mommy. i just hope he gets there!! good luck randy!!

well, i’m a christian and i don’t think ghosts, spirits and such are from God no matter how pleasnt they might seem. These things could be evil. I say this because with God one should not be afraid and if you’re frightened with these things around then it is not of God. Um, …perhaps tell these things that they are no longer living that they have died. Do you tell these things to go to the light? Perhaps tell these things that you will pray to God for them that they will go where they need to.

Well, I think the whole God-thing is out of the question, I don’t believe and it shouldn’t be necessary to believe to get the ghost-thing solved. The thing Randy could do, you said that right, is to try and find out from what century/year/time the boy is. If he weares old-fashioned clothing that might com in handy.
Randy has to talk to the boy. He does have to tell him he is dead and his mommy probably is too (might depend on his clothes). Tell the boy he will find his mommy if he goes to the light. And also tell him that he doesn’t have to be affraid anymore because he will be looked after.
Tell the boy you cannot do anything else to help him, only that you are sorry for him he had to die, and that it is time he goes to a better place.

Wow! That’s scary especially 4 a kid. Have U considered talking 2 neighbors & try 2 find out what the history of the house is? It sounds like a lost soul & maybe something tragic might’ve happened there. Besides appearing 2 U guys has the spirit tried harming Ur daughter?

  6. Renee says:

Umm…I gotta ask this before I continue reading your story…you say you are 29 but these events occured in 1997- 13 years ago! And you had this family at age 16?? Or was that a typo on your part? Thank you.

    • Breanna says:

That’s exactly what I was thinking. I don’t really think you had a family at the age of sixteen. Youre right, Renee, it was probably a typo. But very good story. Creepy.

  7. Emma says:

Ive had plenty of stuf happen like that

  8. Rylee says:

Definently a lost spirit. Best choice to move.
even being 12, I know a ton about ghosts.
This ghost just needs help your daughter saw it as evil…
    He’s just lost…

  9. Anonymous says:

If his son was 7 in 1997 and the story’s author is currently 29 he would have had to have had his son at age 9. Seriously.

  10. Jerry says:

Aw, you all understand that demons come in the shape of children and animals correct ???
