Why do people only see or hear ghost only when I’m in their presence?
This is beginning to freak me out! I’m a health care employee at a hospital whose patients claim to see people (ghosts) or hear (ghosts) children playing only when I’m caring for them. Sometimes they are very scared at the sighting, yet they never confirmed that these people/children are actually ghosts.
I’ve been working the night shift with patients who are mainly hospitalize for short term rehabilitation purposes (broke a hip, post-stroke, etc) for three years now, and they have given me full description of people (ghosts) who enters their rooms ONLY WHEN I ENTER THEIR ROOMS during rounds, etc throughout the night. They would make often say within one minute of my presence: “who is that woman sitting/standing there?” or “who are those people sitting on the (empty) bed” or “is there a children’s unit next door? I keep hearing children playing in the hallways.”
It does not matter their age, race, culture, religious background or sex. This has been the common theme I hear from them, and my co-workers all laugh at me because I’m the only one they reveal these sightings to. I would go on vacation for two weeks and this would be the first thing I hear from patients when I get back. Last night I was sent to another unit (on the other side of the hospital) and this patient asked me about the children playing in the hallway. I tried to dismiss her account casually, but she insist that she was not crazy nor heavily medicated, etc and tried very hard at convincing me until I had to walk outside of her room.
Why me? I’m I walking with ancestors or angels, etc? I don’t see or hear any ghosts during my shift or when I’m not working at the hospital.
